I'm Sad That This Gaming PC Exists....😭

- This is one of the few prebuilt that we’ve taken a look at that just doesn’t seem to have a place in this market. We seem to be one of the first people to actually review this system and it makes sense why. This system is a strange pairing with an Intel Pentium and RX 580 2048SP….

Whoever thought pairing up a Pentium with a RX580 was on some shrooms
frrrr
I had a Core 2 Duo with a Geforce 210 1GB and 6GB of RAM. Now that's shroom material. 😂
LMFAO fr
Someone say shrooms!!??..
It's a better pairing than a 4th gen i5 though. This pentium supports windows 11 and can be updated to an i5 8400 for like 50 bucks. Or i7 9700 for 130 bucks. That and it needs another stick of ram.
The airflow in that pc is gonna be wild. Specialy with all the fans in EXHAUST mode!
Ever heard of reverse fans?
@@JayzBeerz There are reverse fans, everyone knows that, but the fans in this PC are not reverse fans, so your statement is irrelevant.
@@JayzBeerz 🤡
That's not a big deal. I'm assuming you never saw the videos from years gone by where people have stuffed PC cases full to impede airflow on purpose and little to nothing happened?
If it was a g6600 Pentium then maybe
For anyone wondering the case is a Bgears b-Pellucid MicroATX. It's $55 on Amazon with no fans. The fans are b-ARGB DualRing, which I could only find in singles for $9 each.
just use thermalright its only 6.55 per fan , which makes it pretty affordable
uphere is 3.33 per fan@@xKoro
Classic example of a predatory Amazon seller just sticking a bunch of underpowered hardware in a case with a bunch of RGB, overcharging for it because they label it a "gaming PC", and hoping that some parent/grandparent who doesn't know enough about computers will pay up without really understanding what they're buying. It makes for an entertaining review video, but I hope no actual customers wasted their money on this.
Tbh this pc is better than the computer the toastybros sell. They are selling a pc with only a i3 10105 for $500.
@@profesercreeperbut you get the toasty bros touch and pretty sure if anything goes wrong they will replace it pretty fast. 😂
The biggest flaw for me was that the side & bottom fans are mounted as exhaust rather they should have been set as intake for optimal airflow because top & rear fans are already set as exhausts!
Props to these guys for exposing the crazy rip offs veiled in RGB cases.
I would bet you guys have helped more than one kid get a better pc for Christmas.🎄
That truly warms my heart, I love you guys.
But then re-sell it as is at a discount. $40-$50 upgrade it to a proper i5. Only then will it be a good combo.
im on an i5-3470, i already feel the limitation in games with quad core. a Pentium build is insane
If that psu was an Apevia 600w prestige then it would have been a fantastic psu, because that’s a tier
C. And atleast it’s an 8th gen so it has somewhat of an upgrade path and run windows 11, like you could upgrade to a 9th gen 9400f
Stil big waste of money.. you can build a decend game pc for like 350/400$ now with a i5 10400f and gtx 1660.. just build a pc for my friend with 10600k and rtx 4060 for 550$ everything new from the shop. People over paying wayyyy to much on old hardware its crazy.
@@wazebi6347 i agree, an i9-9900k costs as much as a ryzen 7 5800x even though the performance is not comparable
That sure doesn't look like $300 worth of RGB lights, to justify the price hike...
If you go into the Power plan in Control Panel & click on “advanced settings” you can sort of change how the CPU performs (on battery & plugged if for laptops)
Finally, a pc Tha even solitaire would lag on.
Would like to see you guys upgrade the CPU and show people if this is worth the $ to get started and then do an upgrade the second it gets delivered. The case and fans have it looking like a really nice PC, but that CPU makes it absolute trash. It would be nice to see you guys take these type of PC's to a more reasonable level with upgrades that are no more than like $100 and show us all how it can be done.
