Thanks you,
Love this video! I completely understand Misty's passion for her garden and greenhouse. Please do more videos like this from time to time.
This video was incredible! Colby and Misty I love your garden. God bless you and your family and all those watching this video. Have a blessed Memorial day❤🙏
I'm glad you two are as young as you are and have kids to help.
GOD BLESS YOU TWO AND FAMILY. Blows my mind of all the hard work. Y'all have got it together ❤️
You both compliment each other working together ❤️
I briefly knew a Misty from Bessemer, and had an uncle Lamar. When I see you, you remind me of her. She was so sweet. Y'all are definitely blessed.
Thank you Misty for the garden tour, I love how you are maximizing many types of propagation and garden styles. A girl after my own heart!
You two go together so well. ❤❤ You think alike. Work hard. Are about God and family. Everything about you are two kindred spirits. Soul mates. And oh so smart and sensible. Most people your age aren't even close to being settled. I just love watching the two of you work together, love each other, respect each other, be together. It seems your path is being mutually walked hand in hand with God's grace. Never lose what you have now! You are wonderful role models for your children. A great contribution to this ugly world. You make me smile😊 ❤❤ God Bless you two, your family and your farm. ✝️🙏♾️👑❤️🇺🇸🙏🐝🐾🌹🪻🌻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏 Prayers for all of you !!
Indeed!
You two are an inspiration. May Lord continue to bless you and your family!
Better than a day at the beach or a cookout, this video was awesome! Lots of hard work for both of you but look what you've accomplished! So proud for yall and praying God's continued blessings! Now, I wanna plant strawberries around my asparagus! Thanks to all who have served or gave their all on this Memorial day!💜🙏
I loved this so much! Everyone says I’m crazy for planting so much this year but I feel sane now 😂 and I can’t wait to start my medicinal flower garden next year! And the best part is that it’s not JUST practical… it’s also enjoyable
Yes!!
Your garden is amazing and well thought out. I have a crazy garden myself. All I have to grow on is concrete. I have baby pools a d growbags in 4 lines with about 4 or 5 baby pools in each one. I have 2 baby gates that have become trellis for my zucchini and squash to grow up on. I pray over my garden continuously for it to grow and be able to harvest from. I am planning to dehydrate and can everything I can from it. May Our Devine Creator bless and keep you in all you do.
Hey y'all, I love Misty's problem with plants. I got the same problem. I propagate, seed start, forage, trade and swap with folks. I do get most everything for free this way. I take all my pots and containers and they all get dumped into the compost bins and this I refill them from the finished amended compost. I buy very little and I never throw anything away. I always find another use for everything.
I live in Minnesota now and the growing is a challenge with space and limited growing season. I got all kinds of okra and green tomatoes all summer long for frying lunches with. I can, pickle, ferment, freeze and dehydrate everything. It is a year around job organizing the schedule so all spaces are used to the maximum, things finish into to be preserved stored and repeat as I do succession sow all along.
What kind of corn are you growing there? Y'all are doing a great job there. I am very impressed. God bless y'all please be safe this summer!! bye for now
You're doing an amazing job! It's sweet corn!
That's a lot of Asparagus! Loving the garden.
Misty, I'm loving The Mac's Life channel... It's so great to spend time with you in the every day stuff of life. Great tour today~! Even in the Midwest ( I am zone 6a), I have to work with a garden that is half shade and half full sun, so knowing where and what to plant is crucial to getting a good harvest. Thankfully, there is a pretty even balance of plants/foods that can be grown in those different environments. Really awesome seeing the Cherokee's germinated and growing! :) That was fun, as I have never seen it done right after cleaning them out of a tomato, and I have always dried them to use for the next year. Really cool! Thanks for a wonderful video! Have a great week!
Thank you! And you're right! Placement is very important! I've learned that the hard way 🥴
We have a small prison garden. So many deer that our garden is raised and fenced. Yes, I do feed the deer, so I’m not complaining. We have raised cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens. I love your farm❤️ wish I was 30 years younger😊
What a beautiful garden/homestead! The amount of hard work that your family has put into this is incredible. Thank you for sharing with us!
I love the garden, have to show this to my husband he thinks i go a little overboard with growing my garden, but i love it!!
I don’t know if I’m worried about Missy mental health or just in love. 😅
Love this video, as well as all the other’s I have watched so far (just found you on my feed).
Coby, Misty, God Bless you and your family.
Thank you for sharing.
Yes, I’d like to watch your older videos. They will show me how you came to be where you are now.
Wow. I only have a 100 by 32. Enjoy it before you get old like me. Awww to be 30 again.
