This monitor is made for Apple users as you can tell, it’s also good for gaming if you’re on a budget but don’t want spend thousands of dollars on a tv that takes full advantage of the PS5 or Xbox Series X. It’s also a smart tv which is nice, especially for those that live in smaller spaces or have a small office setup. I say overall it’s worth getting and I meant that in a good way. It’s like Samsung came out and said: “Let’s make a computer monitor/smart tv for everyone!” 😃
I bought it. Only displays at 30Hz connected via USB-C to my Mac mini running MacOS Monterey Beta. 2nd monitor display wireless via Air Play is not at 4K; to get a 2nd display at 4K, I need to connect my M1 MacBook Air to the monitor via USB C. Acts as a USB hub with the 3 USB A ports. I would have preferred the USB C socket to be tighter; it's too loose and poorly designed. Other than the poor USB-C socket and the 30Hz refresh rate, I have no other complaints, considering the price I paid for it.

@@AX-fx7ng pretty sure there's no PIP at all. I've never tried for sure.
When connected to Laptop, is it same as normal monitor? Or lacks clarity of a monitor.
@@bunchofiitians5900 its got very good clarity in my opinion. Can't adjust brightness much.
The USB ports are not really "inputs".
that "He has lost his mind" intro we kinda felt that 😂
If it ain’t oled we don’t want it
@けんぞう He's right though, LCD is absolute shite for anything other than casual web surfing or watching RUclips etc, it's an awful technology that's useless for gaming, sports or watching movies.
@@Wobble2007 LCD is great
LCD smart TV is not good. and the monitor is only 60hz so gaming on this is out of the question
@@ARUclipsChannelwithNoName nope. Even good monitors today don't have lcd
Lew going on about how cool the remote is and I'm sitting here like I have that remote with my Samsung tv I got 5 years ago.
OR just get a wireless keyboard and mouse!
you don't get an extended monitor then
Would've been nice to see Samsung Dex showed.
I am extremely confused as to why you would need smart tv functionality in a monitor which is plugged into a computer…
One or two less clicks maybe? 👀🤷♂️
The only thing I can think of is if you're using it with a console.
@@chrisprilloisebola console also got smart functionality
@@kamilKos20 I mean if you want to change the setting of the TV from a distance
This monitor isn't TARGETED at using it with a desktop or laptop.
HOWEVER, using this smart monitor with a desktop or laptop is simply a bonus feature.
Your Samsung phone with Dex is meant to be used with this monitor.
That's Samsung's main focus.
He’s cracked!
I say that with love and humor. ❤️

Can I ask, is the computer monitor resolution crisp? I found larger monitors lose resolution.
that kind of remote design is pretty standard for samsung's smart tvs
Toshiba tvs to. Which is what I've been using already for years as a monitor
So basically this is just a glorified monitor with a remote control stick
Define "glorified"
@Mo The Dog pretty much
Glorified tv
@@lewisbrazier3064 how is it a glorified tv it does the same so it really is a tv
Other than the poor USB-C socket and the 30Hz refresh rate, I have no other complaints, considering the price I paid for it.

lew must be that one annoying friend we all have and love that thinks he's funny.
Super easy, barely an inconvenience
We want the 20:9 aspect ratio video!
this should be the blueprint for all future monitors
Would be nice to see a dual monitor setup for the Samsung M7!