I feel like this one is just too expensive to view it as a "good base" for upgrading, but I could be wrong, especially if you can use the CPU that came with it for some sort of office/internet focused system....maybe that would help recoup some of the $ needed to actually make this PC "good"....
I mean for 50 bucks you can upgrade the cpu to an used i5 8400. And a ddr4 16gb sticks go for as low as 35 bucks. So for 85 bucks you can update it to a pc with an i5 8400, rx 580 and 32gb of dual channel ram.
The pentium sucks but it offers a much better upgrade path over the older gen i5's.
What’s sad is it still runs newer games better than my laptop.😂
Honestly if it can run Genshin Impact so my phone won’t overheat I would buy this pc.
I had a Pentium G4560 back in 2017 and that was practically a poor man's i3 back then (7th gen i3 still was a 2c/4t just like that Pentium), it was a great budget CPU back in the day.
These days I wouldn't go under 6c/12t anymore since Ryzen 5 3600 for example is dirt cheap and even upgraded mine to a 5800X.
By that system and a decent replacement cpu and could make a decent system add a stick of ram too if i remember correctly the old pentiums like that worked better with closer to max ram
The bottleneck must be insane
At least they were nice enough to include awesome RGB fans and a great pc case....but yeah that mobo combo needs to be swapped, would have kept the graphics card though.....
Yeah this pc is like a solid $150-200 at best. You're paying for rgb+shipping+manufacture cost tax, not performance
When you work out a method to sell cases over the Post at a profit....
They should have at least put a ok CPU like i5 4th or above best if ryzen 5 3600 or 5500 or or i5 10th or 9th
Cyberpunk have 49FPS average while CS2 is barely playable.
Pentium G5400, MSI GeForce GTX 1060 AERO ITX 3G OC, Corsair LPX DDR4 2400mhz CL14 , Motherboard ASRock B365M-HDV and Kingston 1TB NVME (cheap). High and some medium quality settings in Overwatch, 150 to 180 FPS . No game stuttering 🤷♂
I'd much rather have a PC with this Pentium than a 4th or 6th gen i5. Because it's a Coffee Lake Pentium, I can spend 130 bucks later down the line to update to an 8 core i7 9700. Which is still to this day a very good cpu. While if I was stuck with the previous gen i5's, the best I could go is something like an i7 4770 or 6700. Which are much worse cpu's.
Anything pre 8th gen intel is wothless to me.
I have an rx 580 with an office pc and boy I can't wait for christmas ima build my own buget pc😊😊
Those Pentiums are meant for like...Walmart cash registers. Not gaming PCs. That company just threw cheap garbage together with flashy looking stuff.
100% exhaust on the fans, spotted that as soon as it was unpacked ! What are these people doing ???
Ripping off gullible people?
Nice case...full of E-waste...but nice case.
Ive built 20 rigs with that power supply. Only had 1 DOA and havent had a single returned from my customers. EXTREMELY underrated PSU!
it ran really good for a minute there
Are the fans all set to exhaust?
YEP
They are reverse fans so they look better.
@@JayzBeerz These are not reverse fans, you can tell by looking at the blades. If these were reverse fans, the open side of the fan (the side without the frame) would show the concave side of the blades.
I must be the only person that wants to see an all metal case with zero RGB build. I'm going to be looking at the monitor anyway.
I am wondering how well this would do with dual channel RAM so drop a 16gb stick in it for about $25. Also, what about a 6th gen i5 for another $50. Or maybe even less on both parts if you want to enter a Facebook Marketplace knife fight (gotta love Dawid references). This would make a great $500 ish gaming PC.
No it would still suck because it has all exhaust fans. Cases like this need reverse fans to look good. And then there better alternatives...
An 8th gen like a 8700 or maybe a 9th gen.
TBH it's not too bad, at 8th gen it can support win 11. At least it'll survive the end of support
I love how the pc literally has no fans intaking air lol.
Ever heard of reverse fans?
