Don't mind me just laying in bed at 4am eating a whole pack of biscuits wondering where rent is gonna come from this month 🤣
We have curtains...we have doors and walls..so it will be 20k per night sir.
Amine Abdellatif ...and upstairs!
And mirrors! cant forget the nice mirrors!
And a TV that still has bezels :O how very 2013
@@LuDimezofKush it will cost you 17$ each second u spend looking at the 'luxurious' mirrors so Watch Out try to bypass them.
Is the whole penthouse is worth it
Is that the guy that does “4 hours laterrrrr” on Spongebob?
Ben Clark 🤣🤣😄sounds just like him
He sounds a lot like Timo Werner, I mean the manager guy.
@Simon Cowell lol, no I meant the hotel manager sounds like Werner
I can't unhear it 💀
I guess he is german
He said the published price is 20,000 which sounds as if no one really pays that much. Rich people like a discount as much as everyone else does.
Yeah but 20,000 won't be reduced to 200 😂
Not really. You are living in different world.
Customers of this suite living in ENDLESS MONEY world.
Everything is free for them as whatever they spend today... Will be replaced tomorrow by new money.
Endless money.
Like natural resources. Oil, gas, metals, wars. Corporations produce owners so much money that owner can't spend so much.
Next category of endless money is taxpayers.
You as head of the state can take whatever you want and leave taxpayers with bill.
If they refuse paying taxes to fund your lifestyle- then you send police or army to collect taxes.
Customer in this room often don't see the bill as simple servants take care of this paperwork nuisance.
Half year there is 3.7 millions.
Billion = 1000 millions.
For billionaires this is pocket money they don't even notice as some of them have cars or watches worth millions.
😂I really thought it said £20 per night. Crikey! I’d already started packing!
Hahahahaha 🤣
Mohammed Al Nayeem Did you book online too? They won’t give me my deposit back!😂
Did you ever get to see the inside of Claridges?
THAT is what you get for 20k? Sure, I get why it would cost a couple of thousand a night, but 20? I expected a lot more. It looks like you get a lot of stuff but none of it is all that luxurious.
That's not worth 20K at all!
Extremely overpriced for a just a couple of rooms and a terrace!!
I'm guessing that it's not booked every house, they have to make up for it by having high rates.
That's the London price for you
The room is 395sqm in total. An average 3 bed home is 88.
You get so much more than they showed in the video. There's a literal wine room.
@@cameroncook2048 he said 250
If your customer have endless money then you take whatever you can from this customer.
3.7 million for 180 days is pocket money for some.
Another millionaire hotel owner wants part of it 😉
A client stayed for 6 months?! That’s over 3 million 😭
The perks of being rich 😂
He can say what he likes ..good advertising.
That’s just for the room. They spent on shopping and restaurants as well!
He said 20,000 was the advertised rate, longer stays would be cheaper I imagine
His accent is as German as it gets.
"Plansch Pool" 😆
I'm 2:15 into a 3:31 clip and I have yet to see why its a 20k a night hotel.
1:13 camera crew in reflection of mirror.
"A client stayed for 6 months"
Rough maths, 6 months 182 days.
182 x 20k = £3,640,000.
RayoProductions probably earns that in a week to afford that for 6 months lol!
I'm sure he got a deal if he stayed for 6 months,it's still a RIDICULOUS amount of money though
2+2=4 quick maths
@@Mo-zx4ez what's that got to do with getting a deal ? Just cause royals stay doesn't mean they don't get a discount if they stay for a long time
Billionaire
It's a little cheap looking.
Yeh no one should go for it
New Rich Bling
I agree to use an old fashioned word I thought it looked "vulgar". If I could afford to stay there I would choose not to.
Rappers and pop-stars wouldn't know that it was vulgar.
I thought that
This guy used to be General Manager at Claridge’s
The mast suite is absolutely sublime! Enchanting views! Congratulations!
Really underwhelmed by the lack of amenities and how rich do you have to be to spend £3.6 million on a hotel stay.
Billionaire
Watched the first episode and learned that an afternoon tea can cost £65!!!
I work on Mayfair and I had sold a margarita for £80
Corinthia is a beautiful Hotel. Amazing service and the overall atmosphere is unmatched for me, but £20,000 per night is so steep for a penthouse.
If anyone visits Corinthia I would reccomend the Executive King which is only around £650 per night. I stayed for 5 nights and have no complaints. The location is great too! Only a 10 minute walk approx to see the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Also right next to a good tube station with a quick ride to London Bridge. (and the Spa is accessible within that price too)
thats crazy, but who asked?
I'd rather have a budget hotel or an Airbnb.
@@deepinside9477 I did. Now shut up.
😂 £650 a night??? nowhere is that nice
Hello. Would u be so kind to few hundred £ for a cleaner who had a road accident and broke arm and other injuries. Not able to work. If medical report and picture provided ? I can email hospital. ?
