the excel to help understand the size is SUCH a good aspect to include in the review. Thank you! Great stuff
You gave a really comprehensive overview, thank you, please consider reducing the volume of the background music, your words are much more important than the music
Thanks for the review, had questions but immediately bought after this video. Will try when I get back home.
Single handedly the best review for this product on YT😊
My 43" M7 seemed a little too "flexible" for me out of the box but I added a Husky 100x100 to 200x200 adaptor plate to mount mine to an Ergotron LX arm and it became much more rigid (feels like a "normal" monitor now). I used the round Husky spacers (included in their kit) and 2 layers of 3M double-stick mounting tape in a square and X pattern between the monitor and the plate adaptor. (The 3M tape I used is generally intended for automotive trim pieces)
BTW Lowe's (in-store) has a nice selection of specialty hardware for stuff/projects like this ...metric, stainless, phillips or allen-head, various lengths etc.
Hey, I am planning to buy the same monitor in this week. I would really like to hear your feedback, how you feeling about yours?
To fix the dock being too small just right click (double finger click on touchpad) on the dock between two icons and then choose dock preferences. There you can choose to magnify what you are hovering over or change the size of the entire dock all together.
Thank you
hii can u confirm that can i open site from monitor itself or not ,and how its running now..., i want to take it for study ,32 inch and 43 inch of same prize can 43 inch good ??
@@radhekrishna2477 You can use the monitor exactly how you use the regular computer screen. Any size will work. 32", 43" make no difference. I would just make sure it's a 4K monitor. If gaming I would also try to get a 120Hz refresh rate monitor. If it's not in your budget a standard 60Hz is fine also. Any standard monitor with an HDMI input should work.
@@xplmr1 oh thanks bro, but is it good to consider 43 if 32 is have price
@@xplmr1 and @MrMartellSincere oh thanks , can u confirm Please, if i able to open the site.. web surfing .
Does it have auto switch off feature, where you set after how many minutes should it turn off?
Extremely helpful review! Thank you
Hi, great in depth review. Thank you.
1 question please. The HDMI cable length is not enough for me from my pc. Could you tell me should I buy hdmi 2.1 cable or hdmi 2.0? And is it USB 3 or 3.1 Sir?
great review. Does it support freesync? How is with gaming?
hi is it possible to interface a speaker on this smart monitor, if yes how by means of what connection usb type c?
Did you try connecting a soundbar? If so, what are your thoughts?
good video...if you want to change the size of your layout you can do that on your display settings and resolution. It will make the font and images bigger or smaller.
I am considering changing from 32” M7 to a 43” M7, this video helps me to reach a verdict. BTW, having an external power brick is a plus, Samsung is notorious for constant failing the power supply. I had a Samsung 34” curved monitor with failed power supply, I just bought one on line and I am good to go without sending to shop for expensive repair, my warranty went out BTW.
Personally I would prefer clean wiring, hence having the power supply built in makes sense for me, great that this video helped you.
@@klgadgettv I simply use 3M double-sided tape and stuck the power brick to underneath the desk, the rest of cable management is easy. Samsung charged me five times for what I paid for the power supply, having an external power supply helps especially for non-tech guy like myself but still wants to save a few bucks on repair.
I would also be considering switching from the 32 m7 to this 43, however, I did notice a brightness issue on the 32 where there is a pretty low max brightness setting. It wasn’t really bad but if it got a little brighter the experience would have been a lot better. If you have switched over, how would you say the difference in brightness is? I hope the 43 inch doesn’t have the same issue.
@@klgadgettv agreed. Power bricks make cable management needlessly sub-optimal, particularly when trying to achieve a minimalist desk / workspace. Samsung DeX enables ease-of-use for Samsung smartphones (Apple AirPlay 2 for Apple smartphones) with the Samsung M7 and M8 both wired and wireless modes.
Does it have a pip or pvp features?
Would a usb to aux converter work to connect external speakers to this monitor?
Great video! Thank you so much :)
Is it possible to use two excels sheets and one Netflix video at the same time?
For example one excel on the left side, one on the right and what about the Netflix screen? Can you adjust it wherever you want or how does it work? Or only full screen Netflix?
no think of it as an input so you'll have to choose one or the other
Thanks for showing the backside! 3:10 I'll be adapting the M7 43" (200 x 200 Vesa) to my Ergotron LX arm mount (100 x 100) with a Husky adaptor. I was happy to find out that the M7 43" monitor was just under 19 lbs (without the stand) so the Ergotron LX should handle this just fine.