@@JayzBeerz Those exist, but none of the fans in this PC have reversed blades.
i love how 2:21 we're in the age of
"i hope it's a two core 4 thread"
just because content xD
Pentium the CPU which bottlenecks its own iGPU
Turd + red cellophane + mug punter = ker-ching
you've got to remember, some of these systems are "NOS" (new, old stock). so if you are getting a system that is NOS, the specs speak for themselves....
Man, even a 10100F would blow this away
Umm.... Im sure you have an old dead office computer laying around with a 6-7 gen intel CPU: why not toss that in for a side by side, then sell it with the better CPU and 2x8gig ddr4? keep the 16 to add to another rig with a single 16 in it already.
when they are playing overwatch there is a little box in the upper left hand corner with the system details and temps. Can someone tell me how I can get that?
how does this perform better than my 900$ laptop?? 💀
Power draws and components on most laptops are restricted and sometimes bottlenecked.
@@FunWithAJ yea, probably bc it has an iGPU, but it's the extremely powerful Iris Xe
I wonder if they sell the case with the fans pre installed. I'd get a cheap optiplex with a 6th gen i5 or i7 nd put the motherboard in that case and throw in a gtx 1660 or maybe a rx 6400 and call it a day and just control the rgb from a internal usb 3.0 header. that would be a mad gaming computer for esports or low - mid setting new triple A games
That is the most negative airflow setup ever.
Thanks for the tip - Avoid Alarco like the plague. ;)
These guys alwats keep their channel up to date.
is it possible to update a pre built computer? I have an old Ibuypower ultra AM900z from about 5 years ago.
Most pre-built computers have some kind of an upgrade path.
With your current motherboard, a 7th-gen i7 is probably the fastest CPU you can have.
The stock GPU on your PC was a GTX 1070 or 1080, which can easily be upgraded to an RTX 3060/3070/3080.
Many AM900z's came with a small boot SSD and a 7200rpm data drive. Swap them both out for a newer SSD. (You could even use an m.2 SSD).
@@sixtee5cuda98 would you suggest changing both the GPU and CPU at the same time? What about if I changed the motherboard. I guess at what price point would it be better to just get a new one. Thank you 🙏
@@yubnub5977 I think the CPU is a dead end. If you improve the GPU and storage, you can get another year or two out of your pre-built. I would not replace the CPU/motherboard.
You can find a pre-built i5-11400 system, upgrade the GPU, and have a much better computer than the AM900Z.
thanks. i really appreciate the suggestions @@sixtee5cuda98
I bet that cpu is cheaper than school e-waste peripherals lmao
5 exaughst fan gonna have that thing fly off like a helicopter on Warzone 2 lmao
Anybody who puts "gaming" and "Pentium" in the same sentence should be made to stand trial. (Excluding this one).
I built my PC recently Ryzen 5 5500 with a used 1660 Super, and I only spent $500 US ($780 AUD). People can definitely do better than that PC.
they wasted so much money on aesthetics
The cpu and fhr single channel ram really let this PC down. An i5-8400 and seapping the single 16gb ram stick for 2 sticks of 8gb woukd made s great budget PC. Much better can be found for the price. I suppose it beats the scam i5-2400 with gt730 PCs.
-How many fans do you want?
-Yes!
You can also put 9th gen CPUs in that. a 9400F would have been a decent pairing.
if they install a Intel Core i5-9400 or 9600k in that motherboard @ 1080p it will have 0% bottleneck 👌👌
is there only room for one RAM stick or am i tripping?
Sheesh somebody was high as fuck when they chose that pentium
the best thing in the pc are the fans
Pentium Gold 5400, 2 core 4 thread, 4 mb of cache, 54 watt tdp , yawn, 3.70 ghz clock
Would the 1660 super be a better graphics card?
Also will it fit?
