It's very difficult this days to find a monitor that doesn't wobble at all. I have two monitors sitting on a Ikea desk. My brand new 24" LG (24BL650C-B) does wobble (a lot!); but the 12 years old Dell (with a very sturdy stand) doesn't wobble at all. ;)

    • @0x007A
      @0x007A Год назад

@@Conceptcreator a monitor stand elevates the monitor to the ideal level, at least for me. If I don't use the monitor stand, I tilt the monitor screen back to a comfortable viewing angle relative to my keyboard / desk surface. Based on the video it appears the monitor base is wide enough to easily accommodate a notebook computer. Therefore, if you tilt the monitor screen back, the notebook, with lid closed, fits under the monitor screen.

I'm very happy with mine. It was available for $299 CDN when I bought it. Similar decision to yours. The price was just too good to pass up compared to most other 32" 4K. I mostly bought it because my work laptop is 4k and when I was using my other 27" 1080p monitor I was having so many issues with resizing. Instead I run it all on this monitor now and it looks great. I can run all my windows on there and don't feel like I'm out of room. I'll be happier once I get a VESA mount though because with two large monitors I can't really sit in the middle of them without getting neck strain. Waiting for the right one to be in stock.

I just bought this monitor and two biggest hang ups with this thing that are ultimately going to lead to me returning it to Best buy are: 1) There is no simple way to toggle between the various input port or even to get to them once you've started using the smart TV features. For example if I am using the smart TV function to watch a movie on Netflix and then want to switch the screen to using my work computer I need to use a remote go through a minimum of 9 button presses to navigate the menu before switching to monitor mode. 2) Probably the most annoying issue here, If I get up from my computer at any point and either lock it or just walk away long enough for it to time out/sleep the monitor will just power down completely and not wake back up when I come back an move my mouse to wake the computer causing me to use press another button to power the monitor back on again, its a relatively small problem that is a Huge annoyance to me since I go back and forth from my computer very frequently throughout the day.

This monitor is one of my strangest purchases. I bought it for my MacBook Pro 16" for longer working hours. The first bummer was that they promoted that it supports USB-C but they didn't include one! Ok, I got one and it ran perfectly. However, after 3 days of using this monitor for about 5 hours everyday, it stopped working with USB-C connection!! Why? I don't know. I changed cables and also tried connecting it to my iPad Pro but nothing! It charges but doesn't show anything on the screen. I called Samsung and their only reply is to reset it to factory defaults which didn't do anything. Their final solution is to take it to their service center! Wow, 4 days of a new monitor and this is my experience. Totally disappointed. Also the colors, contrast, brightness are all terrible. Can't edit photos or videos on it.

This is the most reliable review I’ve seen. Thank you.
I got this almost 2 weeks ago, and the first few days were completely horrible, and it looked dark, cheap, and impossibly hard to use. Tech support couldn’t help me connect to Airplay 2 or even tell me what the right specs for a single USB C cable we’re. None of the 6 cables I had, including a Thunderbolt 3, didn’t work, and of the 4 100w 5A cables I bought, only 2 worked. And for no reason Airplay just started working after my 3rd factory reset.
The hype is just that. Hype. They don’t tell you beforehand that on HDMI it can only do 30Hz, and that on wireless it’s only 1080p, and it doesn’t work properly as a KVM (maybe it isn’t meant to). But I bought into the hype, and coming from an Apple Thunderbolt Display, I guess my standards were a bit high.
I was so angry for about a week.
With managed expectations, it’s grown on me, and on a one cable connection and a monitor arm, it reduces desk clutter significantly. Print design and productivity don’t need a brilliant display anyway, and I realized the dimmer VA panel causes less eye strain.
And in hindsight for PhP19,699 ($400) on promo in the Philippines, it’s possibly the cheapest Airplay 2 Type C 4K monitor. It’s not worth the $580 they retail here, but can easily be found for $360-400 in the Philippines if you look around. In its price range, and if you’re not a gamer, cinephile, or professional video editor, it’s ok, once you get it running.

One of the three USB-A ports is not connected to the built in hub. It’s labeled Service. Things you connect to this port are not connected the PC connected to the USB-C port. You can, however, connect a mouse and keyboard here to use with the monitor itself.
If you want to 4K at 60 Hz via USB-C, you have to dig deep into the settings to enable this. The setting is named Input Signal Plus, hidden under Settings - General - External device manager.
There is no audio out port. If you want to use external speakers, either use bluetooth, or HDMI with some kind of splitter, or connect the speakers to your PC. If you decide to use bluetooth: there is no information on what codec is used. Probably the lowest quality one.
If you decide to use this, you may or may not have opted into Samsung’s creepy ad slinger network. Where they can decide to use the device to show you ads when they feel like it. The privacy notice makes this clear. I’m sure this was why the the price could be this low.