I enjoy the book you referenced. I use it quite frequently! Thank you for sharing that we need to research what pairs with what for a healthy stable garden. So important to know and help us, also, to have an organic self-sustaining life-style! God’s blessings upon your family, as always!
My goodness. You will be busy in July with all the corn, beans and tomatoes galore. Great spaces. Thanks for the tour.
Just planted my garden yesterday. I took what I learned from watching you. I have two new Elderberry plants started from cuttings. Thank you for passing on your knowledge.God bless!
Great job!!!!
Thank you for sharing your amazing gardens with us. In that short time, also learned about companion planting, which ones work well together, methods and areas that help to grow well and the encouragement that we Can grow our own food
You have the most beautiful farm! I believe its the best life!
Great tour. I didn't know Colby works full time as well. Impressive.
Thank you for sharing. What a blessing to your family. I hope others realize they don't need a large acreage like you have. A few boxes on a patio will also yield a lot of food and herbs. You are both an encouragement to lots of people. We raised 11 blessings with multiple food allergies and had to make everything (including ketchup) from scratch. Plus we homeschooled. It can be done. Turn off the tv and phones and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
That is amazing!!!
I would love to hear your homeschool schedule in your daily schedule. How do you keep up with it all?
During the month of August to April we do school from 9-12 Monday - Friday
I split the greenhouse/ garden chores with inside work like cleaning and laundry after lunch
@@TheMacsLife0 ok.. that sounds good. We usually start in September but might start in August this year as well.
Love y’all! Thanks for sharing and always inspiriting!!!
I love it all! I don't know what my neighbors are going to think but I have started gardening in my yard with raised beds.
My little front porch container vegetable/herb garden sitting on a single long folding table pales by comparison, plus I'm very slow to learn about gardening, what to do for my plants when, how to handle pests, etc., but I enjoy seeing all your hard work and learning more from you. THANK YOU, Misty and Colby!
God bless the Macs!
WOW!!!!! That is all I can say!!! God Bless!!!
We finally finished our garden here in Ohio this passed weekend we have planted tomatoes 🍅 zucchini cucumbers 🥒 3 different peppers 🌶️ and fruit
Yay!!!
God bless your sweet family. 🙏❤
g right now and give everyone that will take them a few mangos. I took two nice bags to church and the people gabbed them up. I will take more next week, My son took a basket full and peeled and froze them. If you can raise citrus in your greenhouse you might be able to raise bananas
This was amazing! One of my favorite videos you've done so far because it gives me a goal. A far away goal but still a goal. Thank you guys for all the time you put into making such great content for people like me who are learning.
🇦🇺Your garden looks amazing.
Wow just wow. That’s a lot of plants/food. Almost gave me anxiety. And yet it did encourage me to want to plant stuff in different areas. Only on a much smaller scale.
👏
Evening y’all
Loved the tour of your garden and found comfort in knowing the gardens don't have to be perfect. I'm constantly scrutinizing my gardens to make them look perfect. Niw i can let go if that stress.
I feel like that from time to time too
Absolutely beautiful!! ⭐⭐⭐❤❤🙏🏼🙏🏼xxoo
I loved watching this video. God bless you and your family.
Proud of you guys!
Y’all are very inspirational!
Suggestion: get a lapel mic for consistent audio. The garden seems great. You have put a ton of work into it.
So impressive and inspiring! So appreciate you sharing!!!
I absolutely love this garden door. I wish you would pick one herb and Do a video on how to use it and actually do a step-by-step tutorial
That's one my list
Be sure to check out my Step by step Usnea tincture vid
Well done! Good growers . Thank you for a great video. Picking up tips from UK Christian ❤️🙏🕊️ x
Loved the garden tour! Gave me lots of ideas. I grow a huge garden, lots of variety. Getting into herbs this year. I agree, if it’s a priority you’ll find a way.
Wow 🤩 Love it! Beautiful!
Thanks so much for sharing!💜🙏🏼
O my gosh I am so jealous of your green house. Your gardens are amazing. 💖🐝💖
Enjoy both of your channels
Thanks for the tour! So many wonderful plants!
Both of you are so inspiring!!!!
I just love Y'all! I grew up in Pensacola FL but now live in West Virginia in farm country. Love all your ideas. Wonderful gardens!
Howdy from East Texas! Wonderful video of your gardens!
You guys are incredible.
I enjoy your videos. I’m local and great to see things shown in our area. I am subscribed and watch all the videos from both of your channels.
