- Out with the old as I roll in the some fresh new Rims for the 3000gt
Updating the look of the car with some new Aodhan DS02 wrapped in a set of Falken Tires.

Looks really good!! I not ready for wheels yet on mine, I got some mechanical repairs and upgrades, paint too. Hope mine looks as good as yours soon.
Thank you 😊 and I hope your mechanical issues can be cleared up soon. I had an issue with the other 3000gt we have with it not wanting to start. After alot of time tracking everything down I eventually found it was a short inside the fuse box itself. Took forever to find.

What offset do I need to clear the front brakes WITHOUT using a spacer?
Looking great ...any concerns or issues with the centric spacer? 7mm too big for stock?
I do have a small centric spacer to make up the gap between the stock hub and the rim. No issues using it. Tho the spacer plate I'm running on the front is needed for the design of the rims because it ever so slightly touches the calipers. No rubbing or vibrations.
I'm in the process of building/restoring my 99 VR4, been using your videos to help along the way. That is a really aggressive fitment.
Can you measure how far beyond the front fender the wheel sticks out at ride height? What is your front camber set at?
I'm trying to figure out if I can fit a 18x9.5 +22 under the factory front fenders.
Yeah I can measure the wheel poke for you. Im currently running a 18x10.5+15 I believe it's about a 2-3 inch poke but I'm installing a widebody to make up for the aggressive poke.

What all do you need to do with your 99?
@@illusiveinu it's a full restore, it was a pretty baked barn find. I have a pile of new parts waiting to go on, Ohlins coilovers, all new suspension/arms bushings, interior parts, new body parts/lights. Intercooler, Pit Road M exhaust, (on order). Lits goes on. Working on the interior right now, refurbished the seat bolts and cleaned up the interior panels, pulling the dash this week to replace the vents and sort out everything behind it.
Oh nice find. I would love to find a 99 vr4 to fix up. I recently ran across one a collector had in Ohio. All that remained was a rolling shell but it still has alot of potential.
