Very honored to have played a role in your love for watches, Alexander! Thanks for the support!

This might be your best of the series so far: sure, more money to spend means more choice, fair enough, but I think that this entry's variety of watches and mix of suggestions was really well-considered and overall excellent
I do agree
For the best bang for your buck... at $9000 you should buy 1 rugged sports watch with a dark dial and water resistance of 100+ meters and 1 thin dress watch with a silver/white/champagne dial--both preowned, both from mid-to-upper-tier brands like Omega or JLC, both under 5 years old but in near-mint conditions. With some patience and luck, you can build a killer 2-watch collection that is essentially worth double what you pay and covers all occasions and matches all types of clothing. And make sure the sports watch is one that looks good with both bracelet and strap.
Example:
-Omega Seamaster and Cartier Tank Solo
-Tudor BB58 and JLC Ultra Thin Date
-Breitling Super Ocean and Omega De Ville
I really like your take on getting best value!
It might not resonate with everyone, but I believe you are right about getting a hell of a bargain, with the right patience and a bit of luck.
What do you think of the Speedmaster 3861 as a one watch collection? Looking for something that looks good on a bracelet and can be dressed up or down and I think it ticks those boxes.
@@Jayy_Arra Speedmaster is a good 1-watch collection in every way except this: its water resistance is only 50 meters, so you can't swim with it or do activities in a lot of rain. Otherwise it's great.
One watch will be a ROLEX , that is the only trophy.
You can get mudmasters to screw around.
Don't screw up the grail.
@@sanghoonlee5171 im confused, why would you not be able to swim with a 50m resistant watch if most people typically swim in much shallower waters than that? also isn't 50m water pressure much more demanding than rain?
Amazing - thanks for making these videos. I just purchased a new piece around this budget, and your work is truly helpful!
It's always great to learn about watches. I dig that you give love to so many brands and prices. A true gentleman and expert.
Love these list, way out of my budget but you could always dream. Keep up the good work, Teddy.
Wow your videos are always so well done and informative. This one was excellent as I sipped my morning coffee, occasionally glancing down at my SARB035. Have a great weekend!
Teddy, this was a well balanced take at this price range and a big help for anyone who's in need of some advice. Job well done!
Teddy, I love all the different watches you show off, the market is so much broader than I thought before watching your videos,
My daily watch is a Le Forban Malouine, gorgeous little French navy watch you should check it out!
Finally the Titoni Seascoper ! glad you found it and appreciate how awesome it is Teddy, that watch has been on my radar since release to be honest.
i bought the Seiko 5 ssk1 GMT, and i could honestly say this is a wonderful watch. i feel like the Seiko GMT is what the Rolex master 2 was when it was first released. a good travel watch thats reasonably priced. you have to pick this up Teddy
that "white birch" grand seiko was absolutely stunning! Makes me think of the few birch trees growing around my childhood home and how interesting I thought they were.
Love this series! Thanks Teddy!
I LOVE the my High Beat White Birch. Absolutely stunning, versatile and light play is exquisite. The New Movement is ground breaking tremendously accurate. Finishing second to none. Pure Class.
I love these! Can’t wait to see the higher $$ releases. By the way, always learning something new watching your channel. I’ve never heard of a ‘regulator’ watch.
Love the collection videos. Keep up the great work Teddy
Teddy….we need another “non-watch people react to….” Video! Just love those!
Wow, there are some great choices here, Teddy. The ‘Tick All the Boxes’ group, especially. Cool video, thanks!
Teddy- I subscribe to a couple dozen watch utubers, and always turn to your channel for variety, excellent details, and quick moving content. Thank you for a well done and excellent channel
A great video Teddy with some very interesting options from different brands. Not sure what category I come under as I like my smart dress watch for me personally I wear either my GS Snowflake or Rolex Date Just O/G or a Gucci (don't laugh it's a lovely quartz watch which means a lot to me), if I'm out and about with the grandchildren I wear the Tudor Black Bay S/G as it's tough and has no problems with getting wet. I'm now looking to add a GMT movement to my list and I'm stuck between the Tudor Pro or the Longines Zulu Time, a tough choice. Keep up these great videos they are so useful.
Dear Teddy, Love your videos. Would you please revisit “Small wrist watches” maybe for 2022. Also, would you highlight some watches with smaller Lug to Lug?