Absolutely stunning...thank you for sharing guys... And Misty if there was ever a problem to be had ...this is the best one 😁
I have the same problem 😁
Much love from Australia 🦘💞
You folks are amazing.
I really enjoy watching your videos! You have the most beautiful farm/0asis!!!
I loved your garden tour. I need to watch this again I love how you have so many areas for your plants. I need to do this. Thanks for sharing, lisa
What a great green house!
You are both awesome. Keep up the good work…you are so motivating 🫶
Those are some big area gardens...woweeding thos would be a full time job..and with no weed killer..good luck..I see that you used some mulch in some areas and I think having the raised gardens help with some of that weeds that blow around..but still amazing that you can keep up with that much area..Great Job..GBY ML
New subscriber here. I love your content. I just started this garden channel and look forward to growing in this community
Great gardens y’all!!
I’m watching your commercials too. ❤
You sound like me! Lol we have blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, peach, pear, apple and just planted 2 fig today. Of course we have our regular garden. I pulled Basil, Oregano, Rosemary, sage, pineapple sage, and parsley out of the freeze dryer this morning. Man my house smells great!
👏
As Misty says it looks overwhelming, but I am on my 2nd summer of planting, and enjoying trying new with the old. I have r only two small plots and several containers full that I am open g a small stand to supplement my income here shortly. It just keeps getting better, and in a few weeks, out God's the broccoli and onions and in with the sweet potatoes! Thanks Misty and Colby!
👏
Truly enjoyed this and learned about some different plants as well. Thank you so much.
Love to see all your gardens
WOW !!!
Impressive indeed and definitely see your passion for self sustained food production. God Bless you all and thank you for sharing your life with us. Amazing teachers ❤️
To grow your corn use the fish you get Native American use fish to grow corn in really poor ground
I call your Pineapple Guava a Feijoa here in NZ and Australia. Love the fruit but wait until the fruit falls before picking it up. picking the fruit leaves you trying to ripen and that can be fun. The plant grows well from cuttings or if you get a ripe fruit just squeeze the seeds onto a paper towel and put that onto a container of potting mix and thinly cover it. the seeds will germinate like hairs on a dogs back
Amazing garden! I can be thankful for what we have. Maybe some year it will be in a different place where we can have more variety.😊
So true!! Every tiny step is a step in the right direction
This is the first video I watched on this channel (I usually watch the other one), and I am hooked!! Love you two!! Thank you for sharing all of this!! ❤
Thank you so much!
Wow just wow!
Great job filming and editing.
LOVE Y’ALL!! Was a wonderful tour video. Lots of info as usual. ❤
WOW!!!!!
Can you give us some pointers on how to heat a greenhouse? What temperature/humidity should remain inside? How do you vent the greenhouse? Do you still need grow lights for seed starting? I think the greenhouse is my next project and I have so many questions! Thank you!
Mine is just insulted well
It works well for our area bc we don't have really harsh winters here but if it drops into the teens which isn't every often - I'll put heaters in my greenhosue to keep the temperature above freezing
Humidity here is very high -
I went my greenhouse in the summer with a box fan
Wowie that's super impressive. I'm so happy for you. Lots of love from New Zealand
Great ideas from this video, thank you!
My grandson had bell pepper plants growing for four years. Oh by the way we live in Minnesota
Wow that's a lot of gardening 😅😅😊😊
Love the garden tour!!! Thank you ❤
Can you give us homeschooling info, please? Are you under an Umbrella? Do you use books or online? Ect
Thank you so much for all you share with us! I know it comes from the heart. I loved seeing the tour of your garden.
Have a safe trip to the homesteaders event!
We do both some dvd programs and some books
We have a huge variety of ages so they do different schoolwork
I absolutely love this video.
The ants were eating my strawberries so I moved them to greenstalk and most died. Hoping I can find more starts.
Keep trying!!
Distrusting the ants over and over will make them eventually move
Thank you for all ur knowledge you share … God bless ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏
Beautiful!
WOW
Good evening 💞
I love your family guys!!
Great video guys. Have you ever tried planting crimson clover and when it blooms, cut it in and plant your corn. The clover produces natural nitrogen. I watch a guy name Micah McKee at mcgee homstead adventures and he has great results.
We do have a cover crop that has some clover
Wow you both have a beautiful garden and greenhouse all the hard work you do really pays off for your family. God Bless.
We're I live there are a lot of wild meds for people they just don't know what there looking for . Were you live you can grow all theses plants. I live were we get feet of snow in the winter.that why I need a good built green house so I can grow in the winter mouths. Vegetables up here in the winter mouths are insane
Very nice, a goal to work towards. Enjoy!!❤
