As a kid I owned Sonic and Knuckles, but not Sonic 3 at first. I didn't get Sonic 3 until after I had beaten S&K a few times so the S&K zones and special stages always seemed to easy to me and the Sonic 3 zones and special stages were more difficult. I still have the S&K special stages in my memory better than the Sonic 3 ones.