Great video as all your offerings are. I enjoy this format it's informative and good fun. Although I would just say: an 8k Breitling navitimer with 30m water resistance as an only watch would terrify me!
Stunning collections, I loved the spirit Zulu with the GS....
This is my favorite series from you guys
Great video Teddy. I own a few Vincero watches. What are your thoughts on Vincero watches?
I’m fine with my five watches, if I have more I wouldn’t use them all. I leve to spend time with them. Thanks Teddy for a very interesting video again.
Nice vid. Now the IWC Mark XX is available with an in house movement and 5 days of power reserve, almost at the same price as the Mark XVIII, check it out. Cheers.
Love this video, super helpful to expand my watch collection. Right now my “collection” would be a Tissot Le Locle and a Nomos Tangente. Good to see some more affordable options to include here. I think my collection would already be bigger though if my wrists weren’t too damn small lol
I hope after 10k it comes 15k and 20k. These videos are my favorite! Thanks Teddy!
Thank you very mutch, great compilaton. All of that watches has their right to exist, and there is something for every budget.👍
Awesome as usual Teddy
This is how watch collecting will appeal to the average person and grow the amount of people collecting. Great video.
That Titoni looks like a great affordable version of the O. Glashutte SeaQ. Love it!
Thank you Teddy, for this most interesting series that I have been following since its beginning.
I do miss in it one more collector type: the one that will use the given budget to purchase a bigger number of more affordable watches.
True, dealing with him may render the video too long, but as allocating, for example, 500 USD per watch with a 9K USD budget, surely enables one to go about watch collecting using far more elaborate strategies, it will be most interesting for me to learn what choices you will be making using that formula.
Finally !!! My favourite series
VERY interesting video !!!
This is a great topic, though I would think that for the latter categories, it is best that you could provide at least 2 sets of collection to let people compare between different angles you can look at the amount of money. I know it's a long vid and a lot of watches are mentioned, but different perspectives, even from the same persona, are always nice. Keep up the good work.
Omega PO for dress / business, Longines Hydroconquest as an everyday, and a Seiko SSK GMT as a beater. Great video Teddy.
I8
Great one-watch collection choice--but I'm biased. I have one watch--the White Birch. I love it. Hopefully, expanding the collection soon. Great recommendations!
I am closer to the “check off the box” persona than the others, although I can sympathize with much of the others. For example, my “one watch” is part of my collection; if I had it rid all but one of my watches, I know which one to keep-won’t bother mentioning for the sake of this discussion since it is well over $9K.
I have my everyday beater/sports/diver as well, in the BB58. The Rolex OP no date I believe also fits the bill of a versatile do-it-all that can also be worn as a dress watch.
I do believe in having every base covered and I’m having a good variety as it pertains to both aesthetics and complications. So something with a chrono, another with a GMT: an annual calendar maybe, and a power reserve. I believe in not only having a watch for every occasion, but multiple watches that can fit multiple occasions, as well as a diversity in features and complications that sets each piece in the collection distinct from the others.
What I appreciate most I would say from Teddy’s channel is how I have been exposed to, and thus have learned, to appreciate more of the not-as-hyped watch brands(and he has said numerous times that this is one of the major goals of his work). It took a while to persuade me, but I’m starting to get it! Teddy is the reason why I am eying a Glasshütte for my next watch.
Keep it coming my guy
Teddy! please do a full review of the 2 Grand Seikos here. The SBGA375 and the white birch would make killer review content !
I love the Titoni brand.. very slept on in the US. Family owned since 1919. T10 in house movement. Beautiful
Bought two watches from your quartz video! Thanks Teddy.
Thanks for including the Sinn 1839 mention. I just ordered one.
Got my Seiko 5 GMT on Friday. This movement is insane for the money. Real winner!
Overall, good suggestions. Colour me surprised that a Titoni is featured. Well done. It's also good to see Louis Erard watches are becoming more regularly featured in your suggestions. I am more a "tick-the-boxes" since I prefer to have a variety of complications and calibres. That said, within a budget of US$9,000, I would go with a versatile 3-watch collection - a daily/office watch, a dress watch, and a weekend/sports watch.
Liked , shared . Great video !
Fun video teddy!
Thanks so much for covering this

