Now THIS is a budget build
The temptation to title this as a budget build for the memes was real
Can I have your pc Sam
@@not_Bienyes
TYSM now I get 3060ti 🥰
@@not_BienNono u can have the gt 730 one
Just 1TB of storage with 1.5TB of RAM!?!?!? That is insane.

10gb nic, All your Data is on a even bigger server somewhere else.
LOL! All that money and they put in a budget space for the NVME. I at least expected 2TB. 1TB is chump change.
Bruh you could literally use the Ram As Storage😂
this is really sad 37,000$ PC newest hardware getting 60-120FPS at 4k ultra .... not much better then a PS5 or Xbox for performance .. wth i swear they just kneecapped PC,s nowadays
Dude in the Halo server with a i5 8th gen and a 1050ti, fighting for his life not knowing he's up against $35 000 worth of hardware and 500Gps internet
why would the pc make any difference on skill? i can destroy anyone using a $37000 pc with a $200 laptop
@@BarkerVancityyeah no you wouldn't destroy anyone
@@BarkerVancityGreat joke. 😅
@@BarkerVancity have fun aiming with 22 fps
aint no way LLMAO@@BarkerVancity
Hmmm...I might wait 10 yrs when this is on AliExpress for $250.
The double Xeon CPU combos on ali express. Haha
Very true. Its a shame but at the same time great hardware depreciates in value. Its great to buy it cheaper in a coupel years, its great that more advancements are being made, but damn, the loss of value sucks.
300W on idle though?
@@chiangkai-shrek1575 Who cares, that is like a corvette owner complaining the car is loud.
@@FordPickUPRed Your electric bill might have something to say though
Hitting 21FPS on Cyberpunk with a $37,000 workstation says so much about what's wrong with Cyberpunk.
So it's an optimization problem like the OP said ....
Bruh
Obviously the epyc server CPU isn't optimized to play games
So even with a 4090 it wouldn't work great, and even then
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 brought so much optimization that I can play it with med-high settings on 1080p in 60 fps plus easily with a 970 or 1070
they played that game at 4k with raytracing...
just think about that first for a second.
@@flashicles With the best video card on the market and a god-tier computer, think about that for a second.
this is really sad 37,000$ PC newest hardware getting 60-120FPS at 4k ultra .... not much better then a PS5 or Xbox for performance .. wth i swear they just kneecapped PC,s nowadays
I have always enjoyed the budget builds, but watching ridiculous builds like this is really amazing!! Thank you for doing this!
playing 4k on a dual epic setup is wild, just test in 1080p or 720p or whatever to see that epic performance, eitherway is just a 4090 benchmark
13:34 even a 37,000 dollar PC stutters on Fornite. Crazy.
kids play that cancer anyway
i ain't got no problems on fortnite with my pc, got rx 7900xtx + 7800x3d
That usually means the game isn’t optimized 100%
@@Alex-Proud-American for a 37,000 I would expect that shit to not matter. But I guess it don't work like that
because the amd epyc cpu isnt for gaming due to its really low single core performance. it just isnt a gaming pc.
Wow, Halo looks absolutely amazing on this setup.
Guys ! I really appreciate your work. Can you do a 1400-1500$ ish budget build ? I am sure some of us would love it ! Cheers !
Thanks for the content. How about some more game benchmarks?
I have a Blender 3D workstation with a 24 core TR and dual 4090s. The problem i always hit is having to manually reduce the active cores to get games to run at all. once I limit it down to to 12 cores it works well for most games.
Nice Worksation Build!
I'm incredibly disappointed that you didn't show the individual threads in task manager LOL
Thanks for the video
Can't wait for prices to come down on the used market for a 256 core processor setup with 1TB of ram, I only have 64gb now for gaming.
that fractal case is huge this time
This is a beast of the computer good video jack matt
Cyberpunk has issues with multi-CPU systems, where some of its processes can end up being assigned to an entirely separate CPU. Beyond that from other tests, it seems many games start to run into issues after 64 cores.
PC, photoshop also has issues when there are a large number of cores and threads.
This PC is insane. Because of the CPU, you could have this PC for 16 years and just replace the GPU every 2-8 years and replace the SSD every 5 years.
you shouldve gone on beamng and seen how many cars it could run, 7950x can do 35 parked with 20 driving, i bet this could do 75 parked with 42 driving at 4k ultra
The 5 minute boot time for the first time is common on new AMD processors for initialization.
