Just bought the JMJ bass. Didn’t mean to, was looking for strings for my jazz bass and just saw this one and fell in love. Didn’t know much about JMJ before but kinda stoked to have the bass associated with such an incredible player and humble, genuine guy.
JMJ and Pino Paladino are the best bassist NIN ever has.
instablaster.
JMJ… From Medicine to Beck, and Beck to NIN. I’ve loved his work! …
Just ordered this, it’s gonna take a few months to get here but this is my dream bass. It sounds so good
Good conversation that reminds us all to have open minds about music. JMJ's playing with Beck is how I know him and I have tons of respect for his chops, and musicality. Some of the stuff on Sea Change is almost unbelievably tasteful and virtuosic. Certain tracks remind me of McCartney, real busy but it sits in the mix perfectly (yay for flatwounds).
JMJ’s bass work on Paramore’s After Laughter album is amazing
incredible bass
If anyone is curious, the fender host nick reinhart has an amazing band called tera melos
OMG I didn't.notice that!!
Wow! Super cool!! I was just thinking of the Band “ This Great Religion” and searched and found your video✨✨✨
Have this bass and the rumble 100. My all time favorite bass and it was by accident that I even bought one. I just liked the color and ordered it. It’s an absolute joy to play and sounds so freaking good. Plays like a guitar but sounds like the bass I’ve always wanted.
I like the rumble series a LOT. Best new bass amp for the money, IMHO.
budgetguitarist.com perfect practice amp. Sounds huge for the money. Took a chance on it and was very pleased.
The rumble series gets consistent praise on talkbass and elsewhere. Not everyone’s cuppa tea, but a solid platform for bass reproduction.
Rumble 100 is amazing. Sounds great with any bass. Unfortunately I had to sell mine and I’m left with an audio interface
if i were to buy a bass this would be it. at least a mustang bass
justin's the reason i dont cut my hair
Ross McDonald (1975) and Peter hook (joy division/new order)
Willies American Guitars. That place is a gem. Check it out if you're even in St. Paul, MN.
Very interesting... 🖒
Put the Grab Bar AND the Thumb Rest on the Fender Mustang.
Love to see Fender giveaways and i want too but i'm not residents your country list :( Fender basses & amp prices not so high in US or Europe. Exchange rate differences and additional taxes rais the price in my country (About x10 higher).
How do I get that white Fender Amp from the very beginning? That was pretty cool
Custom Shop.
Juan Alderete.
wondering what setting he uses on that rumble studio 40
Mick Karn on fretless bass , my Sifu
Nick is an awesome host !
I know this guy 🤔 he toured with Beck 😌 where it's at...live 😁
👍 Good 🙂 💫 👍 😂
So he plays a 1966 USA not the MIM Signature?
MISA Band-Maid
Nobody ever convinces me this isn´t Adam Sandler´s brother!
Bass inspirations: Yup, Mike Watt would be in. Greg Norton of the Huskers too. Realised too that a lot of bass players I liked were inspired themselves by James Jamerson... go to the source :) Oh, and got to put some Mick Karn to get that super individual take that bass allows (e.g. Methods of Dance live > ruclips.net/video/fuiRBLa7pdA/видео.html)
Why is it called Fender Play when there is so little actual playing? I'm not listening through nearly an hour of the host interrupting the guest to hear 3 minutes of playing.
Justin kinda reminds me of Reggie Watts for some reason
зачем им гитары, если они играют языками?
To me short scale basses are a waste of time😮
Why
@@McDoinky They don't have much of a Growl on sustain they feel like guitars to me , just kind of Blah.
@@michaelblaney4461 Really? A Gibson EB3 doesn’t growl? You’re just generalising. It depends on different factors, mostly pickups and strings. I had a Squier Jag that was mean, too.
Que ganas de mutear al entrevistador, a quien le importa lo que piense... la entrevista es a JMJ
The videos on this bass are filled with to much talk .It would be nice to hear the bass demoed.
Y'know ....like...Fender.....like...could you like....get....y'know like.....y'know someone....like ...y'know...like can string a sentence together to present these? Oh and maybe don't wanna like....y'know make an interview all about themselves.
Love Justin BTW.
our host is way too hyper......interrupts........and generally talks way too much
Agreed....
Agreed… don’t really care about his personal stuff. Better to ask a good question & get the F*ck out of the way