@Teddy Baldassarre: I bought my Seiko 5 GMT at 19’th of July. I started using it without hand winding it for two weeks. Then O read the manual, that in order to maintain best accuracy, it was recommended to hand wind it every day and at a fixed time each day. So I did every to every other day from about 26’th of July, But I did vary on time. Then on the eveneing at thursday 11’th of August when I was hand wind winding it, I discovered that suddenly could hand wind it forever - it’s stop-mechanism had stopped working.
So now I don’t know whether hand winding winds the spring at all. The clock is ticking, so it’ts automatic is still working.
I wonder whether this is some design- or manufacturing flaw, or something easy to fix…
3 watch collection for me. Oddly all Longines, love what they are doing lately. Diver would be the Ultrachron on a bracelet. Everyday would be the Spirit Zulu Time on a strap. Dress would be between the 27,7MM Dolcevita automatic or the 33.MM Evidenza. I have not looked at the dress ones so i would need to see them to decide. Have seen the Ultra and Zulu in person and they are both non negotiable if i ever get to pull the trigger on a colection like this.
Your biceps are poppin in that shirt! Lookin good, bro!
Brilliant,Thankyou👍
Cartier Tank Must and Seamaster 2552.80 as my current two watch duo. Also have a khaki field mechanical I use for when I feel things are too extreme for the seamaster
for an every day watch i have always loved the railroad watch face so i would incorporate a Ball railroad watch/ on the less expensive side the Hamilton Khaki navy pioneer is a great looker to.
There was a video that you reviewed your fans collection. Hope to see another video in that relation.
Hi Sir.. can you tell me brand and the type eyewear you wear ? Thankyou
Just picked up my Seiko 5 gmt in Hong Kong USD 348, with NO sales tax! Shopping in HK is awesome
A great video! Can you please make a guide for getting a collection with 100k$ budget?
Hi teddy what about a review of the Hamilton XXL Ventura skeleton automatic
Really nice picks!

Could you please do a review on the Norwegian Brand Bruvik?
Like the Duo though I probably want 3 watches. Currently I have 10 watches but after getting a Grand Seiko Rikka SBGH271 a month ago, I will par down all the others for the perfect 3 watch set which will likely be a Longines and Casio .
Which range of quality/luxury watches is recommended for a person who has a wrist size of 21,5-22cm in circumference and about 70mm across? Most regular watches just look to small.
I enjoy these "persona" videos. Keep them coming!
1. Black Bay Pro, Oris Aquis, Sinn 556i.
2. Longines heritage chronograph, Black bay 58, Nomos tangente neomatik
3. (vintage inspiration) Omega CK859, Hanhart pioneer monopusher
Please do a video on IWC pilot chronograph. Great video!

love the videos if was a new watch collector i guess i’m in the one watch category for $9000 i’m going to try and buy a preowned Rolex older models explore ii or a 36mm datejust or a yacht master some thing to enter the luxury Rolex market then take it from there with
other watch brands
A great selection of watches at Austin Auction Gallery in September.
I love that grand seiko !!Jeez that’s a beautiful watch.

