How lovely that someone sent you their threads 😊
I love your videos you show step by step and no music so I can hear you
Thanks for watching!
I just got my SE 1900 sewing/ embroidery machine. I ran across your page. Great page and you gained a follower.
Thanks for watching and for following! It means a lot ❤❤
Because of you and Angela I have started making baby items on Etsy and mercari. I’m just getting started. I cross stitch and have been adding the designs to onesies for now. No videos yet. I have a new regular sewing machine and would love a machine like yours, at least for starters. It’s awesome to watch you grow and tackle everything. ❤️❤️
Thanks for watching!! Angela has inspired me soo much as well
How are your sales on Mercari? I’ve been thinking about it.
Thank you so much for being so detailed. I bought a PE770 almost 2 years ago and never used it because many of the tutorials on RUclips were not detailed enough for beginners.
Glad it was helpful!
@Maria Jackson I also have a PE770, take a look at Kandia Haynesworth on YT. She also has a good tutorial on the PE770, she was selling hers at the time and did a thorough video on the machine and even had a couple videos to get you started on what can be made on the PE770....check it out. I was just looking at them again today.
thank you Im new to embroidery i got a pe800 and seeing you how to do this is good. again thank you
Great tutorial! I will definitely try it out! Simple and beautiful! ❤
can you do a video on how you cut you flannel and minkey. I am having a hard time not wasting fabric.. thanks love all your videos!!!
Great idea! I will try and add it in a video for you
I like minky with cotton.love your blanket.
Oh wow amazing project I wanna try something similar for my daughter thank you for the inspiration
Another fan and a follower here from Japan 🇯🇵…I’m enjoying watching your videos especially the embroidery minky baby blanket.., it’s so detailed and I learned a lot. Thank you very much ❤
A walking foot can help prevent the slipping of the Minky when you sew. They are super reasonable on Amazon. Alternation option is to use a server it’s a super easy way to make Minky blankets I learned that tip from a lady who makes all Minky blankets for a luxury boutique. 👍🏻 I hope you reach your RUclips goal. Best of luck!!! 💛✌🏻
I need to order walking foot. Mine broke 😩 I never heard of a server before. I will need to look that up
@@NeitaFajita A serger will change your life! If you think you can turn around a blanket quick now you can zoom through it with a serger.
@@sewmagicalbyandrea5497 do you use a serger for baby blankets?
@@julielowrey203 Yes, I do when attaching the front to the back when the right sides are together. When it's all minky it's excellent. The minky stays in place and doesn't slip around.
@@sewmagicalbyandrea5497 I have a serger and didn't know I could use it for Minky. I will have to try it!
Thank you for this information i aslo have a PE800 but i have not used it much but your making me get to it
Great video! Congratulations to all the winners and what a blessing to receive all those threads🙏🏼. Loved the blanket, thank you.
Thanks for watching
Thanks so much for sharing. I really enjoyed watching the tips for the Minky blanket!
Thank you for watching!
Neita, you are a very good teacher . Thank you my for your clear and systematic instructions. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge and tips . I have some minky that I’ve never used you’ve given me the inspiration to try using it !
Thank you for watching and for such a sweet comment ❤
Hi, I just found your videos and enjoy them and learning. Im just beginner machine embroiderer. I really like the appliqué and have been wanting to get started appliquéing.
Would you mind sharing where you purchase your appliqués. I sew for a hobby.
I used to do regular sewing many years ago for all my nephews and two children and now I'm back into all of it full force at 76yrs old. I just made about a dozen self bond baby blankets for my new Great grandson.
I would just like to say..If you use a Walking foot it will greatly make a difference how your fabrics 'minkey' and flannel sew together without having to do so much pinning. It creates a wonderful even feeding action of both fabrics and many others when sewing them together.
Thanks for watching my videos! I finally got a new walking foot ( my last one broke while quilting) and it definitely helps a lot when sewing with minky. I also get most of my designs from Etsy and/or my husband digitizes a design for me.
I'm new on and just watching you inspired me. You are such a good hearted person.
Thank you ❤❤❤
If you viewed one of Neita's videos, please hit the thumbs up (or down) so RUclips knows. It really helps Neita out when you do that!
Thank you for this tutorial, Neita! I had to watch it again. Congrats to the winners.
Neita, I’m going to be embroidering on Minky fabric for the first time. I did do a demo before actually embroidering
the design on a blanket…it didn’t turn out so well. Had used only 1 layer of Solvy stabilizer and forgot to pinch the fabric to see if it was loose. One of the elements of the design bubbled up…not to mention there were a couple of problems with the bobbin and thread breaks. On my next try, I’m putting 2 layers of Solvy and stretching it. Do you think that using 2 layers will help eliminate puckers? I’ve missed seeing your videos 😂, hope all is well. ❤
Hiii.. I'm new on embroidery and found your youtube channel. Love your tutorials, that's easy to understand, thank you so much for sharing!!
Thanks so much 😊
I just bought my first minky fabric thanks to you. Hope it comes out as good as yours.
