Gotta love the Allman brothers sound with Dickey Betts on Guitar:-). What I've always loved about this band are the tight harmonized guitars, soulful rhythm and blues......just an amazing band. I discovered these guys when I was a teenager in the early 90's when I bought their greatest hits album one day just to get "midnight rider" after hearing it in a commercial on tv. I now have all their albums on Vinyl (all orginals from the 70's), on Ipod, and they get played on my amazon music often at work. Just love those harmonized guitars...that's what makes these guys so unique. They also had a great album that came out in the early 90's- "Where it all Begins" that has songs like Soulshine and "No One to Run With" .....just a great bluesy soulful album that harkens back to the earlier days.
I have to recommend the live version of this on " an evening with the Allman Brothers first set" album from 1995. It's a phenomenal performance Warren Haynes is amazing. I saw them five times in the 90s. Even if you don't react to it listen to it on your own time it's pretty great

Yes, he did one already.. I forget which song, but he loves Susan Tedeschi's voice, and Derek's guitar work, but he should do some more..
Rusell Shaw saw them on tour with TTB! Very good!
BoogerVision OMG!!!! LOVE Billy Strings!!!!
Never get tired of the jam even after decades of listening.
This is the very essence of timeless, feel good music. This would go great with a nice dose of Grateful Dead, The Band and Little Feat!
Yes please Dixie Chicken by Little Feat.
I have to recommend the live version of this on " an evening with the Allman Brothers first set" album from 1995. It's a phenomenal performance Warren Haynes is amazing. I saw them five times in the 90s. Even if you don't react to it listen to it on your own time it's pretty great
Correct!
This is my summer Sunday morning music. My favorite ABB song. Saw them 17 times. RIP Gregg and Butch.
Definitely one of my favorite songs. Just listen to everything by the Allman Brothers
