Got this achievement with 1min and 2 seconds left to spare. Made the last bit of this level so much more intense.
Fantastic guide. I totally forgot about that grenade jump. I would have lost 3 mins on that one. Thanks for the guides and I am about to jump into Halo:CE now for that one.

The red brick road leads foreward unto dawn
If you're having trouble with the fight before the door jump on the door sill, then up to the ledge next to it and then up to where Johnson is, just make sure you have a carbine/BR to clear out enemies.
The blue laser turrets are called "Automated Turret"
Basically, Forerunner allies.
800Frozone That's it! Couldn't think of it off the top of my head and the screen size in the software I use is too small to read when I'm recording commentary, lol.
Those deployable sentries are nasty... I did the same thing but didn't destroy one, on my way out I died a few times having no idea why... I ended up having to let arbie take care of it. I was on easy doing an under par run and it offed me twice as fast as a sentinel on legendary. I was pretty shocked.
Halo 3 was a headache, but I got it without having to re-do any level.

Yeah right the brute shot 1hit melee. Good lord
Iirc regular melee does 70 damage, the mauler/spiker do 72 damage, the hammer does 80 damage and the brute shot does 90 damage
The rockets and spartan laser also do 80 damage. The sword does 150.

They take your weapons away because they don't want you to have the unlimited Spartan Laser even though you're basically done fighting at that point.
I have done the campaign on legendary in 2 hours and 54 minutes but the achievement won't pop
You got restart the game or check if your time was tracked go on the leaderboard to chevk

Yeah I had this issue as well with one of them. Turned my Xbox off out of frustration and the next day when I logged back on it popped up right away. Phew!
Great vid, to get this achievement do you have to play with competitive time or anything on, also does the time need to come up on the leader board to count?
Alex Evenden You don't need to play with the timer on, but it's nice to have on for your own reference. Nothing needs to be on, just make sure you are on Legendary. Also, co-op times count so you can do it with a friend :)

Hey is anyone else having issues with this achievement ive done all the missions and made around 2:15 hours on halo 3 and it hasnt popped i also did halo 3 odst in around 2 hours and yet neither of them popped but i had no issue with haloce goat roped.
What am i donug wrong?
Hopefully they popped for you by now. I had this issue with 4 and ODST and after an update (I cant remember which one), they popped for me when I opened the game up.
I did this on the legendary playlist, didn't get the achievement.... I need to do all of this again

How are you going to be doing guides for the multiplayer online achievements? Because those are basically the last achievements I have left.

gonzodavid12 Thank you! Many of the multiplayer achievements can be done in custom games, but some need to be matchmaking, unfortunately. I have a handful of them up already, mostly for ones that can be done in custom games. For the ones that require matchmaking I'll offer some tips and strategies to help make it easier to acquire them as well as making it faster. A good example of that would be my "The True King" achievement guide. Not as simple as going into a custom game, but definitely helps accelerate the process :)
Done all the missions under 3 hours but it says on my stats its 4:40:00? Confused
You may have accidently activated a non-scoring skull for one of the missions
The "fastest clear time legendary" for Halo 3 also takes into account ODST; To accurately view your time for Halo 3, you'll need to go to the leaderboards section; view the individual best clear times per mission; and math it up.
@@Vitrolin2408 Also I've already got the Nagato Makes Moving Easy achievo, but the in game time in my leaderboards says it took me 1:40:39 for every single individual mission, somehow. Like, the exact same time. It must be some sort of bug where it can't work out my actual time so that's the placeholder? Since when I look at the time under mission select with the score stat tracker, it is empty/doesn't have my score.
I have a total of 2 hours 40 minutes and no achievement ?
I have just got under 3 hours and it isn't popping. Also does the fastest clear time include ODST? It says 5 hours for me but when I add up leaderboard times it is under 3 hours.
Note I have the ODST under 3 hour achievement already
Added up all my times and got 2 hours and 55 minutes, didn't get the achievement... What gives???

If you need any other Halo guides you could always search this channel. I have most of the MCC on here along with a handful of other achievements from other Halo games. My goal is to finish making guides for at least the MCC, Spartan Strike and Spartan Assault before Halo 5 drops in October :) ...maybe even Reach, but that is a stretch goal.
Also, feel free to request anything you don't find here. I'll have to do it eventually so I'm always happy to prioritize a specific achievement.
I did halo 3 speedrun around 2hrs and 35 mins no achievements. Is there a way to fix it? Also 2 days ago, I did the halo reach speedrun n got the achievement right away like
Try loading up the prologue and epilogue on legendary. If you did the legendary speedrun in coop, try loading them up with a friend.
