Whoever is putting you onto this has quite the ear 👂 😁😏😘
Too many people don’t know about this band. To me, the the greatest band ever assembled. Thank you for suggesting this, you sir, are what they call a “Real One.”
Thanks for doing the Waiting for Columbus version. One of the best live albums of all time. Not a bad song on it. Check out Mercenary Territory off of this album.
Mercenary is a KILLER groove !!!!! 😎
OK, NOW we’re talking! Loves me some Feat!
Probably the most underrated live album out there. Little Feat live is stunning but when you add the horn section from Tower of Power you're in a whole nother world.
Still waiting for a video genius to do justice to this song.
Three years later, it's been done. Just search for the song, and you'll find great animated video with many Little Feat easter eggs. Enjoy, fellow Feater!
My favorite from them is "dixie chicken". But this whole album is truly great. Please also listen to "Willin'", "fatman in a bathtub", "mercenary territory" & "rocket in my pocket". A great album.
Don’t forget “Skin it Back” !! That song’s a whole groove
I still love their lesser known first record.
What's missing is being able to see the band walk offstage one at a time at the end
They're still together, but the lead singer guitarists Lowell George past away in the late 70's. Lowell was truly the leader of the band. Listen to "Dixie Chicken" please, you won't be disappointed.
Fat Man in the Bath Tub.
Paul Barrerre died this year and Richie Hayward a few years ago.
this band has every element to bring the funk!
bout time people on these channels are finding their way to this awesome band.
Oh Hell YEAH! LOWELL MFN GEORGE! As lit as the Milkyway!
In case you missed it in the song, for this tour Little Feat was backed up by the Tower of Power horn section.
Love Little Feat! Two Trains, Fat Man in the Bathtub are two of my favs by them.
Don't forget Dixie Chickens
Now hit the Meters and maybe the Neville Brothers”yellow Moon”
OMG YES!
Absolutely love little feat. So funky. Anytime it comes on the jukebox at my bar I'm singing along
The baddest horns in the land the Tower If Power horn section. What a funky rhythm section of Gradney on bass Clayton on congas and Hayward on drums filled with Payne on keys and of course Barre and Lowell on guitars and vocals. Please welcome Little Feat
The best party band of the 70's.. Thank you for reacting to this!
“Fat man in the bathtub” is a must song
For sure!
My goodness! I love, love, love this song! The way it breaks down to just the bass and drums at the end gives me the chills every time I hear it! Did I mention that I LOVE THIS SONG?
Willin' is my favorite Little Feat song ever......on this same album I believe
Yup same album has a version of it. I believe it is slower than the one recorded in the studio
THIS is the good stuff!!
Now move on to "Tower of Power". You've heard the horns, now hear the rest of the band. Start with What is hip?
Dixie Chicken. Dixie Chicken. Dixie Chicken.
Ever hear of Earth Wind and Fire? If not, you have now. They're providing the brass in this cut.
And, by the way: This is Rock and Roll, this isn't church music. R&R isn't from legitimate society.
Never was. Never will. If you're listening to "mainstream rock" guess what...it ain't the real deal.
That's a double live album with nothing but lights out songs. It is incomparable!
Talking about cocaine. The lead singer and creator of the band, Lowell George, died of an accidental overdose at 34. RIP
Not even fair.. heard it my whole life.. older brothers 👍🏻❤️💪🏻
You have good taste in music. Little Feat was/is the best! They’re still touring with a couple of new members. Still great.
Now listen to dixie chicken from this album
We partyed way harder in the 70s
try get ready by rare earth live at the burning man festival
Sooo under-rated
One of the greatest American Rock Bands! They were born out of Frank Zappa’s Mother’s of Invention. This whole album with the ToP horns is one of my fav live albums. Check out “Fat Man in the Bathtub” off this album too!
Horns provided by The Tower of Power
Love the way you say Videeooo, Headphooones, WaOoone! UhHuh You rock Jayyheeeyy!
If you get the time darlin', listen to the album in it's entirety. It's a great time capsule of the group at that stage. Try Live at Neon Park for a capsule of the second iteration of the group.
Loved Little Feat were huge in the 70's DC area loved them
Coldest end to a great song EVER!
Tower of power horn section
I've been listening to Little Feat for 50 years. Since high school.
Me too Blake !
Me too.
The best times I have ever had are in places like the Spanish Moon. It is sentimental to me.
Good tavern in Cincinnati.
Hoot Owl up in trees.
Great choice!
Full Band.
Thy lit.
Live!
OH YEAAAAAAAHHHH !!!
I was living in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at U. N. C. Chapel Hill in 1978. We got high every single day. My closet friend got this L. P. He had a system that sounded so great and so loud. Lowell George is the lead singer. I absolutely hated the day he died., but he was a hard partier also.
It's amazing I'm still alive.
By God's Grace.
Just your average band that plays so tight they know how to play loose. GREAT bar band!
Billy Preston Outta Space check it!
Whats the address of the Spanish Moon? And how about those Tower of Power horns!
Kudos to whomever guided you to Little Feat. 👏 The natural progression now would be The Black Crowes.
Funkiest recording ever made
☮️💜