That's Definitely a a Pig in Wolf's Clothing 😂😂
I’d LOVE to see that pentium paired with the rtx 4090! 😂
Do you think this would run Fortnite on performance mode
Should I buy it for fortnite Roblox and Minecraft?
hell no dude go on your local market and find something better. if your local market sucks maybe buy an office pc and a gpu and boom you got an easy gaming pc. Dont buy this garbage
Do a vidéo Where you upgrade it
Should I buy that pc or no cause I was going to buy it
Funniest thing i just watched a video that was all about 2 core CPUs
So i was on your website and i want to know why you sell the dirt cheap computers for 200$ they aren't even worth 100$ with a 2nd gen i5 and a gt 710 or R5 240
i5 8500 and a 16gb dual channel kit and it would have been a nice little pc for maybe $50/$60 more ! Shame really......
You should melt the pentium for its weight on gold
Can someone tell me the name of the case please?
Pentium cpu for gaming? for real? OMG!!! wtf
Your content never disappoints!
$430 for that PC? I wouldn't get $200 for my PC that has an FX8320, Radeon HD 7950 3GB, and 16GB of DDR3 RAM. I'd rather give it away. 😂
Pig dressed up in an RGB new pc case looking blanket. Would be a fine office pc or retro gaming rig but not a 2023 one.
Can you put a decent video card in it and test at 4k?
Why? It would only emphasise the CPU bottleneck.
💀
Do you leave reviews on these items, so that other purchasers don't fall foul to them?
Upgrade it !
I do like the case.
The case is the best part. I want one, but not all exhausting fans.
@@PapaVanTwee5 lol
What? The Pentium cpu isn’t good? Oh no….
does anyone know what this case is called or if theres a similar one?
I would buy this computer from you for the right price, I have an i5 8400 to drop in it.
I got a i5 2300 and gtx 1050 ti it runs cs2 great
Bro I just got it I’m so done
It would of been nicer for $420
I like the music to describe the build.......clown build
what motherboard is that?
go big blue!!
this Intel Pentium Gold G5400 is too weak for AMD Radeon RX 580 on 1920 × 1080p screen resolution for Graphic Card Intense Tasks.
" This configuration has 19.8% of processor bottleneck " 😒😒
CHOOSING A HIGHER RESOLUTION
While this may increase the load on your graphic card, it can help alleviate a potential processor bottleneck and provide a sharper and more visually immersive gaming experience.
CONCLUSION
By adjusting your screen resolution, you can optimize the balance between your processor and graphics card, ultimately enhancing overall system performance and achieving the desired gaming experience.
The Socket on this Motherboard I believe is LGA 1151
if they install a Intel Core i5-9400 or 9600k in that motherboard @ 1080p it will have 0% bottleneck 👌👌
Hi toasty bros I was wondering if deleting Remote Desktop connection is good or bad because I’m trying to figure out why my laptop internet keeps getting major ping spikes and was wondering if deleting this would help and is it safe to delete?
whats that case
Maybe trying to changing the GPU to a rx 6600, then the PC will probe insane
Gpu is fine but the cpu is bad
Dawid just did a video where he used a RX 7700 hooked up to an all-in-one with a Pentium Gold CPU through the M.2 port... and it still only had 40% utilization at 1080p. I knew the munute I heard what this was it was going to be a bad time.
How do you get the fps screen up top to see what percentage the Gpu and cpu are running at?
I believe it’s called msi afterburner
Are you guys actual brothers?
what is the case name?
Im planning to sell rx580 builds paired with a xeon e5-2680 v4 and 16gb of 3200mhz ram and selling those for 500
Avoid Will Robinson!! Avoid!
can it run cities:skylines 2 thoguh?
is it possible too build a 300$ pc that can play alan wake 2
Mhmm maybe. I've gotten some really good deals in the past. For $300 and alan wake 2 you gotta get some seriously solid used local deals. And pretty much all of the budget would have to go to the cpu and gpu (ssd) too, so you'd probably have to cheap out on everything else, either no case or a busted up $5 would suffice
