He didn't go into many details, but he said that he wasn't always the greatest father to them and has worked hard to change that. He said he empathized with this Kratos because of that and he actually teared up before saying that was all he would say on the matter. I don't think there is a better actor for this matured version of Kratos!

Judge is one of our times best actors. His role in Stargate SG-1 shaped my childhood. I'm very happy he was chosen for Kratos, as he never got any other roles that would have brought him to the public eye.

Judge's intentionality when performing Kratos' movements definitely shines through, and it adds to the Heimdall scene so fucking well. After this whole time of watching Kratos never act unless he is entirely sure it is what he wants to do, seeing him being so controlled and disciplined, when he kills Heimdall and goes to retrieve the horn from his belt, he misses it with his hand the first time and has to grab it again. It's such a tiny detail but it spoke so loud given what Kratos is normally like. You can *feel* how shaken up and uncertain of what's to come he is after giving in to prophecy despite not meaning to, while also letting his old self bleed through a bit.

I've been a fan of Christopher Judge basically my entire life. Grew up seeing him in Stargate on TV, so he was in my peripheral even before I really started paying attention to him and appreciating his acting ability. I hope to one day meet him if at all possible, just to tell him I appreciate what he's contributed to the world of performing arts. I honestly don't want an autograph or a picture, I really just want to shake his hand and look him in the eye.

I've been a fan of Christopher Judge basically my entire life. Grew up seeing him in Stargate on TV, so he was in my peripheral even before I really started paying attention to him and appreciating his acting ability. I hope to one day meet him if at all possible, just to tell him I appreciate what he's contributed to the world of performing arts. I honestly don't want an autograph or a picture, I really just want to shake his hand and look him in the eye.
