I think it’s a common misconception that the older a god is the stronger they are. A growing population of humans would result in more believers which would make the god more powerful, so yes over time they would get stronger. Only under the circumstance that they are worshipped though. Once a mythology becomes a less common belief it’s highly possible the Gods within that pantheon also become less powerful. Basically worship/sacrifices etc is the source of power versus just existing for a long time.
He waited for hundreds of years then decided to have a child.. so he has been saving up for centuries then decided to release it all in Faye 💀
Kratos and freya stated that time work for gods differently sometime they cańt feel the amount of time passed
That's why he bred a giant
It's his 2nd child so he probably needed time to heal from the loss before even thinking of becoming a dad again.
I doubt he had Atreus on purpose, given the flashbacks and how just having him reopened his trauma, I’m sure one day Faye realized she was pregnant and now here we are
bro could fill up a lake with that amount of nut 💀
The fact the events are about 999 years apart is just so perfect
But theres also the fact that Mimir states that Fimbulwinter came early, and that prophecy didnt expect it to come until much later
I hope the next game, they do a throwback, where you play as old Kratos, like a dream he has within the story.
They should definitely remake the old games with the same story, then some games about his wandering between the Greek and the Norse gods
There are comics canon to the story that takes place after the events of GoW 3. Kratos leaves Greece traveling the world, trying to forget his past, and leaving behind the chaos blades, but no matter how times he leaves them behind, they end up wherever he goes. He ended up in a desert land with ancient egyptians looking people. He didn't stay long and traveled more for years before ending up in the Norse world. It would be very cool to see a game explore that part of Kratos's life.
It’s all a matter of interpretation with the age of Kratos. I’m of the opinion that his age is never mentioned because time itself is insignificant to an immortal being.
But it becomes significant when it’s confirmed that he becomes more powerful the older he gets.
So we have to figure it out tbh.

This and push them to one side of the pitch and be narrow
I actually think he is older.
We have 9 games and some more story before the first one (him saving his daughter and beating a champion of the gods).
- He was a soldier, had a daughter (that wasn't that young)
- Became a general
- Won a lot of battles and wars
- Served Ares
- Was imprisoned by the furys until he faced them
- Searched revenge on Ares
- Served the God's for a lot of years
- Became de God of war
- Searched for the truth about his family and his nightmares
- Received Godly powers and destroyed a lot of cities after that
- Was betrayed and went for revenge again
- Destroyed the Greek world
- Tried to run from his past again
- He was walking for so long, that he ended up in the Egypt.
- And keept going until he was in norse mitology
- Started and ended Ragnarok (fimbulwinter)
Also, remember, Time works differently in different realms and the next pantheon is supposed to be Egypt which I think is before both greek and Norse mythology.

😂😂the funniest bit
He probably had no idea that all those years had passed. Also, after GOW 3..he was pretty much a nomad. A wanderer. So time wasn’t something holding him back or pushing him forward.
Another thing to consider is how long Kratos held the throne of god of war. Its easy to just assume it wasn’t long between gow 1 and 2, but most of the characters he interacts with blame his taking of pandora’s box as the catalyst to their despair (hephaestus for example).
He could easily have held the title for 10’s or even 100’s of years, which could also support the idea that Zeus and the gods didn’t just turn nasty after 1, but gradually fell to the evils of the box. Also would make more sense that Zeus and Athena be pissed that Kratos was constantly hopping down to earth to smash cities like in gow 2.
Oh interesting, good to know I was always curious how old the God of Hope was
In the god of war comics after he smashed Olympus he ran around Egypt for a while and then tried to run from his past for a long time before he ended up in the northlands so it makes sense
also dont forget that mimir says it one point that the prophecy didnt predict dim lwinter for hubdreds of more winters at the end of the 2018 game after baldurs death. so there isn't nearly that much time between GOW3 and the 2018 game
Bro took his maths digree😂
So you are telling me that I need to be roughly 1055 years old too grow that majestic beard?!
Dang it literally took kratos 1000 years to get married
Bro went from wiping off gods to struggle to watch a kid💀
That would be a good assumption but given in gow 2018 kratosstarts ragnarok early because mimir says it werent to happen for another hundred winters and then says the wunter is lasting 3 months long then ragnarok
Oh Hell yeah ❤ I know how he feels about his endless nightmares.
