Having played the game first, and then seeing the voice actors for Freya and Baldur sitting across from each other and laughing and having a good time together, is strange but oddly cathartic

God of War has such incredible and talented actors. Christopher Judge for Kratos, Ryan Hurst as Thor, Danielle Bisutti as Freya, Sunny Suljic is Atreus, Jeremy Davies as Baldur and Alastair Duncan as Mimir. And so many others. Amazing people.
God of War Ragnarok’s battle with Freya better open with the lines:
Freya: “How DARE you! A hotdog is, in no way, a sandwich!”
Kratos: “Foolish woman! A hotdog IS technically a sandwich, and Pineapples do not belong anywhere NEAR a pizza!”
Freya: “Your arrogance will be the death of you! It brings a sweet and savory taste!”
Baldur: “MOOOTHEEER! I’ve risen from the dead, not to stop Ragnarok, but to destroy you for the crimes of Pineapple on Pizza!
I wish they do that as a joke for extra materials in game.
All three of them, including the man who voiced Mimir, definitely deserve high praise for their work on this game. Just amazing.
OctoberHourglass I saw mimir in the trailer but didnt make the connection to the voice actor till i saw his name in the opening credits and i was like fucking celebrimbor is in the game?! Jeremy Davies has pretty much always acted, and looked the way he does in God of War. Especially on the show, Justified. He's a super nice person if you ever talk to him, or meet him too.

Jeremy Davies looks like the in game Baldur, I wonder if they actually crafted his charachter to his appearance.
They did it with most characters
Yes. They did this for every character, to varying degrees.
It’s crazy how similar they are to their characters (at least the 2018 game versions). Freya’s actress has a motherly quality to her answers and a sense of seeing the best. Kratos’ actor is succinct with his responses, and will think outside the box when needed. Baldur’s on the other hand is chaos incarnate.
The only one I knew before this video was the guy who voiced Kratos, but they definitely line up with what I imagined.
