I'm leaning embroidery by machine but have worked with minky before but never seen a separate binding which makes it beautiful and I just live the idea. Ive quilted before so I know binding
I am a 78 year young great grandma. I have enjoyed your post about minky fabric. I have tried to make a crib blanket for my g-grandson out of minky. I have taken it apart three times, not sure what to do now. I have tried spray and pin every inch or so? It always seems to stretch at least by 1 or 2 inches. Once turned it just does not spread out flat. I even tried to sew down the middle first then smooth it out. I'm out of ideas.
With a 3/8” seam allowance, when you turn the binding over, you can see the zigzag stitches. I had to pin thru seam allowance after sewing on white fabric to bring the binding to it so the zigzag stitches didn’t show.
If you go up to the top right corner and touch the 3 dots.... That is video quality. It is usually set low. I always change to 360 and your video is much better (uses more data).

Someone told me to try soil separator at Home Dept. Sometimes you might need 2 sheets, but it works great
