Why would you need this if a computer monitor is plugged into a computer which is worlds more capable than the smart TV interface. Beyond a few niche applications, there is almost no purpose to this. Maybe if you only used the OS from samsung as your main OS, this could be useful because your phone can be your main computing device everywhere, but who would use this OS over Windows or Mac OS? I just don't see it.

What I really like is the universal connectivity. I can use the USB-C to hook up my phone in dex mode, or my tab s7, or my laptop and use the same peripherals accross the board. Plus, I travel for work and it's pretty much the main screen that comes with me. It's a nice do it all screen. Granted, it's not as fun to game on as my big screen TV, but if you're looking for one screen that can do everything and interface with most of your devices, there is a legitimate use case.
@Intolerant Renny many don't game and don't underestimate the mobile gaming space either. It won't be for everyone, but a cheap device for word processing, spreadsheets, movies, social media and web surfing will be adequate for a large part of the market
But can you run an xbox series x or PS5 with it? I have an LG Ultra fine monitor that I’m unable to use with my next gen consoles and it saddens me....