The only nice thing is the view from the roof.
1:45 hmm is that a flickering ceiling light I see for 20k /day???
No sometimes LED strip lights come off like that on camera it’s the same thing as in airplane bathrooms or cabins.
Kinda expected more for £20k
Thank you for this showing.
seriously no matter the amount of mirrors and gold they would cover the walls even if I had this kind of money I would feel awful to spend it on such a thing....knowing this money could have saved some others people lives. Its almost heartbreaking...
It's a life style that you grow into..getting used wealth. Lol
That's why you're poor😅🤣 but I'm with you and I would also prefer this.
Sadly when people become super rich they lose that part of humanity as they get accustomed to “the lifestyle” to them this is pocket change
Is it just me or does his voice sound a lil funky 😂😂😂
Anyone who spends £20K on one night in a hotel, regardless of how much they want to feel special, is a despicable person. In central London it's likely there's going to be someone sleeping rough less than 100 meters away, so just imagine how many people they could help if they did go for the £450 a night option and gave £19, 550 to a homeless charity!?
Jason gave a suggestion...and that's good
J.P. If they stay in this type of hotel . They do not know other people exist except those whom they exploit to get them their wealth. And they are just numbers in statistics . The corrupt on this planet are sufficient to fill hundreds of this type of place all over the World
LOWE sonia you do realise people can work for their money and earn it legally?
Or mybe they are giving more then 20 000 stop judging before knowing
Great idea but the problem lies with the charities themselves....they cream off the top and hand over whats left.
I also don't give to children in need or that bloody Bob Geldof band wagon live aid etc etc.....those villages are still without water after 30 years ??? Could have built bloody several dams with all that money raised over the years...lol
Africa = Don't bloody trust them
1:45 light above bath tub is flickering. Thomas isn't that eagle eyed!
Luke Gonzalez
It’s probably more to do with the camera’s frame/reset rate, as the light does look like an LED.
"First you are met and greeted by flowers".
I dont want talking flowers in my room.
They get far too garrulous after some liquid plant food.
For that price not only do I want them flowers to talk I want it to the mambo swing or I’m filing a complaint!! 😅
For £20,000 I'd expect a limo to take me around the City, a private concert featuring Tom Jones whilst Benedict Cumberbatch (
“Plunge pool”.... I love him 😂😂
i guess its "plantsch" coming from the word "plantschen" which is meaning like sitting in the water splashing it around like a little kid
Oh i have to take that back
I searched it up on google, i didnt know that the word "plunge pool" is actually existing in english 🙈
A guest once stayed there for 6 months he said? So that's like...around €3.6M?? Oh behave! 😗😏
Could of just bought a nice central London house?!
It’s pounds....
There would have to be a discounted rate agreed with hotel. He also said "Published rate".
That's more than the Royal suites at Claridge's and the Ritz together, with nowhere near the style. This is for people who need to show off how much they can spend. I bet the hotel car is a new Rolls Royce Phantom. The two go well together.
1:00 You know it's posh went it comes with a £2,900 bottle of Louis XIII cognac
Or you can go camping in North Wales, 24 pound per night, bargain. Also you get fantastic views.
For the stuck up, conceited , egotistical , narcissistic ,elitist ,person, but hey I don't judge its non of my business.
You could have wrapped it up with just one word…pretentious
Anyone else feel like he needs to say “what a COINCIDANCE”? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Does the room come with a butler, like at the Savoy? (@15K/night)
Those views are beautiful tbf
If you check in at 3pm and check out by 11am, It’s $0.69 per second per night
Gentlemen with a German accent 👍
You know a place is fancy when their hotelier is German with a lisp.
For some super rich, $200k to them is just like $200
I thought he was Mary Poppins.
which hotel is this ?
This is made for the world looters not a regular person.
Which hotel is this ?
Air B&B Mayfair Mansion for 10k @ night! Makes this place look like the peasants quarters! 👌🎩
The view is priceless!
She asked him to justify it and his response was "That's their choice" 😭 AKA There is NO justification
It’s a beautiful room but really quite obscene.
You could stay in the park plaza Westminster bridge penthouse with a better view and cheaper
Why the top managers are from German origin????it was tough for him to persuade us that it is worthy spend all this money in a night....
Looked and sounded like the bad guy in Peeping Tom.
What’s wrong with him being German origin? I had stayed in Bvlgari in Dubai and the front desk had British managers in them! Even JW Marriott in Singapore has British manager
lolo
totally agree with Jason Peters below!
Me throughout the video thinking about the Arnold ish accent of the dude.
Meet me at the London
I guarantee that the night staff have stayed in that suite overnight and enjoyed all the facilities.
In all honesty if you can afford to drop that kind of money on a hotel room how can you ever appreciate anything if you can have it at a moments notice
I can't lie that penthouse was absalutely GORGEOUS!! Especially the balcony!