Might build this pc for my budget build thanks for the inspiration👍🏽
For online games it was decided closest averages fps to all players with ranges of faster and slower for compatibility to insure accuracy for all hardware
What's crazy is that in ten years, this video and that computer will be a time capsule gem
Fully recommend this at 3x speed it sounds phenomenal
Bro it hurts my mind when I'm thinking that this CPU, on 4k max settings the usage is like 0-3%
It will blow your mind when you realise that the cpu is a bottleneck for the 4090. Btw on 1080p the cpu usage would be much "higher".
@@PhysPushscale yeah.. it's so weird
when a 4090 bottlenecks your system, you know that you reached a new lvl
Problem is games need higher cpu clocks instead of 256 cores. A 7800x3d would probably crush that thing in gaming performance. If paired with a 4090 ofcourse
What do u have your melee button set on? Also what button r u guys using to throw grenades? My stock button settings suck. Any advice would help greatly.
I think the shelves n the back are about to collapse, pretty decently bowed top shelf
unfortunately the benchmarks were misleading but what this pc will do is insanity. make full on disney movies and even edit a great action pact movie.
I want to see it run cut skyline too because it makes the best computers struggle at high settings
and still that frame drop to 478fps will completely destroy gaming experience...
@toastybros Hey toasty bros I have a question on what mother board my gaming pc tower can use its a aura tower and says it’s a mid tower but I want to make sure I get the right mother broard for gaming. I need to upgrade it to have a new motherboard that can support gaming ram sticks
Here’s my pc tower GAMDIAS ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer PC Case with Side Tempered Glass, 4X 120mm ARGB Case Fans and Sync with 5V RGB Motherboard and Excellent Airflow
Not using full Rtx settings in Fortnite is sad. My 4060ti was getting 80-100 FPS at all times in 1440p
Should've shown the 'logical processors' graph in Task Manager!
Nobody:
Toasty Bros: Gaming on a $37,000 dollar computer!
I have 64GB of system ram in my computer and it does come in handy when I have a ton of tabs open. I've seen task manager saying over 32GB of ram is being used when I've had a ton of tabs open so yes it does make sense to have 64GB of system ram. Also I knew Windows 11 Pro supported atleast 1TB of system ram but I didn't know it actually supported upto 2TB of system ram.
32g is the new 16
this is really sad 37,000$ PC newest hardware getting 60-120FPS at 4k ultra .... not much better then a PS5 or Xbox for performance .. wth i swear they just kneecapped PC,s nowadays
Thats some high iq research there mate?
@@aeroflopper Is that suppose to be an insult or a question? You can look up what I said but I really don't think I'm wrong.
@LiquidSnake690 sorry no, I was hoping you had come across the streamer that says its high iq research when you have 15 tabs open, sorry if you think i was having a pop, thats what wrong with the internet everybody thinks you having a go?
would of loved to see 1080p because that stresses the CPU more than 1440p and 4k
imagine the number or crashes & bugs on this i wander how any of old & new games work at all
I want that cpu cooler damn I like the look of that. Got a stock ryzen 5600 rn
My 4090 pc briefly hit 1200 fps for a second or so while in a game menu and I almost crapped myself! I capped it in windows right after that.
toasty bros be making videos about 200 dollar budget vids one day then 37k vids the next day
this is evidence that playing in 1080p and lowest everything still better than maxing everything
I was asking myself if spent too much on my Ryzen 9 7950X3D @ 4.2Ghz, Gigabyte GeForce RTX4090 Windforce V2, 64gb Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR5-5600 ram, ASUS Prime X670-P ATX AM5 Motherboard with it's case and some other goodies along with the 49" ultrawide and now I can say no. No, I did not spend too much. The best part is in a few years I'll still be able to sell the CPU for a pretty descent price and upgrade it to finally stop bottlenecking the 4090.
What's up with the massive bow in the top shelving in the background? lol
Nice budget build
Nah 37k that's wild
There’s a build on overclockers Uk for £85.000.
The PC we will need for GTA6
I love the kitty glitter on the black jacket that makes an appearance almost every video :)
You have a high budget build, but how about a no budget build like literally zero to at max $50?
I think this video begs the question, how close can you get a gaming dedicated PC to be proficient with workstation applications too.
