If I could own just one bass, this would be it. Now that I actually have it, I’m uncomfortable owning other basses, I just feel like it can do anything, and it feels perfect in my hands.

Very cool bass! Beck's 'Sea Change' is one of my all-time favorite albums, due in part to the killer bass work. Mad respect for JMJ!
daphne blue is such a good color choice, my fender mark hoppus circa 2003 has that color and I’ve fallen in love with it 💯, this will be my next venture here for sure
For some reason, I was never into the Mustang bass compared to the jazz or P bass. But the mustang bass has really gotten to me and I really want one now. I will have to pick this one up soon

Man, I've got some serious GAS over this bass. I've wanted a Mustang for quite a while but the Mustang P/J was not what I was looking for in terms of sound. This new JMJ seems to be exactly what I was looking for and it looks awesome as well.

Great bass but for the love of god ship it with strings that fit. I swapped out the stock strings instantly for proper mustang strings
Fender - Could you please make a Deluxe Molded fitted hardshell case for this Mustang bass? The current available Fender hardshell Mustang bass case has HORRIBLE reviews. Plenty of us short scale bass fans out here itching for a quality case to transport our beautiful gear. It would be greatly appreciated to have a case with the Fender name on it worthy of some bragging rights. I've done the research and I know what's available for other brands, but I want a Deluxe Molded case that's fits my JMJ like a glove.

If you meant 1:22, it looks like he’s messing with some Malekko fuzz pedal, but if you meant 2:22, it just sounds to me like a clean signal with boosted low mids, maybe some compression, but you wouldn’t need many pedals for that.

Thats how the bass he bought used came, its an exact replica of his '66. I have a couple basses with thumb rests that Ive never used once.
He also uses fingers, you can see on the video.

It's a good bass but, you know? Buy the MIM Mustang PJ Offset Bass for half of the price and wear it yourself... I am so happy i did that because the PJ Mustang bass is fkn GREAT!
Yeah sorry I own this bass and traditional mustangs are their own thing. The offset is a good budget bass but there is plenty of fit and finish to deal with on those .

A question I ask myself every morning, as I stare forlornly into the bathroom mirror. My entire existence is punctuated by one existential crisis after another. As I looked at prototypes of this instrument, my self-loathing reached a fever pitch as I contemplated the beautiful relic job, knowing full well that I simply do not deserve any of it...and once again, I ask: who the F*** is JMJ? He is an apparition, a nothing, a collection of cells without purpose. That is the only answer that satisfies.