Thank you for sharing your experience. I've got a question and I didn't find an answer in the internet. Does this Samsung M7 have motion smoothing (soap opera effect) feature?
hi bro, what the type c cable that you are using? can you please share the product link.
Thanks a ton for this review man.
Everyone else review the sponsored 32" version so it's really great I found your video.
Yay!
I was wondering why everyone was reviewing that 1 instead of this. I think i will sell my current 4k and get this
Yeah. Same. All the other reviews are quite biased. This one is very honest about the experience.
Where can i purchase the 43, trying everywhere in the uk
I am in trouble with macbook air m1. Not displaying with macbook charge cable. Is there who solve this issue. I am open to your help. Buying a new cable or changing options etc
I just purchased this monitor, based quite a lot on this review. My biggest concern was font clarity but happily this isn't a problem. I am coming from an excellent LG 4K 32UN880 ergo. It just didn't seem quite big enough. The 43" M7 fits the bill nicely. The LG display was slightly better but I am very happy with the 43" display and as a bonus I can now watch movies and streaming video in a much larger format. I have no problem running the monitor in 4k 60hz resolution. I am using a 2021 16" MBP via USB C and connection/recognition was straight forward. My only complaint and this seems to be a common problem, is that quite frequently there is a pop up message asking to allow or deny a device connection request. From my research on the internet, there doesn't see to be an adequate solution for this problem. My keyboard and mouse easily connected via bluetooth as well. The hub connections work ok as well. Only 2 of the 3 USB A type can be used however. The USB connection marked service will read a memory stick or hard drive but neither my webcam nor scanner would work with this port. They do work fine with the other ports. Thanks again for your review.
Are you saying that the webcam works when connected to the display with your MBP or with the display somehow?
@@TheFixerOfAll Yes I have my Logi webcam and my Epson ES50 scanner plugged into the M7. Both work fine. Its only the top USB A port that doesnt work with peripherals. Its the service port or some such thing? It will recognize a USB thumb drive though. My MBP is connected by TB USB C cable to the monitor.
How is the brightness when you are using it for streaming? Is it as big issue as people are saying on the web?
@@London42 I use the monitor for a lot of streaming, no problems at all. Its not going to blind you with brightness but I have never had an instance where the screen was too dim. Im more than happy with it. I came from using 2 LG 32 UN88o monitors and it is, for all intents and purposes, just as good for daily use. I use it all day for work and then watch a lot of streaming video at night. 4k res looks very nice. Of course not Oled quality but for me, very nice. I just cranked the brightness up all the way and leave it there. I have 2 laptops connected to it and switching between them is a breeze, another great feature.
@@brucesyvertsen2147 Thanks for such a detailed reply. I was planning on waiting for M8 32inch but the 43 inch is very very tempting. If there’s no issue with the less brightness then I don’t have any other qualms with this model and I might just zero in on it. Thanks a bunch, mate. :)
Does this support other apps like FUBO tv?
Nice video. Thanks for this. One question, are the fonts and pixels as good as normal 24 inch monitor? Or does it lack something? I want to use this for programming, which is mostly text stuff
Well it depends on how you set your scaling percentage
@@klgadgettv WHERE IS THE WEBCAM FEATURES? YOU DIDNT DO THE COMPLETE REVIEW. PLS ADVISE.
21.5" FHD = 4k 43". Both have same PPI but 43" 4k will be more sharp than 21.5 FHD because u must use 43" monitor from far. Example u need 1 mt for use 43" but u need 50-60cm for use a 21.5" monitor.
24" FHD is 92 PPI, 4k 43" is 103 PPI. Already 4k 43" sharper than 24" FHD monitor, if u calculate the distance it will be more sharper than u expected.
@@klgadgettv There's no scaling necessary with 43" 4K. That's the main benefit of "forty inchers".
I came across this model online while looking for a tv. Since i only used regular tv's for gaming with my playstation. This has a great price range but i'm wondering how this screen would be for gaming at a distance of 2 meter ( 6 ft ). I will mainly use it for gaming and streaming movies.
Great review 🔥
Thank you for your explanation of having 43" will make reading text better because it will not be to smalll
Can it be used as a gaming monitor for consoles?
Thank you for the information. I would like to organize all my windows (4 ou 6) automatically in 100% of the monitor screen, could you please explain us?. Thanks in advance.
