This is why I say 3rd person action games with a good story and good battle mechanics are the undefeated and undisputed king of video games. FPS with little to no story that’s only good for online play are dead after games like GOW and RDR2.
this interview was fantastic hahaha, I really like Atreus’s actor explaining the urge to be free. We’ve all felt it and it’s fantastic the way he was able to bring such powerful emotion to such a relatable path.

Like the Red Dead Redemption games, God of War has one of the hardest stories in fiction, not just only in video games. Games with great stories like Spec Ops The Line, Uncharted and the two games I mentioned deserves a live action adaptation like they did to Last of Us 2013.

The thing about actors going to TV, it’s change because we love stories more these days, long form stories at that, as the fans we love long movies, games and shows, it honestly just shows how much people have grown to live the art form and the stories being told
I still contend that GOW4 is one of the greatest pieces of media ever created... It really stands with LOTR, 1984, Grapes of wrath, Shawshank and at times surpasses them in my mind because of how complicated it can be with so many moving parts and collaborations it takes
it really is, i just played it back again and the first one is up for debate as the best game of the century, especially when you’ve experienced all the past games story and criticism. Narrative wise, the script and combat is stellar. They even brought back the blades and made it work with the new engine. Athena cameo, Zeus Cameo. Like it was literally 10/10

Baldur comes knocking, we are tricked into thinking it’s because the norse have found kratos, later we discover they had no idea about him, odin was looking for jotunheim, yet the only reason baldur ever went on this expedition is revealed to be because he’s been lead to believe that the cure for his ailment lies within jotunheim, or whoever he is sent to find. So it’s just layers and layers of plot and character building, plus that was just 1 plot device! just 1!! there’s like dozen or so moments just as deep as that one.

God of war fan from the beginning but the last two were NOT God of War. I don’t know what it was but it felt way too different. I’ve never lost interest in a God of War game until the last two. I’ve completed every one 100% through on every difficulty level but I have no interest in completing the new ones. Anyone else feel the same?

I fully believe that these games (particularly GoW 2018 and Ragnarok) are absolutely the best definitive single player gaming experience that can be had. The characters, the dialogue, the story, the acting, the presentation and, of course, the gameplay, has set such a high standard.
So I saw a couple of articles maybe about 3weeks to a month ago titled "rumor of GoW remake" but obviously stuff like that u take with a grain of salt. But THEN I've been seeing vids like these pop up, interviews especially for Christopher. All about God of War. SO, I'd say keep your eyes peeled on the gaming awards that'll be on today. Because that's where all the huge titles will be teased/announced. I been playing GoW since I was 6 on the PS2, I'm genuinely excited for what's to come.

Since Atreus is half Greek, you’d think he would want to know and speak his paternal language as well as his maternal language. It would be pretty dope if Corey ever confirmed this! I’m aware that Kratos is bilingual as stated in game, but it would be like a family thing if Kratos and Atreus spoke Greek to each other, or maybe they’re speaking old Norse to each other.

Yeah... Sorry about that, he's fine... It's a colour issue with the camera. I didn't realise the HDR was switched on and it really messes with the colour of the footage and it was tricky to balance out. I swear he wasn't that yellow in person!
Just had platinum on Ragnarok a couple days ago. I really miss Loki travelling with his father. They should make the trilogy. A big last closing for the game and bring Loki back to Kratos.
From what it seems, Kratos decided to settle down after Valhalla arc. If the franchise went to another mythology, it will be Loki as main character, and he probably full grown adult by then.
