Silver already figured out how the glitch at the end works (see his updated LASO guide) but for all the people here looking for how it is done: In the last section, the Brute-blockade you *only* want to kill the shade turret and destroy the shield generator. Then sprint underneath the truck on the right towards the container and if you stand behind the big crack in the ground, the cut-scene should trigger. (For visual reference check Silver's updated LASO guide). Hope that helps :3
You can't sprint in Halo 3. Only Reach and 4.
@@ZyrusSmith duh, but "walk really quickly underneath the truck" is just idiotic to write and everyone knows what is meant
18:02 Alt strategy for the final Brute blockade: When you Chopper boost up the hill, drive until you get a checkpoint, then turn around and snipe the gunner in the Wraith you just passed. Drive back and board/hijack it (takes four melees, more will destroy it). I recommend bombarding the other Wraith behind the road, but it's not necessary. Takes a bit longer, but is much easier to clear all the Brutes.
Walk underneath the flatbed truck trailer and throw a bubble shield (optional for protection)
Daaamn, I managed to get the skip at the end but I died at the same time and because I had iron skull on, I got the cutscene to start but then it faded me back to the begining of the level DX
Got 14:34 on the og Halo 3 on my 360, it would have been 12:20 but I made the mistake of killing a Brute at the end and I got killed waiting for the cutscene. My checkpoint was at this spot 5:46, of which took a couple attempts because the Chopper kept killing me or sending me flying over the hill to the right of where we're supposed to go.
i always kill the chiefton aswell as the door and the turret and that normally works
The glitch at the end of the level has only worked once for me so far. It could either be caused by only destroying the shield barrier and the shade turret whithout damaging/killing any other enemy in the area (including the jumppack brutes right before that section) while also maintaining full shields or doing the exact same thing, but also killing all of the jumppack brutes near the sniper tower. Don't quote me on this, I'm only speculating lol :P
BalkanGames Haha, yeah I got it to work once, but it was almost useless by the time it kicked in...I killed everyone except the chieftain, lol.

I know it’s been a long time but anyone who’s tryna do this glitch it 100% works, I did it 4 times in a row. (I died 4 times during the cutscene)
So what I did was take out the turret and shield barrier, once those are both destroyed you need to run past or near the head of the truck that is hanging off the cliff.
Then after that you need to survive for 3 seconds as the cutscene is playing or else you will die and have to restart from the checkpoint.

I usually just go stand in front of the pelican (which would be the back of the pelican) by running up the pelican and falling to the ground closer to the door and it works for me
zac reeves I'll have to try hanging around that pelican. It only worked for me twice ever and both times I was near the area you're talking about. Thanks for the tip!
Halo Completionist hopefully that works for you. I have had issues with it too but I usually die before I figure out that it hasn't worked

Btw i jumped off the top of the pelican towards the blown up door after i rushed the turret and it worked
On the first generator if you look and see that the shade is on the right you can just drive up to it and smack the generator and your warthog won't explode (usually).
Walk past the downed pelican for it to end
Leavi Mitchell I'll have to try that in the future. I've seen it done where you don't have to walk by the pelican, but the only two times it worked for me was when I passed the pelican.
I did the same and it didnt work still had to clear everyone out for it to end
There's a crack under the lorry type vehicle on the right side which u can place a bubble shield to be safe while the cutscene loads
Hey I noticed something... to achieve par time on ALL Halo 3 missions is a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes... soo... therefore, you have 20 minutes of bonus time. :D With there being 9 missions, I figured "20 minutes for 9 missions, Ok." Nah... that was incorrect.
Ya, it's much harder than it seems. At least there are a couple levels that you can finish far under the par time.
Try to chill around the back of the building with the Shade turret on top, the cutscene popped for me after roughly 15-20 seconds there.
So this achievement takes your best times for only solos or only coop or we can mix things up coz my times are under 3h but some are solo some are coop and i still didn’t get the achievement
As long as it's Legendary with no 0 multiplier skulls it counts.

@@GibboRUclips You're wrong. Game takes best times from either solo or co-op.
First 2 missions already 30 mins each didn’t even get part time on them
Why do you have the cowbell skull on?
Not necessary for this level. You carry over your weapons/power ups in this level from the previous one.