Hi there, thank you for the review! You got a subscriber :)
I have an open questions though:
have you tried to use an external speaker with it? Do you know if it's supported and which port would be used it? Maybe bluetooth?
It supports HDMI ARC devices or you can use Bluetooth
Nice video, what cable you use to connect the macbook to the monitor? and does it support 4K60?
It's a USB C to USB C, yes it supports 4K60
Can I use a USB C to USB C charger cable? to connect to my macbook air m1 ?
What’s your thoughts on using this as a monitor for M1 MacBook, I will be working mostly on Final Cut Pro and Logic ProX, did you face any lag ?
No lags so far
Thanks for the nice review.
Given it’s a VA panel, can you comment on the viewing angle? Considering if I sit 30 inches from the 43” screen. Would I notice any brightness or color distortion at the edges?
Viewing angle and pc desktop clarity is very disappointing if you sit relatively close. Came home from work and my 18 year old daughter said that she would not use the pc if we had this screen as a monitor. Gave her a headache when used as an ordinary desktop monitor. Returned the monitor after 2 days and decided to go for a 32 inch 4k monitor instead. Monitor is probably just fine if you use it for more couch gaming/video watching.
Was OK in DCS World at 60 fps (have a powerful system). Still clarity outside the center was off/glassy.
@@Mightymoose02 Thanks for the report. Fortunately, I did not go for the M7. I ended up with triple Sony 4K TV setup. Working out very well. My application is flight sim as well.
Definitely buying this all in one Solution.
I have one of these on order. Excellent review !!
Any buyers remorse so far?

is it good for using with Series S
how's the brightness?
Hi, Are you still using this? I have the same one but i have an issue, while watching amazon prime it turns on film maker mode and it's dark and annoying mode.I couldn't figure out how to turn it off? Have you tried?

Excellent review.
One question: A lot of customer reviews that I've read for the monitor complain that the monitor is too dim, even at its peak brightness. Did you find this to be an issue?
Thanks
Turn off eco mode
Are there any issues with the VA panel for text (I've always had IPS monitors - never bought a VA before)? I also need to hook up an M1 MBA for software development.
I'm still using it daily and there hasn't been any issues
Its brightness is enough or good for this kind of display ?
thank u sir. idk if I wanna get this one for opt for an ips or QLED of this size now
ips should be fine
can you split screen the smart tv apps and the usbc/ hmdi input?
This is great for a standing desk setup!
Thanks for the review. I just want one for my CCTV closet so anything at 4K, at least 40" and slim will do. Don't need any apps or anything.
Does it have pbp?
Max power consumptions??
Hi, thanks for the video, is this screen mat finish or glossy ?
Glossy
@@klgadgettv :(, thanks
Do you use this with any Windows systems? If so, any issues with text clarity due to the BGR sub pixel layout?
It still have problem with M8 model about color if u are hard on colors or do things with correct colors, u may not like this m7 or new m8. But for office, playing game on PS and movie, 4K HDR10 is far enough to me and this monitor is cheaper now.
@@MinhVo-mx4dr none of what you’ve spoken about is impacted by the sub pixel layout.
Hey, looking to buy this one as it is cheaper than the other Samsung models (34 inches,), etc. Not sure If Samsung has used less quality material in the body.
But my main concern is, do you get tired after a couple of hours because it is a pretty large monitor, not curved, so constantly moving your neck and eyes to find out different content on the screen. e.g. if you are looking at the right, and if you want to close windows (Windows 10), you will bring your eye top right and mouse to close the window. Does it make you tired after 2-3 hours of usage?
Thanks in advance.
Nope, it works fine in my case
Treat it as 4 22" monitor
how do you mount this on a desk mount? the back part is wider than the square peg standard
I believe I read 100mm wesa
Husky 100x100 adaptor is awesome. Flat steel plate. Makes the monitor nice and rigid too. You may want to modify or bolt down a desk mount (I did, but I'm just paranoid😵💫)
Great Video!
thank you
I bought this tv blind. It’s pretty nice the only that bugs me is that the OS is laggy
can it be Picture by Picture?
@KLGadgetGuy Are you using Apple's Thunderbolt 3 USB C cable ? For 4k@60 hz
There's no need to use a TB3 cable, you just need a USB 3.1 cable for it to work.
