Hats off to the legend Jim Mac for this work 💪 you don’t need a main contractor to mess things up and cost more money right ? You need the right man for the right job 🙏💪
I'd love to live in a house with a basement too. The problem is they're so expensive build and you can run into any number of problems when you start excavating.
The first frontal picture at the beginning of this info is not the Claridge's - but the old Knightsbridge Hotel right next to Hyde Park, with the Rotten Row entrance. It is (was) now run by the Taj Mahal (?) Group.
I just watched the second episode on broadcast TV where I live. The bit (in the newly excavated basement) where they were worried about whether or not the new horizontal shaft would align up with the previously dug vertical shaft seemed overly dramatic to me. Jesus, all they needed to do was drive a small diameter steel pipe through the clay and observe where it emerged in the vertical shaft. If it's perfectly centred they'll know they're going to come out in the right spot. If it's not perfectly centred, then compensate the digging angle to allow for that. Not exactly rocket science.
Eles fizeram a obra direito! Não tremeu os prédios à sua volta, não afetaram a infraestrutura de nem um edifício e não fizeram uma barulheira infernal, eles só fizeram a obra. A parte não tão agradável é que se Londres inundar o mega porão será um ótimo açude para a água.
Why didn’t you credit the original production company for the use of their footage? Apart from the v/o (that’s “voice over” in case you’re wondering)… non of this is your work. You should give credit where it’s due. And not let those that don’t know, think any of this footage or the graphics you used, were in any way attributed to you.
That was an impressive feat! Fair play to the Donegal miners 👏👏👏👏
Loved it
800 subs! Congrats and keep the amazing content coming!
Thank you!

Aaaaaaabsolutely fascinating! I just love multi-level basements and I wish I could find more out there in regular homes

Very true! Maybe they needed to add a bit of drama 😂