I'm sure it will! I would love to see it when you're done
Hey 👋🏾 love your channel 💕 new sub . What size is the blanket?
thanks for subbing! I offer three sizes for my blankets. 15x18 inches, 30x26 inches, 32x52 inches. I believe in this video I made a 30x36
Thank you for this tutorial! Congrats to all the winners! 😊
Thanks for watching
Neita thank for showing how you did your blanket. I learn a tip. I didn’t think of letting the minky be bigger than the flannel.
It helps out soooo much!
Thank you for all the great information on your blanket process. Congratulations to all the winners!
❤❤❤
New to you Chanel I am a beginner and just bought my embroidery machine i am the 3rd person to have it
Congratulations on getting an embroidery machine! Have fun!
thanks for sharing... you will get to your 5K subscribers. Just don't give up.
Thanks so much
Love how you explain everything thank you💐
Thank you! That comment means a lot ❤😊😊❤
I love watching you. You are doing a great job here on RUclips and Etsy. You’re very inspiring. I hope you reach all your goals this month!
Thank you for watching and supporting!
Thank you for picking my name. I have enjoyed going back and watching your videos but could you let us know the name of the fonts you are using. I have such a hard time picking fonts, there are just so many out there. Thanks a bunch!!❤
Pasta Salad and Sweet Mia are the ones I use
Hey Neita, I’m so happy to have found your channel after hearing so many kind references from Angela, Adelaida, and Cyndi. Keep up the amazing work!
Thank you for watching!!❤❤
Enjoyed the video. Thank you
This is a great video!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful design
Beautiful
Thank you!
Loving all of your videos!!!!! You motivate me in so many ways!! I appreciate the tutorial! 😘
It’s really relaxing to watch you and we are all rooting for you to reach your goals! We are cheering you on and I know you will reach them, you always do!!!!
❤❤❤❤
So happy for you and your growing business! Appreciate everything you do!
I just discoverd you, so Im a bit late to react on this video. I hope you still read this :)
Thank you do much for this awsome video! I just wonder. The embroidery print and the print on the cotton. Of you want that it had the same direction when you Flip it , how do you have to keep it when you sew it together?
Excellent video. Thank you❤️
Hi! Just found your channel. You are a good teacher. I’ve been sewing in the minky instead of the flannel. Your way makes more sense. I’ve only made two blankets so far. Ironing the edge! Yes!! I’m curious about your cutaway stabilizer. Does it make the embroidery stiff? I’ve subscribed!! Thank you so much ❤️
Thanks for subbing! I haven't noticed it making the embroidery stitch. The stabilizer softens too after a few washes
Great video! Love your energy and enthusiasm! Just started watching your vlogs and will continue to watch you from now on! 🥰
Thank you for watching and for supporting my channel!! It means a lot!
Thank you for this presentation. I have a question. When you placed your USB drive, did you have to design it from a embroidery software? I am new to this embroidery hobby. I'm really thankful for the tutorial.
Yes I use a program called Sewwhat Pro to edit my designs before uploading them to the embroidery machine
That blanket is soooo cute! Thanks for such a detailed tutorial and Congrats to the winners!
Love the dino fabric and look at all that thread!! The colors are so pretty!!
I'm obsessed with the thread! It's too pretty to use
@@NeitaFajita you could have some for display only until you absolutely need it.
I just bought a Brothers SE 1900 & I saw small spools of thread that looks like regular sewing threads. They look like they match the embroidery threads like I bought. I saw on the video that some Angel 😇 gave u. Do you know how I would order matching sewing thread to match my embroidery thread.
Very good details. Love this blanket!💗
Thank you!
Hi - do you wash your flannel before making the blanket?
Hi just found your channel, love it. thank you for the tips
Do you use prewound bobbins on your bai machine? If so what kind?
Outstanding video!! Thank you!!
Thank you!
Great video! What size did you make in video?
30"x36"
What is the name of your Etsy shop. Your blankets are beautiful!
Thanks for the tutorial. Now I see where I went wrong when I made my blanket. I so hope you reach your subscriber goal. Remember nothing is impossible 💕
Thank you for watching and I hope I reach it too!
Hi! I love your work its so cute! What software so you recommend is easier to use when creating designs
Love this tutorial thanks for sharing..congrats all the winners
Thank you for watching!
Beautiful blanket. You made it look so simple! I’m just about to jump in to the embroidery space. This vid has given me a boost of confidence! Thank you. New subbie!..:
Thanks you are so inspiring
🤗🤗watching your videos have inspired me😁what is embroidery vinyl and where can I purchase? Also I’ve heard that you must use good thread where do you purchase
I’m here on O’ahu what time should I be on to watch and possibly win something! ALSO love all your RUclips videos!
Do you wash your flannel before using it with minky? My concern would be all the shrinkage of the flannel. Thanks for sharing
Always enjoy your tutorials. Wish I have embroidery machine :)
You will get one day!
