I love seeing runs like this that don't rely heavily on glitches because you get to see what actual legendary difficulty combat looks like during a speedrun and i'm able to understand the actual skill and precision happening on screen because I'm familiar to combat on legendary and how difficult it is.

I like to imagine this is canon master chief behavior. Disregarding the Marines who only serve to slow him down, moving from objective to objective with ruthless efficiency and without a moment of hesitation.
Never really watched speedruns of Covenant before, but I figured you were gonna do the whole "landing the hornet on the scarabs" thing just cause I know from playing halo 3 that it's prob the fastest way to kill them. What was really cool though is that you landed on them quick enough that the little animation they do where they lean back and shake their ass would present an issue for you, and you avoided falling off by grabbing the fucking turret, then using that turret to kill the scarab quickly. That's actually practical and cinematic, like I could see chief doing that in a cutscene or something
i like to think that everyone who is witnessing chief are awestruck and confused as to how chief is able to defy the laws of physics and complete all of the objectives in the matter of like a few minutes.

I always wondered for speed runs that have individual level records if someone doing a full playthrough speedrun beats the time on 1 level through their playthrough does it count as a individual level wr still or can you only get them by playing the single level?
