allyn, I've told you before and I will tell you again here's to make sure everybody knows you most definitely are an angel dream. That man that I grew up with from the 70s saved my life at the very minimum my sanity and helped me guard my heart while keeping it open at the same time... Pretty much doing that, learning how to do that, will save your life . He was just an example really cool human being just by how he lived and then of course there was the music and there was a heart...this emotion always, coming out thru his voice. Well you have pretty much pulled off the same thing. And I guess it reminds me of century City all the red tape and corporate bulshit that you've been having to go through in order just to bring us some peace and make sure our hearts stay strong.....it always sounds cheesy to say you're proud of somebody that you don't know because course you don't have any way to take credit for it but I'm going to go ahead and do that because I don't know who you are or how you are or why you are but I sure am proud of the person that you are. Thank you so much and I hope it goes easier from here on out. And if you don't hear it often enoughI just want to be clear and hope you realize that you've made a big difference in my life just by making this available to me so easily. I went to many many live concerts over the years but you always had something new to put up that would make me smile. I'm pretty normal person but still even normal people have to admit that life gets hard a lot and people generally suck lol so not really really meant a lot to me. Obviously you love this music in this man on a deep level on a spiritual kind of level, and I just hope it warms your heart to hear that at leasttwo people like me that are on the same wavelength you definitely emulated all of what he ever tried to sing about. You know they make statues and memorials walls as tributes to certain people that our fallen heroes.. well you would be one of those but a living example of it. allyn, words cannot say what a service you have provided and I know many people who would not otherwise be acquainted with the genius of this music and who have drawn inspiration and solace through your generosity of spirit. Just the other day someone uploaded a podcast where Rick Rubin tells Malcolm Gladwell that half of the original Wildflowers material is still unreleased. Instant clamouring indeed. To my knowledge Tom's widow and elder daughter are locked in some kind of courtroom battle which begs the question, what is love for if not to let that memory be cherished by all, especially when in this case someone who belongs to the world. I am deeply angry at this. Whatever repressive machinery has been set in motion, they are shooting themselves in the foot -- no consolation. Thank you my friend, ultimately no words left at all.