I got this monitor some weeks ago
And for someone who just wants to get rid of speakers for some space on the desk and all the privileges of a smart TV without out cable (I just don’t watch cable anymore) it’s very comfy and nice to have.
The only problem I’ve had is in the “pc mode”, it changes the colours making them awful compared to other displays and even if you try “smart calibrate” it (which is a function that you have with the Samsung SmartThings app) it still looks bad and it lowers the brightness a bit.
I tried using different modes and settings but colours look always weird, like some weir blue light filter is on (and it isn’t, I checked)
For now I got a little closer to normal looking colours with HDR but still not good
This happens only in “pc mode”
Maybe it is the hdmi cable, wrong port maybe? Dunno
The only thing I know, other things have the right colours, even the switch which is connected by hdmi
If I find any solution to this problem I will edit the comment explaining what to do if someone is having the same issue or just wants to buy this product and is scared of having to deal with this issue

Ended up buying a Samsung S70A (LS32A700NWNXZA) from Amazon a couple weeks back when they were having a Monitor sale, but they were talking about taking up to 4 weeks to deliver. So I found a third party seller, selling and brand new open box for a little bit cheaper and quicker delivery, so I bought that. They ended up sending me this M7 monitor instead (and it did come with a USB-C cable, I'm in the US)...and honestly, I think I lucked out! I was going to return it out of principal but I decided to keep it. I'm quite liking it so far...unfortunately I'm going to need to upgrade my PC a bit to get 60hz out of it (I only have HDMI 1.4), and my graphics card can't do HDR. But other than that it looks great.

I bought one of these for use as my productivity/work monitor with the thought that it would be a jack of all trades. Well... for me, it didn't satisfy my needs. I was not happy with the viewing angles which to me were very narrow along with the fairly low maximum brightness. I also was not fond of the smart functionality user interface. I think that could use some work to be more user friendly. With that being said, I could see this monitor satisfying some people with different tastes and use case. Im returning mine and decided to try an LG 32" ergo that was on sale at Costco for a similar price, I am crossing my fingers that I like it better.

Sir, I've seen reviews saying using this M7 with a USB - C input cable kinda kills the monitor like just within two hours to a brand new monitor within two days. HDMI port is told to be the safest . Did you face any of these issues? Are you still using this monitor? If so How is the performance with iPad pro via USB - C cable. Thanks. Nice video :)

I was looking at the new M8 until I found out that it was a VA panel - $700 is way too expensive for a VA panel. The M7 looks like it's more suitably priced for its features. The only thing I'm worried about is I've only owned IPS panels, ever. The angles/washout is a worry of mine for VA panels.

As someone who has used 120hz+ for years I can instantly tell if I am on a 60hz and I'm not talking about just for gaming. 120hz needs to be the standard, 144hz is getting into 'great' territory and 240hz (Samsung G7 I just grabbed) is the best I have experienced.

why televisions over 24" are so hated? in the internet forums I always read that it is the perfect size and that more than that is not worth it in gaming, something that makes no sense because a pc with a recent graphic is far superior to the ps5 or xbox x console.

I have to say: I bought this exact monitor and I had to send it back! I could not read text on it (fuzzy, with color fringing) when it was at 4K. And I was driving it with an M1 Mac Mini. My old monitor was an Acer ET430K, 43 inch beast (sadly no longer available) and I thought I would be better off with more compact pixels. I REALLY wanted to like this M7 but I couldn’t.
We’re there settings that could have improved the situation? I tried everything I could find.

Speaking of Display port, where, oh where, is it? I'm referring to the newest standard. The new standard for HDMI (2.1) came out and was readily accepted in products. However, the newest standard for Display port (DP 2.0) which is the preferred standard for professional use, was slated for release over a year ago, and hasn't been seen in any cards or products to date. Why is DP being completely ignored?

I brought Samsung Smart M7 monitor. Experience was horrible. Samsung sent me a 15Amps plug with monitor , when I asked why 15 amps instead of 5 amps they blame Amazon the seller. After a long follow up and time wasted, finally Samsung accepted that that monitor comes with 15amps plug and they don't know why or they can't provide a 5amps one either. Even they didn't accept this as a mistake. I m naver going to buy Samsung monitor again. Please suggest me a 30 to 34 inch LG or any good monitor.