Bruh my eyes work around 300 fps while this setup goes up to 500?Nuts
Can you do a build with nVidia A100(gpu)?
Wouldn't a better test of those two CPUs in gaming have been running games at max settings at 1080p rather than 4K?
3 weeks later, and Threadripper has been revived :D
I would love the torrent mini for a regular gaming pc
would be nice to see this messing around in unreal engine 5 doing game development
The pc costs like about my dream car😂😂
What is the software that shows the FPS Etc. on the top left hand side of the game?
What are you talking about no HD Audio? It's gonna come out the HDMI like that. !?!
These guys decided to Low Key beat Linuses "THE COMPENSATOR" 😅
this is the DEFINITION of price to performance
Matt got so into the video that he started using the screw driver as a mic🤣🤣💀💀💀
You should've tried this at 1080p where the cpu would have to do the most work
How about dual Threadripper cpus + 4 rtx 4090 gpus. Virtualization ftw!
i would have liked to see escape from tarkov on this rig since its a cpu based game
200 fps cyberpunk build next? :-D
How much did it cost ? You didn't mention it much.
Air coolers on those cpus?
will be a refurb in a few years - look at it that way
watercooling this would looks so bad ass! holy shit!
So, doing the maths, that means I should be able to get 100 FPS for just $7400!
LOOK! apply the settings to turn off hyperthreading and apply precision boost and try again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me and my roomie we're bored one time looking at PC parts and we basically built this rig on paper lol
the 768 gb of shared vram is insane
37,000 dollars should have included a lint roller for my dude's hoodie. lol
U ahould of played baldurs gate at 1080p. Heavy cpu game plus run games at 1080p
Should of done an aida 64 ram benchmark
I mean, my 3060ti with i9 10900k pushes about the same ultra graphics I just dumb it down for even more frames
I’m in the process of ordering parts to recreate one of your builds. Does it matter if I choose windows 10 or 11?
windows 11 looks nicer and has bettter game optimizations but 10 will work fine 😊
No not at all windows 10s just runs games better and has more cpu support
Supposedly, we have less than 2 years of security updates to windows 10 remaining. That's something to consider as well.
Thanks guys
@@MullatoThunder btw windows 12 is supposed to come out in june
Was doing 250fp to 350fps on battlefield then the cap happened, sold the super beast due to not needing the fps that they would lock anyway
Why didn't you play Minecraft? Or another CPU intensive game? Would love to see that cpu usage jump over 50%
Minecraft with infinite rendering and the 40x texture pack with shaders will bring this thing to its knees.
You’d get better FPS with something that has 3D v-cache. Baller build tho
This is a very interesting, and expensive, build, but just so everyone knows - the AMD Threadripper line of CPU's are not made for gaming. Yes, they have more cores and threads than any Ryzen or Intel CPU does, but their base clockspeed, and boosted clockspeed, aren't nearly as fast as your traditional CPU, and there aren't any games out there that can take advantage of so many cores. This kind of CPU was built for 3D modeling, AI Work, and video/music production, not gaming. In a lot of ways, something like a 7800X3D or 14900K would run circles around this CPU in terms of gaming and latency.
wow. finally a pc that might have a chance of running Starfield smoothly
Cant wait till this is $500 on Ebay in 10 years!
Yeah, but how much did it cost?
And on the next gen pc, it will prity much match the performqnce, for avout 5-6k
think you need to reduce the ram to a square root of 48gb/s hdmi 2.1 is my guess
All the money is in the dual CPUs. Definitely a work station. Gaming is ok... A 4090 and 7800x3d would be a gaming set up.
can you cover the ibuypower y40
[15:16] That's cap because you had DLSS Ray Reconstruction and Path Tracing set to off. You didn't max out here
would still expect some water-cooling for that price
Yous are buying really expensive pcs when im trying to buy a 500 pound gaming pc haha but keep up the great content
$37,000 Can Almost Buy A Replacement Battery Pack For A TE$LA . . . Ouch . . .
How many cores are the games using?
2080super with frameGEN ?
I wouldnt pay that for a car or pc, both would be obsolete in 3 years but I bet it is awesome for minecraft and scrolling the tube. In all seriousness I had a work pc in 2015 that pointlessly had 2 titan X gpus (because it could?) that was primarily for editing and cost the company £17 grand. I would work off site at home on a Sony Vaio doing the work I was doing in the office showing how pointless the set up was.
