- Claridges in London spent 7 years renovating their hotel. In our last video we explored the massive 5-storey basement extension. In part two, we explain how they renovated the rooftop by adding 4 more storeys and a £100,000 a night penthouse supersuite!

This level of quality is what I expect from B1M videos.
Thanks for the great comparison!
Loved it!
There are so many Boutique hotels that are just/or more "enchanting"
Very nice hotel.
Wow, i remember working there in the late 80s
Amazing!
So different to how it used to be. I can remember it from the sixties, when I used to visit with my parents.
So a lot of guest had to hear NOISE? for the ultra rich, to enjoy amenities, TWO years later?
From my understanding the work noise was kept to an absolute minimum but at times the builders just needed to get their work done. I'm sure they were working during normal hours but I guess that disturbed the guests who wanted to sleep in 😂
Guests are paying a HEFTY fee, for a luxe accommodation, to be disturbed by construction that will not particularly benefit them! Hope they were notified of possible Noise, and warned they could change days of stay ....
We have stayed there- and Loved every minute--But Construction Noise? Yikes.
A 5cm pond on the roof of a London hotel is not a lake.
What amazing information! We are amazed by this video
So you just stole all of this from the BBC documentary?
that carpet is eugh. Why not put the piano Inside?
The "lake" pond is a massive waste of unusable space.
even if you know how much money was spent on this super appartement, it look designer-studied and boring - devoid of any fantasy and surprise...
I agree. But then, the people who stay there are probably only aware of how much they are spending and not the quality of the design.
for people with more money than taste
Oh London City Council as Always, They Have No Idea , This is Tourism , Dopes 🙈👎
No such thing as "London City Council", there are many councils that control different boroughs across London. Claridges is within the borough of Westminster City Council.
No immigrants inside that one
Only the staff.
This is ridiculous.
Claridges, the hotel that hates English flags. Has room for far too many union flags. But no English flags being located in England.
