it has more then 12 gears, you use the 6 speed gearbox on the g27 with a splitter, so you can only bind 12 gears
The reason it was revving so high in 12th is because it is a 16 speed.

I tried the big Kenworth truck got 18 so i had to use the paddles.

i play euro truck alot and might get a racing game on steam i saw on early access? i dont have a job yet and was wondering if its worth it if i ask for christmas?

You drive over Italy, Switzerland and France and pass ambulance and police vans from Poland! That's crazy!
The truck itself has a 16 gear transmission but the G27 is set to just 12. Try mapping the paddles to change gear or use the extended mode.
"In addition to the standard automated gearshift, the Arcos is also optionally available with a manual double H-gearshift with pneumatic shift assistance. Customers who prefer a manual transmission therefore have a choice between a 9-speed transmission and three optimally tuned 16-speed transmissions. "

Squirrel - I like your philosophy on the smaller engines. I usually drive the 700-odd brake Kenworth K100, but it just annihilates the smaller loads and I wind up with speeding tickets all over the place. Time to back to my 580 brake DAF.
At 31:35 I lost it when I saw that 1969 dodge charger, I know it's supposed to be about squirrel and the trucks but I just love that charger

it looks like the rpm issue was just because you use the "H" shift and you were unable to get higher gears. I use the real automatic and the truck runs fine with the same transmission you used in the video.

If you look at it in terms of colours alone its a fairly gross pairing, and those were two shades paired on by choice. I'll take the car, just please don't make me keep the colours.

john carl Well people love it when they look at the car itself. Its a gorgeous car, its a great artistic design. I'm talking about taking the colours and the colours alone. For instance take them out and put them on paint side by side, they will look disgusting. Nobody would wear that, nobody would paint their room like that. Put on an absolutely amazing car though nobody at all will be focusing on the colours.
Colors alone might look good for others.
The physics of the game are good. Even a 360bhp truck can pull a 25 ton trailer no problem.
Btw. I've seen this Merc truck on the road in real life. It is an amazing looking truck.

On the highways in the Netherlands I see a lot of DAF's and MAN's. A few Scania's, Merc's, Volvo's and Renault's from time to time. I think it just a case of companies like DAF and MAN making these trucks as their core business while Mercedes from example also has cars. The more you stick to your core business, the more resources you can put into R&D and making the best trucks.

I love your channel dude. I actually have no idea why I watch/subscribe. I have no interest in ETS or Trains games, to play that is. But I watch them and it's always entertaining. I'm actually blown away by the fidelity of this game and it's mods.

It's amazing how many different and varied vehicles that logo gets attached to.
Its funny that when this video released there was pictures of the American West coast on SCS blog for ATS. But now its getting Weigh Stations which will be interesting since in real Weigh Stations you have to possibly adjust your axles for the weight of the load. California speed limit for semis is 55mph and some companies like Crete Carrier Corp. and Werner Enterprises they only allow their drivers I believe to go at 62mph due to high fuel costs.

In Turkey there are toll gates without barriers because the vehicles that go past have a toll scanner which lets them through. So the maker of the megamod might have been Turkish

the scania r1000 doesn't work very well if you press 2 to go on the outside of the truck you get stuck on the view under the truck :(
your speed issue is most likely caused be the smaller diameter of the wheels you put on, they travel less distance per revolution and or improper diameter programmed with those wheels. try stock wheels.

This mod is sweet. an the American cars you saw the red one is a newer Ford mustang, The first black American car you saw was a Ford mustang fastback, the second black car you saw was a Dodge charger, and the yellow lookin Humvee was also an American vehicle its a Hummer H3T. Its the trucks style Hummer H3
Mercedes Benz trucks, are one of the biggest truck companies.. aaand the screen with the merc logo is something called fleetboard, something for eco driving and stuff..AAAnd 15:12 that is not an old Scania truck, trust me i know old trucks.. its probably a Kamaz or something.. ur welcome, Paul.. :)

Not sure if it's the same MP4 Actros I used before, but the top transmission upgrades had 14 or so forward gears if I remember correctly.

Squirrel, you should get some 8x4 chassis for your trucks. It look bad ass when you haul overweight, oversize cargo with a 8x4 Scania :)
is there maybe more than twelve gears? because it doesn't sound right doing 2000 rpm at 75km/h in 12th
That "mini humvee" is a Hummer H2 a popular truck/suv here in the US
You said Mercedes trucks are quite rare in the UK, but...:
Daimler trucks is actually the largest truck maker in the world (afaik). But they don't market trucks under the Mercedes-Benz brand everywhere. Other brands they own are: Freightliner, Western Star trucks, BharatBenz, Mitsubishi Fuso (the former transport branch of Mitsubishi Motors), as well as some Joint-ventures in China.
In Germany you see them a lot. I'd say the most common trucks here are Mercedes, MAN and Scania (the latter two of course both are a part of Volkswagen). DAF, Iveco and Renault you see around as well. But that's just my personal observation, not based on actual statistics, so I might be wrong.
You said but at the end of your sentence but your two paragraphs don't prove/ disprove the original point... as far as I'm concerned in the UK, the most popular trucks are Dafs, MANs, volvos and older Mercedes trucks. Particular popular trucks are Volvo FM series, Man TG-L, Volvo FH12, DAF XF and that's about it. You don't see a butt load of Scanias or new Mercedes actros trucks over here.
The new grills of the trucks has to do with that the euro 6 engines need more cooling than before so they needed to make the grills bigger for more cooling (bigger radiators)
I mean 35:10 a yellow Mercedes-Benz will be overtaking Squirrel.
The black american built car at the tool booth was a 1969 Dodge Charger. I had a 68 with a 383 4 barrel carb and my friend had the 69 with a 440 Cubic in motor. The would really run.

Why the rpms could be so high when only going 67kmh is that the wheel mods are smaller than he regular truck wheels. So basically bigger wheels will make you go faster and smaller wheels will make you go slower and have higher rpms. Specially if you are using realistic physics.

ive just got ETS2 and ive installed 3 vehicle mods.
how or where do i go to find them, i know you have to buy them but is there a specific dealer in which would buy all of them?? or is it luck if you come across it in a dealership as i found my kenworth but i was just shy of its rrp and so i exited to do a mission and when i went back to the same dealership it wasnt there. ive downloaded a volvo 10x4, kenworth and a peterbilt but i cant find them as i wanrt to drive them...

Hey Squirrel. I don't know if you noticed, but the interior is from the outside still looking yellow even though you changed it to black. I doesn't matter since you drive the truck from inside, but it certainly wouldn't make me happy.
