Hi there. Looks like you put a lot of thoughts into the design of your grip, bravo ! Is there a video somewhere, where we could see yourself or someone else use this grip in game conditions? (i.e. with serves, short play, pushes and all the other shots)

Absolutely love the metrics. Thanks for taking the time to make this video! By the way I was looking for two metrics where traditional penhold should get more points than shakehand, but couldn't find them: Basically, traditional penhold doesn't have a cross over point (elbow), while shakehand has it (and thus it's a weakness). Also, both penhold styles are better at handling short balls (within the table) because the paddle is closer to the wrist, so it can be controlled more precisely. Maybe for the future videos? :)
Thank you for your comment. When I saw that my grip was 70 out of 70, I felt almost ashamed, so I checked several times and couldn’t find where I could set it lower. I gave the ratings objectively and the traditional penhold is worse than the shakehand, because of the backhand. I completely agree that it is better to reflect balls into the elbow with the traditional penhold at the table. I mentioned in the video that the traditional penhold is better for forehand playing than the RPB.
Hi Victor.. thank you for your funny and informative video about various grips in table tennis. I am playing penhold blade but my grip is somehow different in a way that my pointy finger hooked & grip in the middle part of the handle and 3 fingers sort of spread about 1/4th of the length of the playing blade. I am still having difficulties in trying to preserved the pushes of the traditional penhold because of my "RPB" grip.. so I guess I am still in pursue of the kind of grip that can adopt both modern and traditional penhold way of playing, because I think the traditional grip has its own benefit (fast and deceptive on the table). I hope this grip of yours can provide me those capabilities.
Hi Julest, When you backhand hit, do you try to decrease the angle between the blade and the palm? (This is the main advantage of the RPB over the traditional penhold) When you hit the right, do you try to increase the angle between the blade and the palm? (This gives a great forehand hitting and from reflecting balls aimed at your elbow)

Appreciate the effort, keep up the good work, you remind me of my old table tennis coach👍.
Thank you for your comment.
I worked as a table tennis coach for a while.
