So inspiring. I’m just starting the process to schedule my gastric sleeve surgery. I’m hoping for similar results as I desperately need a push in the right direction for sustainable change.
Great update!! I just found your videos and subscribed. Your honesty and humbleness are admirable. I have my surgery for VSG scheduled for 6/1/21. I’m going to TJ Mexico. Have 150lbs to lose to reach my “ideal weight”. Thank you for sharing some of the issues you have experienced and solutions to help prevent them. You are truly an inspiration. Congratulations on your accomplishments so far and I wish you many more.
Wow! Congratulations! You have exceeded your expectations and more. Really proud of you. I know your wife and children are really happy for you. I am going through some test before my surgery. I want to lose major weight and you are encouraging so many people. I am looking forward to this weight loss journey. I have lost 28 pounds on my own and I was told I will lose even more during my pre-op. Thank you for sharing your experience.
Prob the best, most honest videos I’ve watched. I’m researching this at the moment as I am desperate to change my lifestyle. You look & sound great. Very inspirational. Would love to hear how you are doing now.
Even more inspirational than your 1-week post op, which I just watched: excellent! I'm up for VSG August 10, 2020. You covered a lot of interesting ground, just the kind of thing I'll look forward to as-well. "mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually" better. Amen, brother. Can't wait, m'self. Giving up clothes will be painful...like you I have some gorgeous jerseys (Majestic, MLB in my case) that will need to go; they're sell-able but it will hurt. Details like that do have to pale in the larger picture of this process, though. Thanks for comments about kidney stones and infections, I'll keep on top of my fluids and etc. as you're not the first person to mention either of these problems. When ready, please post more comments btw: want to see you hit that goal, bra!
Bro - Shed a couple tears when you started talking about your son. It's one of the driving motivators for me to change my life around. I want to build that kind of relationship with him like you are with your children. I'm always tired, can play for 5-10 minutes, etc. and hearing your progress is so enlightening. Thank you for your putting your personal life out there for people with the same struggles. I appreciate you man.
Thanks so much for posting these vids. I know others have said the same thing, but it's really nice to hear the journey from a guys perspective. I have my VSG surgery next month, May 22nd. I'm 56, 6'3, 374. Sometimes I feel like I've waited too long, but I am sure this is the right decision for me. The turning point was being put on Statin medication for high cholesterol 4 months ago. The label actually says "take 1 pill daily to reduce the chance of heart attack or stroke". That was really the turning point for me. Please keep posting these videos. Your inspiration is immeasurable!!
christopher4644 thanks for your kind words. I suffered a heart attack and that’s what really made my decision easy. You can do this. It’s never to late. It’s hard in the beginning but gets better everyday. Best decision I’ve ever made. God bless!

I'm going in for my surgery 22nd Nov. Thanks for sharing your story. I'm a father myself, so I relate to a lot of what you're saying. I'm looking forward to being more active with my kids, and can't wait to just generally being more comfortable getting around day to day. Your transformation is inspiring