Great video, I just subscribed…fr San Antonio, TX❤
Congrats to the winners! I really enjoy your videos and love your work! I want to get a sewing machine and make a blanket, but I’m trying to stop myself because I’ve been on a spending spree with embroidery items 😂
A sewing machine totally pays for itself and you get them for a reasonable price.
Thank you for the tutorial, I will have to try an make one once I figure out whats wrong with my machine 😊
I hope its nothing major!! I would be so sad if my machine was broken
What font did you use on this beautiful blanket?
Pasta Salad is the name
I love that design. How long does it take you start to finish to complete the blanket? Great video ❤️
Depends on the design and size but on average it's about 45 minutes to an hour and a half. I need a faster machine
Love from Indiana USA. Thinking about doing a 4x4 channel. Give me your thoughts ma
Yaaass!! DO IT!
Neita I am new to your channel. I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed watching this and look forward to watching other videos as well. Thank you and God bless.
Thank you for watching!
Subscribed and liked! Nice video. Thank you
Thanks for the sub!
Luv it! Did you iron the heat n bond fabric on once it was all done? I know I mentioned you could right after it was sewn on but u didn't mention when u did do it😃
Thanks for watching!! I ironed it once it was all sewn. You can do it whenever but I usually do it once it's all sewn
Great tutorial!
Congratulations to all of the Winners. Love the blanket 😊
Thank you Stacie!
Love it your video
Congratulations to the giveaway winners. & like alway love your video. i always learn something new. Take care ❤ ya:)
Great video!! I can’t wait to try the baby blanket!!!
Where did you get your materials from? The minky fabric
I get it from Joanns or I buy wholesale from Alibaba
Love the blanket! That dino design is adorable!
Thank you!
New to your channel and love it so far. Watching from the beginning! Waiting for my PE800 that’s on back order so just prelearning. 2 questions did you leave the plastic measuring plate in while you embroidered? And if your image was wider could you rotate it and the fabric and embroider that way? Just wondering if the width limit of a design is the 5” or can we rotate and use the 7”?
The plastic measuring plate does not stay in while you embroider. It is just for placement. And, yes you can rotate designs. You just have to be aware of how you are placing it on the blanket.
It looks great, thanks for sharing x
Thank you!
@@NeitaFajita Do you prefer computerised sewing machines - rather than mechanical (traditional) sewing machines? Do you set your machine to stop in the 'needle down' position automatically? Beautiful blanket. I hope you're well. I'm just trying to decide which sewing machine to buy x
I like using computerized sewing machines but I have only tried one sewing machine so I don't have anything to compare it too. With my brother sewing machine it automatically puts the needle in the down position. With my niece Singer that I am using it doesn't have that feature and I wish it did
Aw thanks Neita. I appreciate it ❤️ x
Awesome 👏🏻 I’ll make one for my nieces :) what are the measurements?
30"×36"
Hey Neita!!! Awesome videos as always! 😍. What size fonts do you use on your blankets? I just got a Flourish II with 5x7 and 6x10 hoop! Excited to work on my blanket!! Thank you again!!
Depends on the size of the name but 1.5 inches to 2.5 inches
@@NeitaFajita thank you so much!!
i love it Queen . :)
Thank you so much!!
Do you press the appliqué fabric to adhere it to the minky?
Yes I use a cricut mini press and just iron the applique. If you heat the minky up too high it could melt
@@NeitaFajita thank you for responding I appreciate it.
Amazing work and great instructions while doing your video! May I ask what you shirt says under the design? I love the sewing machine. 😊
Hope you get to your subscriber goal. I subscribed.
Edit.....I actually just found the video where you made it.
Thanks Neita! Great video, very informative. I love watching all your videos. 😍
Thanks for watching!!
Do you get all your applique's on etsy
Where did you get the appliqué pattern from please
Whats the model for the sewing machine is it on amazon?
You might consider making lap blankets for wheelchair users.
good idea!
Love your videos . Do you prewash the fabric ?
I do not prewash the fabric because I know that some people make have sensitive skin (especially babies) so I dont want to use a detergent that they are allergic to
@@NeitaFajita Ooohhhh !!! That makes sense , thank you !!!
Thank you so much for inspiring us to keep going with our dreams !!!!!
I watched 5 times just for the folding...LOL
Have you checked into the longer hoop. I think it’s like 5x12. I bought my machine used and she gave me the longer hoop with it
I have looked into them. I want to test one out and I seen them on Amazon I just need to order one.
Love it!
I need to make one 😍
❤❤❤
Congrats to the winners! Super cute blanket Neita!
Thank you!!
What kind of sewing machine do you have?
Currently I am using a Juki TL2010 I was using a different machine in this video
where did u get your font from thank u for a great viedo
It's called Pasta Salad on etsy ❤
Thank you sweetheart
This was a great tutorial thank you. Which Debbie are you referring too because my name is debbie but on discord I have my business name as a user name?
The user's name on discord is just Debbie (I messaged her this morning(
