Suprisingly, I didn't have problems with it. At least at the start the temps were good, and then I just kinda let it go. Cyberpunk 1080p Ultra (upon release) was a cinematic experience, for sure - 30 fps :'D But that's also the limitations of the GPU in it.

I bought a brand new PC recently and it has parallel on the e back I/O, as well as Serial and PS/2. The thing is, it’s an industrial computer, so that’s why it has those ports on it, it’s not really a gaming PC or even a home consumer PC.
The sad part is there's probably a guy out there somewhere who was ecstatic to finally afford all these exact parts and assemble the same machine just to play Old School Runescape in a traditional manner.
I'm someone who's family kept his first PC (win 98) for email/word docs purposes just pushing it to the next least techy person in line when they finally got sick of it and got there own. I found this computer at my grandparents years later and tried to play old school runescape on it when i was visiting. the best i can say is it loaded, but well it was amazingly bad. It was then that i learned there are PCs to weak to runescape 1.

Long boot times, absolutely does not do modern games, the works. An SSD helped with boot times a bit, but it was still not good. Got a new one for my bday with at least 8 times the RAM, a much better processor and a dedicated GPU (lucky me for how difficult it is to get those at sane prices these days), and definitely not turning back. But it got me through stuff for my entire life, and I'm grateful for that. God bless that poor thing.
Using 2 DIMMs is not actually dual channel on this platform. The AM1 platform is limited to single channel (that's why no AM1 motherboards have more than 2 slots)

Our family computer had a 5-7 minute boot time and it was only like six years old. Gotta wonder what was happening there when his worst possible pc can make it in 2
Mine was holding a 6-8 minute boot and when I ghosted my C drive onto an SSD it shot down to 20 seconds. That HDD is srill trooping along as my storage drive five years later so it wasn't a dying drive but it baffles me how much of a jump that SSD was for boot times

I keep a PC like this around just in case I have to recover lost data from broken PCs or laptops. Works great, and parts are old enough to realise that, if they did not break by now, they never will.
The green drive is actually better then all the drives you passed up on. It spins lower because it has flash memory. It’s a hybrid drive and is actually faster then a traditional disc drive

That is supprisingly close to my old pc. I used to have a 760 gpu and a slightly better cpu (4 core 8 thread 2,3 ghz.) though I'm still running ddr3 ram. THe motherboard is some pos that I have no idea what it even is but it works so I'm not gonna complain.

Hold up, you think a 2 min boot is somethin? My old pc that was 15 years old took 30 minuets on a cool start (when it has not been booted up in over 12 hours) and 15-20 min to boot up when it was warm. It ran windows 7, never been upgraded, and has only been dusted once. I should also note that back in it's time, it would have been considered a really good PC.

Mine was holding a 6-8 minute boot and when I ghosted my C drive onto an SSD it shot down to 20 seconds. That HDD is srill trooping along as my storage drive five years later so it wasn't a dying drive but it baffles me how much of a jump that SSD was for boot times

The green drive is actually better then all the drives you passed up on. It spins lower because it has flash memory. It’s a hybrid drive and is actually faster then a traditional disc drive

That is supprisingly close to my old pc. I used to have a 760 gpu and a slightly better cpu (4 core 8 thread 2,3 ghz.) though I'm still running ddr3 ram. THe motherboard is some pos that I have no idea what it even is but it works so I'm not gonna complain.

Hold up, you think a 2 min boot is somethin? My old pc that was 15 years old took 30 minuets on a cool start (when it has not been booted up in over 12 hours) and 15-20 min to boot up when it was warm. It ran windows 7, never been upgraded, and has only been dusted once. I should also note that back in it's time, it would have been considered a really good PC.
