Most people your age aren't even close to being settled. I just love watching the two of you work together, love each other, respect each other, be together. It seems your path is being mutually walked hand in hand with God's grace. Never lose what you have now! You are wonderful role models for your children. A great contribution to this ugly world. You make me smile😊 ❤❤ God Bless you two, your family and your farm. ✝️🙏♾️👑❤️🇺🇸🙏🐝🐾🌹🪻🌻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏 Prayers for all of you !!

Your garden is amazing and well thought out. I have a crazy garden myself. All I have to grow on is concrete. I have baby pools a d growbags in 4 lines with about 4 or 5 baby pools in each one. I have 2 baby gates that have become trellis for my zucchini and squash to grow up on. I pray over my garden continuously for it to grow and be able to harvest from. I am planning to dehydrate and can everything I can from it. May Our Devine Creator bless and keep you in all you do.

Hey y'all, I love Misty's problem with plants. I got the same problem. I propagate, seed start, forage, trade and swap with folks. I do get most everything for free this way. I take all my pots and containers and they all get dumped into the compost bins and this I refill them from the finished amended compost. I buy very little and I never throw anything away. I always find another use for everything.
I live in Minnesota now and the growing is a challenge with space and limited growing season. I got all kinds of okra and green tomatoes all summer long for frying lunches with. I can, pickle, ferment, freeze and dehydrate everything. It is a year around job organizing the schedule so all spaces are used to the maximum, things finish into to be preserved stored and repeat as I do succession sow all along.
What kind of corn are you growing there? Y'all are doing a great job there. I am very impressed. God bless y'all please be safe this summer!! bye for now

Misty, I'm loving The Mac's Life channel... It's so great to spend time with you in the every day stuff of life. Great tour today~! Even in the Midwest ( I am zone 6a), I have to work with a garden that is half shade and half full sun, so knowing where and what to plant is crucial to getting a good harvest. Thankfully, there is a pretty even balance of plants/foods that can be grown in those different environments. Really awesome seeing the Cherokee's germinated and growing! :) That was fun, as I have never seen it done right after cleaning them out of a tomato, and I have always dried them to use for the next year. Really cool! Thanks for a wonderful video! Have a great week!

Thank you for sharing. What a blessing to your family. I hope others realize they don't need a large acreage like you have. A few boxes on a patio will also yield a lot of food and herbs. You are both an encouragement to lots of people. We raised 11 blessings with multiple food allergies and had to make everything (including ketchup) from scratch. Plus we homeschooled. It can be done. Turn off the tv and phones and enjoy the fruits of your labor.

I call your Pineapple Guava a Feijoa here in NZ and Australia. Love the fruit but wait until the fruit falls before picking it up. picking the fruit leaves you trying to ripen and that can be fun. The plant grows well from cuttings or if you get a ripe fruit just squeeze the seeds onto a paper towel and put that onto a container of potting mix and thinly cover it. the seeds will germinate like hairs on a dogs back

The ants were eating my strawberries so I moved them to greenstalk and most died. Hoping I can find more starts.

      Keep trying!!
Distrusting the ants over and over will make them eventually move

Great video guys. Have you ever tried planting crimson clover and when it blooms, cut it in and plant your corn. The clover produces natural nitrogen. I watch a guy name Micah McKee at mcgee homstead adventures and he has great results.