Good job.
14:12 "Not for sale" engraved on the lug back of the Seamaster 300. I've never seen that before. Omega loaner?
For the one watch collection, I’d also add the Rolex Explorer 36mm. That black dial is timeless and goes with an active or formal outfit.
Three Watch Collection: white Seamaster 300M, anthracite with green bezel Longines Spirit Zulu Time, blue Tissot PRX Powermatic 80.
I love the building a watch collection series, but like Mr Wonderful to me it's the dial, because I look for a dial that plays off the color of my Chuck Taylor Shoes! Right now I'm looking for a bright yellow to match my high tops.
Oris Aquis Date Calibre 400 $3300
Casio A168WA $100
Oris Rectangular $1900
Frédérique Constant slimline power reserve $3795
(Yes I went over by $95.00)
Can you review the seiko SSC813?
I'm just catching this video now, but I realized I have the hamilton khaki field mechanical and frederique constant slimline moonphase already... eerie... does this mean I buy a tudor? Haha. Well done as always!
Love the Tutoni diver
Another great episode - for the one watch $9k collection - I’d spend $6400 on the 3861 Hesalite Omega Speedmaster moonwatch and bank the rest ✌️✌️
I’d spend an extra $1000 for the sapphire + exhibition caseback and bank the rest!
Whilst the speedy is a great piece, it’s not the ideal ‘one’ watch, imho. A little delicate & not great water resistance, & the chronograph complication is busy for dressier occasions. I’m biased of course, but I’d probably go Explorer as a better all-rounder.
@@KeepingWatchUK much love for the explorer, but the speedy pro isn’t delicate whatsoever. As long as you’re not using the pushers or crown underwater, it’s fine for swimming. I took mine on sub-zero backpacking trips, biking, snowboarding, swimming. No issues!
@@jacobroberge178 That’s cool, man! You’re a braver man than me though. Must admit, I am more cautious about my 3861 Hesalite. Perhaps unnecessarily…
@@KeepingWatchUK I don’t blame you. Not having a screwdown crown under water definitely makes me uneasy, but my watchmaker was super confident in the speedmaster pro as an everyday tool watch for all conditions. Just get it pressure tested once a year and you’re safe. Enjoy, it’s an awesome watch.
theres a Grand Seiko SBGA435 on chron24, thats the dream right there, stunning dial, limited run, just a bit pricey for my liking
cant wait for a review of the the Salmon dial Louis Erard Excelence 39mm!

Teddy, How would you categorize me, I have a Rolex GMT which I wear daily, a Breitling Chronomat I have had for 30 years, a Breitling Cosmonaute, and a dress Baume Mercier.
PERFECT BRACKET!
Hi Teddy. I hope you can help improving me watch collection are Tissot PRX P80, Tissot Quickster Baku 2015, Longines Master Collection, Omega Seamaster professional sochi 2014, Omega Speedster, Rio Janeiro 2016, Tudor Royal. Can you advice watch between 10K to 20K?
That sinn had like flathead screw driver hands that’s kinda cool not gona lie. I think that would better work on a seconds hand and then have lum on the end!
If i’m not mistaken, Omega is now selling the mesh in stainless steel?
These collection vids are a highlight for me for sure. It is fun to see the different "personas" in building a watch collection.
Even though I would love to be a two watch guy, I would buy every single one of these watches and be all the personas haha (what is wrong with me)
Teddy, long time fan and subscriber. I’ve got a couple pieces I’m looking to sell. I thought about Chrono24, but it’s so impersonal. Could I go through you?
Great episode. You got the hipster wrong. I would have choosen smaller watches. Maybe a cartier tank, or 36mm watches
The Longines Spirit Zulu Time is a really beautiful watch.
Please do a video about Roamer! I bought a watch that I know nothing about
sei molto bravo Teddy !

Love the seiko gmt Batman
Realistically my picks would be the Longines Master Collection, The Oris Rectangular, Tissot PRX Chrono or The Hamilton Heritage Chrono and The Seamaster 300 or Breitling Super Ocean or The Zodiac Super Sea Wolf, and finally a Casioak or another Gshock.
My god, that sinn is amazing
