My surgery is in two days! I’m happy I found someone documenting their journey that is a little newer!

Are you doing ok?
"Buyer's remorse." Worries me, but you're encouraging that this passes after a few weeks. I like to walk but haven't done much becoming far larger than I need to be. "Support Groups," suppose I could try that, too though I'm a raging introvert. Still, I'm the opposite of shy, and like what you said about how might help the transition. And oh: congrats for as far as you've gotten, through this video anyhow! Good man. I'm up on August 10 this year, and full steam ahead at this point.

Not worth it.
I myself just finished 3 weeks out and like you I recently went through a stage of depression, I was ready to quit. (Thanks for the inspiration) I start pariah soon, can't wait to see all the improvements that are to come.
Why did you get surgery?
Your story is more real and you've covered so much in one video which really identifying the good results. My procedure is in one week. Your video is so helpful.

Thanks for these realistic vlogs. I'm currently waiting for my surgery date, and I am absolutely terrified. The more research i do, and the more education i get about this decision, the more i wonder if im going to be able to get through this. I'm 29 and ive been around 320 lbs for a few years now, so it also feels like i dont really have a choice. I have to do this. But i could not be more scared.

The flood of emotions/depression is due to rapid hormone and toxins release from the fat being burned and decomposed for energy.
My surgery is in 12 hours wish me luck

Any updates?
I think it's kind of sad to hear that you feel the need to search for a support group. Here in the Netherlands the support group is part of the program. Even weeks before surgery you get to meet your "class" and you start the journey together. Meeting regularly for a year and a half. I think that's great.

You can have mashed potatoes?? My Dr said no grains breads pasta rice or mashed potatoes for 6 months
I had the same thing….like what in the hell have I done to myself. I’m only 3 days post op

4 days post op.. suicidal thoughts are extreme for me.. I was one year postpartum with my daughter I never felt I gave myself enough time to heal from postpartum I don’t feel I’m going to live very much longer💔💔
