Thanks for showing the led instructions, I'm thinking of buying this fan and installing the green leds so that it would match my MW3 slim but was scared that something might go wrong if I installed the LEDS in the wrong way:)

The fan is garbage the stock fan is better I bought this fan thinking it would be cool to have leds in my xbox but no it's cool and all but my xbox gets really hot really fast when I take my disc out they are almost to the burning point when touching it it's not worth a 200$ xbox for a 30$ led fan..
Carolina, sorry for dunce question, I'm having to replace my stock fan with this one.. Are all the screws from the outside in, t10?? I have a t8 an some flatheads an precision but don't wanna take it apart to find I haven't got the tool... Thanx
does the xbox get really hot around the fan vent for you? Mine does and feels slightly warm on the bottom of the system under the fan. The rest of the console is cool, is this normal? I also had a game disc of mine come out hot after playing for an hour. I dont remember experiencing this with the stock fan, the xbox is much quieter with the new fan installed though.
I recently bought this fan and replaced it first time no problem. But noticed Xbox got hotter faster, so I seen a video by removing blue wire it will speed fan up and it did. But when I but everything back together the fan seems to be hitting something and makes a grinding noise. Any ideas what I did wrong here or how to fix?
Why jtag or rgh or whatever the fuck you've done to ruin other peoples gaming experience cause i doubt its just for the fancy menu it defeats the purpose of having that console

a torx t8 and t10 are the only ones you need you take a xbox apart
This is the fan I love and will use.
Not sure, all I care about was the LEDs. I would assume they are the same since it runs the same voltage.
It is, way better then the hack job everybody else does, as it replaces the shroud and all the fans.

That blue wire is still there might be touching the fan so tape it with electric tape😃

I believe it won't perform much better on noise levels, but it's supposed to push more air around at the same voltage, which should lower temps
