Im thankful for this band. The love they have for their music and music in general is so infectious. Noone quite does it like they do. Totally. And such a range of emotions too. For instance, Dosed is one of my all time favs of theirs. And at parts of the song, I feel intense sadness and happiness, longing/nostalgia, as well as hope and optimism. All that, in one beautiful song. Only one band does that to me.

I rate the Peppers up there with Queen, Led Zepplin, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, they have a beautiful creative signature sound Flea, Chad, Anthony and John, they and only they are the essential hardcore loving heart of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

If you ever get a chance, go watch Videos of Vaughan warming up and damn, it only takes him about 20 seconds before he's playing rhythm and lead all at once. He could play both without another guitar if he wanted. He breaks strings during live shows and still plays every note and lead without even a blink of an eye while the roadie is desperately trying to get him to change strings. He's like, "no problem man, I got this". Can you imagine if he was alive today, he'd still be able to out play any of today's guitarist, including John. Stevie was a true artist, he played with NO rules. To this day, i think how bad it sucks that he's not here.

I got into rhcp after John left the band in 2009. I honestly never thought I would live in a world where he was back in the band and I could experience greatness like this solo in person. Now that he’s back I was so happy I was moved to tears. That’s how important this music is to me. I hope I can be cast by this type of guitar solo spell when they go back on tour

Very rarely a band buts on a performance when they get complete in the zone. Lost in the musical energy and soul. You can also tell because the audience suddenly becomes a bit still and quite with their full attention on what they're witnessing. And this performance is just that. What fortunate is it was campfires in film for the rest of us and time to come.

That's exactly how I look at music. I look for a sound that can resonate with me. The lyrics can say whatever they want, the tone is master of expression.

Seen these guys 5 times now ... everytime with Frusciante - they have been my music ideals since I heard mothers milk and blood sugar sex magik ( I was 11). All 4 of these guys always give 100 percent and the energy is just magical and magnificent to witness. I recently saw them with my kid and as we were leaving he goes "dad I know why you love these guys so much!" Can't wait to see them again soon

What strikes me the much watching this show for the past 15 years is how much music a language. Of all the guitarists that I know and love John is the one who manages to make it talk. You don't speak its language but you can definitely understand what his guitar is saying. Its communicating with the rest of the band and with the crowd. So freaking amazing. All that outro is just insane. Pure music thoughts poured out. He is thinking out loud.
I always find that whenever I’m alone, I’ve always switched on RHCP. There’s just a magic in all of the bands songs - perhaps as a result of the embodiment that each of them are so different - that helps me feel I have a friend who will tell me all the crazy stories and maybe even see a bit of my life in it all. Let’s celebrate that we have such a good friend who tells us their ludicrous stories in such poetic ways, put so much emotion and meaning into each sentence, and most of all, makes us realise that, we are all deserving of that friendship and love.

The absolute best RHCP live song ever. It is all done to the perfection from all members. Gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it. And that solo guitar is so full of energy and passion. It deserves a seat in the Pantheon of Music.

Very rarely a band buts on a performance when they get complete in the zone. Lost in the musical energy and soul. You can also tell because the audience suddenly becomes a bit still and quite with their full attention on what they're witnessing. And this performance is just that. What fortunate is it was campfires in film for the rest of us and time to come.

I love how whatever solo John plays totally changes the vibe of this song almost to the point where it means something different. These guys rock, they are the best to ever do it IMO.

JF is my favorite guitarist. His songs after he left the band are truly out of the world, check em if you haven't heard them yet! RHCP is also one of my favorite bands. Flea kills it with his bass, while Chad on his drums. And Anthony as always rocks it with his amazing lyrics and moves!

Seen these guys 5 times now ... everytime with Frusciante - they have been my music ideals since I heard mothers milk and blood sugar sex magik ( I was 11). All 4 of these guys always give 100 percent and the energy is just magical and magnificent to witness. I recently saw them with my kid and as we were leaving he goes "dad I know why you love these guys so much!" Can't wait to see them again soon

What strikes me the much watching this show for the past 15 years is how much music a language. Of all the guitarists that I know and love John is the one who manages to make it talk. You don't speak its language but you can definitely understand what his guitar is saying. Its communicating with the rest of the band and with the crowd. So freaking amazing. All that outro is just insane. Pure music thoughts poured out. He is thinking out loud.

I always find that whenever I’m alone, I’ve always switched on RHCP. There’s just a magic in all of the bands songs - perhaps as a result of the embodiment that each of them are so different - that helps me feel I have a friend who will tell me all the crazy stories and maybe even see a bit of my life in it all. Let’s celebrate that we have such a good friend who tells us their ludicrous stories in such poetic ways, put so much emotion and meaning into each sentence, and most of all, makes us realise that, we are all deserving of that friendship and love.