@@klgadgettv you mean a USB Type C to USB Type C 3.1 Gen cable ? Cause I tried one it's not working, can you point me to the product you're using ? And I even tried hdmi with my 2018 MBP which gives some static noise(audio) when screen mirroring. No idea why this is happening.
Hi Sir,
How is the gaming experience on ultra wide mode. ?
Colour reproduction and brightness are good ? And viewing angles ?
Im planning to buy for offline work and watching 4k movies and games also.
Can I connect my Bluetooth speaker (JBL) to it?
I would need to hear it in person, but to me the sound was great , I don't know why you felt disappointed.
are you getting any mac scaling issues ? are the texts crips ?
Nope it works fine
ITS AN EXCEL MONSTER! I like!
Anyone knows which monitor arm would be compatible with this monitor? It has a 200x200mm VESA mount.
I used a Husky brand adaptor 100x100 to 200x200 (plate steel). I used my old Ergotron LX (not HX) and just cranked up the tension and it works very well!
can I use this monitor for forex trading?, is the processor capable of handling trading for at least 12 hours a day without lagging?
How can you reference your ultrawide monitor and not even cover this monitor's 21:9 ultrawide mode?
My last monitor was an old LG 34UM65-P 34" Class 21:9 UltraWide Full HD 1080p IPS Monitor and this 43" M7 is awesome in comparison if that helps.
A lot of things missed out in this review are the major features and the primary reason for buying this monitor over any other Wired 43 inch 4K monitors. Samsung Dex wirelessly, Airplay2, wireless display, keyboard, mouse and gamepad connectivity and display mirroring (Google TV). You can also turn the monitor on via a mobile device on the same network and control the setting via Samsung Smartthings on Apple and Samsung devices.
With all due respect you reviewed this primarily as a monitor and its much more than just a monitor, So yes it does make sense.
is it possible connect separate mouse mouse and keyboard on tv for control extend screen?
why did i get a non solar white remote
can you run 4 different hdmi sources at the same time with 4 way split screen like the LG UHD Multi-tasking Monitor
No you can't
@@klgadgettv that's an almost criminal oversight. Why?
Great review! Really informative and not just a feature rundown. I just tried using my 4k 43" TV to see how the size would suit. The TV made it feel like the screen was curving slightly away from the middle (opposite to a curved monitor). Did you notice this with the M7? I hope not as I'm really thinking of getting the 43" M7. Thanks.
Just gonna click buy now on amazon i am going for it is there any chance it will get outdated??

There is an issue that when you connect your laptop by HDMI RUclips videos ( except 4k 8k ) playing by lagging. I went to the store yesterday and checked with Samsung staff there. They told me have not realized before this issue. There has to be a setting / or settings which will sort out this delay. It is 60 hz and when i connect my Apple Cinema Display 30 inch it works great. So it made me thought. Even it has DVI connected monitor. On the other hand when you play RUclips videos through monitor's own app then it works flawlessly. So same device and different outcomes ...
Interesting information, thank you for sharing.
Question, why are you playing background music? It is beyond me why RUclips content creators think it necessary and cool playing music over their voice. We came to hear you, instead we are fighting the drone of annoying music. Many folks have hearing difficulties, thus your music over your voice quickly becomes extremely intrusive.
I purchased the 32", I just haven't set it up yet. What size is your desk?
It's 160cm long

I just measured the temp on mine with an infrared thermometer gun and it's 109F at the bottom and 91F at the top. (Ambient room temp is currently 80F though). This seems very "normal" to me with max brightness on the "Game" setting (and it's been turned on for 3 hours). I've had my M7 43" for 2 months.
For a silly comparison my 12 year old 60" LG Plasma TV is 106F in the same 80F room (also on for 3 hours)
Does this have an antenna input port?
No it doesn't
can I connect my Bluetooth soundbar I have now with my Samsung TV?
yes you can
Is there enough space under the monitor to put a soundbar? Since the monitor is huge, I guess you have to set it quite low in order to be able to use the upper corners comfortably, which doesn't let much space under. Could you measure the available height under the monitor?
The clearance is about 6-7cm, more than sufficient for putting a soundbar under it.

You mostly talk about the size and not about as a comparison to other monitors in the same size.
Unfortunately we don't have other similar sized monitors to compare with.
Is it loud enough to watch it in a living room?
Nope, its best to pair it with a soundbar since it supports ARC.
Black smearing?
Why this disturbing background "music" ?
Just brought this monitor from Samsung for $326 after tax.
