    Hi Lindy! I love your zebra pride shirt! I've had Biography of X on my TBR for awhile. I requested my library to acquire it and they accepted the request but it's taking them forever to get it. Have a good weekend!

      Hi Angelia! I’m glad you like my shirt. I’ve had it for 29 years. (I get really attached to my clothes.)
      There’s going to be a new readathon happening in September, one related to art. I’ve already decided that will be the perfect occasion to read Biography of X.

    I just picked up Eve from the library-also on Heidi’s recommendation! It sounds really fascinating.

      Yes, before reading Eve, it never occurred to me to wonder why we don’t have two or more vaginas. There are endless things to marvel at and ponder in that book. Enjoy!

      I just picked up the e-book. Maybe we could plan to have a chat when we've both read it Hannah. I haven’t started it yet.

    I was so pleased about Brotherless Night too. I hope to get to Biography of X from the LAMBDA list. I was fascinated to hear how the audio version of Gender Queer worked. I am about to read a couple of comics by Guy Delisle, Pyongyang and Factory Summers. Do you know him?

    • @lindysmagpiereads
      @lindysmagpiereads  Месяц назад

      Guy Delisle is great! I think I have read everything he’s done. Pyongyang was the first book I had ever read set in North Korea. His eerie experience of being chaperoned the whole time has stuck with me. Factory Summer is a more mature work, even though it’s about his youth. I love that one. I look forward to hearing what you think of his graphic style and dry humour.
