For those that are still looking for this achievement in the final room if you kill the elites then the hunters then the brutes in that specific order then you skip the second wave of enemies and there is a story behind that. Since the brutes are facing the elites in a civil war. If you kill the elites and hunters first then the brute reinforcements have nothing to fight so the second wave simply doesn’t spawn
I did this by complete accident and noticed it as well.
Well this just pissed me off. Died accidentally in that room with all the elites hunters and brutes, and it sent me back to before i entered the first open area
Restarted and saw what time i was at where i respawned at previously... sent me back about 7 minutes
Pulled this off on normal difficulty 👍🏿
Until seeing this channel, I was doing so many par times on Normal since I thought easy mode disabled par times
I did all of CE and half of Halo 3 on normal but easy makes it so much better
I accidentally ran passed the Hunters that enter the final room and got stock on the ending bridge behind the locked doors. God damn it.

25 minutes would be much better for this 1! and Regret -_- aswell needs at least 20 minutes, while missions in the beginning such as metropolis (since you can speedrun through it with a ghost) could have their part time lowered by 5 mins to compensate! Gravemind is just BS bec of its lenght and checkpoints being too distant from each other!
Anyway ty for your guides, 5 years later still accurate , though sometimes you're super lucky with the ways some ennemies spawn and aggro you :p

I'm sorry to hear that, I got 16:50 on my first try.
I currently need Gravemind and Regret to unlock every Halo 2 Par time.
Regret is by far the moat annoying since a lot of the time is spend standing on the gondolas. They should have made it par 20mins instead of 15mins.
I managed to beat Regret by mere seconds b/c I literally sniped the hunters in the back as they landed from the phantom because for a split second he does a little crouch thing to catch his footing.
@@nekoprincess4130 i beat it but it took me 6 tries around the 15min mark few without skulls then last 3 I used skulls to help me, i don't think it triggers correctly
Yea I’ve been hearing all the par times in Halo 2 are easy except for Regret
Another tip I heard is the phantom they drops the hunters may not spawn if you stand underneath there is drops them and can skip you to the next section
15:35 first try using this method, so happy!
Spawn with no health in the Prison section. The most powerful of Halo's weapons, Glitches.
Everytime I try for the 7 kills without being seen I get spotted no matter what after assassinating anyone
I good trick for that achievement is to use the scarab gun skull on Delta Halo and keep shooting the Phantoms as they drop out troops at the first landing site. You should get 7 kills before they notice you due to the circumstances and distance away. I got it by accident that way.
Yeah I got it with the Scarab skull on Metropolis in the tunnels. I actually laughed out loud.
@@eddiehanley4258 The best way to do it is using the boarding craft on Cairo Station because of how bunched up they all are.
This is probably the hardest one in the game.

i hate the par time and score cheevos. and i hate if you don't get the score done by the time your score drops fast.
I just did this in 15 minutes, and the achievement did not unlock.
Did it again at 16 minutes and the fucking cutscene afterwards FROZE. GOD DAMMIT.
I finished the level but the game crashed during the end cutscene, you get the achievement after :(

When it took u three hrs to do gravemind on legendary difficulty
It took me longer than that on Heroic. I haven't tried it yet on legendary.
that's my next 1 for legendary don't jinx me
@@sundarchip I got stuck at the regret boss fight on legendary. Damn honor guard and grunts kept blasting me. No way I'd do gravemind on legendary.
Oh-carn-ee-ya of time. I never could play that game on account I thought it looked corny. My 10 yo sister played it a lot though.
lol......I have Ocarina of time and Majoras mask on my Wii. Never finished Majoras mask though
