    I have a 95 VR4. I love it. However recently parts are becoming extinct. The list of what is no longer available gets longer every day.
    The good news is occasionally some one gets enough orders for a part to get that part re-manufactured.

      Yep that list just keeps getting so much larger. I have grabbed a few non running 3000gt s to use for parts cars.
      And thankfully alot of people are starting to manufacture replacement parts now as well.
      Have any big plans for your 95?

    one more question what are your wheel specs and are you running spacers? i heard the kit works well with 18X10.5 22+ on the offset

    • @illusiveinu
      @illusiveinu  Год назад

      They are 18x10.5 +15
      It's a tight fit with a small bit of poke with the +15s

    I liked the widebody kit that was made but hated how the rear covered the gas cap

      If I ever upgrade the fuel tank I may fill in the gas door and extend that part of the wide body up

    Have you received your replacement pieces yet and how long did it take you to get the first shipment? I had ordered a carbon aero kit back in June and still haven’t received and seems like they are hard to contact, you have any problems other than the wrong parts?

      @illusiveinu  Год назад

      Yes I did get the replacement parts. It took about 4 months to get the parts. As far as I know its just one person making and shipping the kits so the shipments may be delayed. They parts are great quality tho.

      I got it from Retrospec.
      You can also search GTOKing. He makes and sells his version of a 3000gt widebody kit.

    Do they still sell the specific kit you got? You mentioned it was for a stealth but I don't see one specifically for it

      I'm sure they may still have the stealth version of the kit. If it's not listed you can probably message them and ask if they have a kit in stock

    Drilling the body without any rust protection... i give you 3 years untill rust will show up over those fenders

      I'm going to get the car painted and all the holes treated after the kit is fully fitted. I'm not planning to leave the metal raw.

    Dude. How are you going to post a video and just stop. Like the video but I want to see the rest of the car

    • @illusiveinu
      @illusiveinu  2 года назад

      I do have a video with the kit getting finished. Sadly I didn't plan for the kit to not fit. Only the fenders fit but none of the corner pieces fit because they were made for the stealth body. The replacement parts ended up taking alot longer to come in then expected.
