You can speed through the levels with the acrophobia skull for the achievement.

I just tried using the acrophobia skull from rally point charlie on The Ark, but the Cowbell skull isn't there. Not sure if it's because I didn't start from the beginning of the level or if acrophobia is disabling it, but figured I'd make a comment to save someone else the headache of trying the same thing.

@@Sangheillioz It’s because you have to play the level from the beginning, and you have to hit the loading zones or else the skull won’t spawn. I did it with Acrophobia on.

i also know a few tips & tricks for the terminals & skulls... everytime you're near 1 of em, a (seemingly random) dialogue play's...
on tsavo highway they litterally give away the location and in cortana, as soon as she say's "you like games?" go down and it opens...

I was always disappointed with how boring the last level’s skull is, but, in hindsight, it’s probably for the best as to not kill the pacing of the warthog run with tedious searching.

I know this is a 6 year necro reply, but on the level Cortana, get it before you need to escape. The skull disappears on the way out (at least for me it did)

Worth noting that the flood one has to be a headshot, he doesn't give it up from damage but from death. Otherwise, guide is working perfectly as of PC release

Concerning the IWHBYD Skull: I had to clear the entire bridge of Flood before jumping through the rings would work for me, so keep that in mind if you're struggling with it.

Also, you can't just start at Checkpoint Charlie. You MUST start the mission from the beginning. If you don't, the rings will never flash no matter how many times you repeat the pattern.

Just speed ran Covenant and the rings didn't pop up. Yes I'm on Normal. IDK if it's glitched

It will still work on the end of The Covenant even if the rings are glitched and don't appear. Just jump over the lighted area in the correct order as if they were still there. The skull appears back at Truth deathsite

Do you need to start a mission from the start for skulls to load in or can you also collect skulls if you start a mission from bravo or charlie checkpoint ?
