Lindy, you are always doing amazing things. Rowing, knitting... I was sad to miss your presentation on Queering Your Bookshelves due to life, but I love that you did that. They certainly picked the right person. I just picked up Behind You and can't wait to read it. I'm sooo glad you enjoyed A Suitable Boy - so sad, I left you to run that on your own, but I'm grateful to you and pleased it was a success. 😊💙
@@BookwormAdventureGirl Jolene, when you feel the urge to read A Suitable Boy in the future, I’m there will be more readers eager to join you in a group read. So you can look forward to that. 😊
Hi Lindy! Annie Bot sounds up my alley; on it goes to the TBR. Your online talk sounds terrific!
Thanks Angelia. I hope you enjoy Annie Bot! 🤖
Hi Lindy, I think both my daughter and I will enjoy “behind you“ I’m enjoying our buddy read as well of “ The diviners“. Aloha friend.
One of many aspects that I enjoyed about Behind You is the way the longterm lesbian relationship is portrayed.
I’ve requested Annie Bot. It sounds great. I started listening to Fayne on the way to the city today and I’m loving it. 💜
I’m so glad that you are reading Fayne! So immersive! I think you will enjoy Annie Bot too. 😊
I first became aware of Annie Bot when Renee Jo Reads talked about it and now I want to read it even more
Yeah, Annie Bot is one that benefits from word of mouth. I hope you enjoy it when you have a chance to read it. 😊
Hi Lindy, Black Cloak sounds something I will enjoy. So thanks for the tip.
You’re welcome Alina. Are you a fan of the Saga series?
@@lindysmagpiereads Definitely a fan of the Saga series!
@@59cubanita Me too! I think I have a few new issues of Saga to catch up on, but I wait for compilation volumes.
PS I’m very tempted to try “a suitable boy” at some point probably as a buddy read
I think you would really love A Suitable Boy. 😊
Yay! We finished A Suitable Boy. It was so, so good. I miss the characters already.
Hooray for us! I agree: the characters live on.
Warm greetings and hugs, Lindy! So sad, I couldn't attend the Zoom event due to time difference between our countries: I could stay awake till 1 am, but, I think, it was already 3 or 4 am in the morning here, in Finland, I had to skip this time 😢
Unfortunately, I also had to step out for a while from our "Suitable boy" readlong since my trip to Croatia (I crossed the 1000 page milestone though), but I am planning to finish the book this summer, and, hopefully, I will catch up with the discussions. At least, I am planning to listen to your thoughts. I loved our group a lot ❤ and I will stay tuned for more readlongs with you ❤
Have a lovely week ahead! ❤
Hi Aleksandra! I understand about the time difference. You are close to the end of Suitable Boy, and so much happens in the last few chapters! Keep in mind that Voxer messages are only retained for one month (unless you have a pro membership.) Happy reading!
I so wanted to attend the Queering event but I had to work at that exact time. Will the video be available on RUclips or somewhere later?
Too bad you had to work. It wasn’t recorded. Laurie zoomed in from our front porch and she said I was amazing. ☺️