Well now I feel hella poor
I still don't see why it's that much... Nothing too special.
Because some people like to spend disgusting amounts of money just because they can.
Many wealthy people are charitable. Lets not forget that anyone earning over 100,000 annually is on a higher tax freshold. For instance someone on 100,000 annually would bring home. £67, 049. Due to to the 40%. Someone over £125,000 would fall into a tax trap because after £125000 you gradually lose your £12,570 income tax Personal Allowance, pound by pound. the tax is extortionate.
People who are high earners generally work very hard for their money. In life noone is entitled to your property or money. For instance someone who earns more than me isnt obligated to give me anything simply as i have less. And i dont expect them to.We cant decide how someone else chooses to spend their money. For myself having a fiver makes me feel like a millionaire. But for the wealthy maybe 20000 might be like 20 quid for them.
budget for rent, staff, electricity, security is £3000 per night at most, profit is £17000 lol
His client still don't know about Airbnb??
Isnt he the guy from the claridges doc
If I was standing there with this guy actually on this tour I’d be lmao!! Mary Poppins view? LOLOLOL
Omg...20k is 1 big house!
¿Where is the lift?
Do you have a bottle of Chateau Cheval Blanc 1947?
He reckons one client stayed for 6 months at 20k per night.
Thats 3.64 million.
You could buy an apartment close by for that. So why would you stay here instead?
the published price is £20,000 a night - meaning they may discount, and block bookings will likely get reductions, though who knows in that particular case.
Did he leave claridges?
Money
Laundering
Yeh it's a tactics of money laundering
It's not a discount the rich like they right off under a business expense. Basically a business account pays and tax is claimed back on that outgoing
20K for beige decor...
I wonder if they replace the bed mattresses for that price...?? Just the thought of knowing hundreds of people have slept on the same bed.... yuk
Fabulous luxury at a cost and if they who can afford it go for it l don't begrudge them. However l wish they would give me £20.000 so l could afford all my bills every month my pension hardly covers and now I am having to use my savings to boost my monthly bills. £20.000 a night l wish.
Art, style, decoration etc. is all good and subjective. But what I immediately notice is the tech and gadgets. How can you have a worse TV than I have at home (and at a smaller size)? And the wiring on the dest with the lamp and phone looks bad. Everything else looks classy. But get real and good brand TVs like Sony or Samsung and bigger size. The one in the bathroom looks like a large intercom screen...
Mixed feelings about this programme I saw on BBC the other day. Great hotel though.
Enjoy
Give it to charity, I have mixed feelings about this
You told me the price, tell me the name of the hotel!
If you had read the description, you'd see it says, "Take a glimpse inside the luxury Corinthia Hotel".
No elevator?! LOL
awesomr
i expect a private pool with this suite and a place to keep my pony
even if i was rich i wouldnt spend anywhere near that much for a night in a hotel it is just stupid
Definitely not worth 20k a night 😭
Even I don't have that money whole of my budget is less than that insha Allah God will give me blessed wealth
20k a night, they must be smoking crack.
For that price, I can buy a brand new car.
Who wants to look at themselves eating food that’s probably the worst time to look in the mirror
you sound like Rainier Wolfcastle (from the Simpsons)
30 x 6 x 20,000 quid = 3.6Million
You’re telling me someone spent six months in that suite for £20,000 a night when they could have helped thousands with that amount of money by giving to charity??
Its their earned money, they can do whatever they want with it
@@tia3065 lol. Tell that to the Saudi prince who's only job was winning birth lottery and was born into endless money.
Twenty grand for a night in a hotel! I wouldn't sleep a wink in case I'd miss something. You know if I had that mentality I'd fuckin drown myself!
The curtains remind me of a funeral home.....
A stunning
So somebody payed 3.6 mil. pounds to stay there for six months?
Meh looks like contemporary trash. Ditto with that awful afternoon tea experience they have. Afternoon tea is supposed to be a unique British experience, made specially for the individual ordering it [or so the individual thinks]. Instead, their contemporary tea sets don’t seem remotely quaint or British, and the experience itself seemed like mass-produced rubbish. A lot of the impact is lost when cakes are brought around on a trolley, alongside a few dozen other identical cakes. The unique experience suddenly becomes a cake buffet. Definitely not worth the price charged for it.
Only people who can’t afford it are complaining on this thread. £20k per night for a very rich person who wants to enjoy luxury, with their friends/family in the best part of town isn’t that bad. Go on rented homes in London, some mouldy flats are rented at over 100k per week in Knightsbridge and there’s no spa, restaurant or staff at your door plus top security. Some people actually make more than £20k per day in interest alone.
it is a sales promotion !?
most likely !
Yeah I’ll stay a night…but lemme me apply for a night job in that hotel first 😂 worth losing my job after for the bragging rights 😂
Eeeh that room needs a renovation 👀
I don't see it
