As a coach, and a player for over 50 years...I can see that she has a strong knowledge of advanced play. One or two corrections, well explained... the difference between 1500 and 2000-2500 levels of consistency. Once you have the "relaxed" arm and supple wrist in line with the arm; then you will learn exactly when to tense the wrist for maximum spin at end; then add rotation and power "loading" from the legs and torso (another lesson or two); all while doing footwork exercises = 2,000 level player with practice at least 3-days a week.

She said " You CANNOT tighten EVERYTHING" .... either stiffen shoulder OR stiffen upper-arm OR stiffen forearm OR stiffen wrist. and there is one more thing .... stiffen fingers .... BUT NOT ALL TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME. 😀
So your motion should start with loose feet, knees, waist, core, chest, shoulder,upper/lower arms, wrist AND loose grip.
You tighten feet, loosen feet, tighten knees, loosen knees, --> continue up the chain, UNTIL YOU TIGHTEN Wrist, Loosen Wrist ... Tighten FINGERS .... AS YOU MEET THE BALL ON THE RUBBER ... Loosen FINGERS as the ball is about to leave the rubber for that last millisecond of control and power .... 😀
    Have fun dude. 😀

This is a good coach but she didn't point out to you a general aspect of how your shots should be while training. Although i am sure she noticed it and i could feel her embarrassment when she was getting smashed! Having said that, so the problem is that you "killing" the ball in most of your spins. Your coach is giving you easy slow and medium-height shots for you to spin on purpose.
You should not take advantage and behave like you want to get the point. This is not how someone should train. This is a training drill to fix technique
Keep a medium speed, fix your rhythm so to try and fix the whole technique. what will happen if the coach do more aggresive blocks? You need relaxed body usage and hand momentum till the contact point and only just before the contact with the ball your do a small explosiveness with forearm. The way you do it, you break down very fast. My coach from the first day said to me:
"Everyone can take a racket and smash a ball. The technique while being consistent is the whole point!"
I am doing 60 consecutive forehand topspin with my coach and i dont get tired. I will break down the rally because i will start to feel dizzy. You were doing less than 10.
The body and mind must get used to a fixed technique. You need high number of rallies. You start with a lower speed. If you can do well. Then you should increase.

There's some good videos from chinese national players talking about it on the ping sunday channel. Their philosophy is to be completely loose in the wrist and even fingers up until the moment of impact, hence why they only use flared handles. A straight handle blade would fly out of your hand when your hand is in the loose part of the swing. This is something I've personally been working on as well, it's largely a mindset as Nathan has said above me. For me what works is waiting for the ball to move deeper and thinking about pulling the ball almost like a fisherman sets the hook when a fish bites. It's a snap or a whip that you create by relaxing and then tightening your wrist and fingers at the moment of impact.
