I think the possibilities are so great in this game for multi-player you could be not only have truckers in it but police, rescue , tow trucks , even folks in restaraunts ,gas stations , truck stops, the game lends itself out for just about anything that mimics reality! this would bring in many many folks to the game
LOL that first scratch is always the worst!! I had my first trip in the Volvo last night - great truck - twas impressed!! Awesome video as always :D
yeah, they have done an amazing job on the exterior of the game... the roads look great.... but I have seen a few game plays but I do agree, they should start focusing more on the traffic (AI) on the roads....

I like all the A.I. mishaps, as it really realistic of all the bad drivers out there. Plus it keeps you on your toes!
can't wait for the day when a couple of studios team up to make a world Sim which combines multiple different simulator and puts it on a virtual earth map

I haven't watched a ETS2 vid in a long time... still as strangely addictive as usual...
You are absolutely correct about the need for challenges and rewards and achievements. I am one of the players you mentioned who has bought and upgraded almost all the garages (67 and counting), filled them with top end trucks (215 and counting) and hired all the drivers (154) and make more money than I can spend even without having to drive myself - I now have nearly £2.4BN! The only challenge now comes from mods.
DAF have facelifted their entire range. Renault have introduced the T-series truck (google it, ugly as sin), which has FINALLY replaced the Magnum after 20-odd years. Scania seems to be staying with the same old look and feel but I expect them to be dropping something HUGE, especially in terms of the Swedish power wars right now (780BHP R-series?). Iveco have their Hi-Way model of the Stralis, and Volvo have obviously refreshed the FH. I was the guy who asked your opinion on the new FH dashboard on the Sunday Night Truckin' stream, if you may recall. Love your stuff!

being the owner of a lorry license on my own, i kinda like the smooth way u drive by now ! Really good, round and always "keep em rolling" ! Even the cornering seems to be in ur blood by now, a pleasure to see u driving.

I would love to see the double articulated trucks, the b-double whatever you call them, in the ETS games, but if you think its hard to reverse a semi trailer, the b-double will melt your mind the first times you try to reverse them.

I like Yazoo, both the band and the milkshake.
The game doesn't end after you've upgraded yourself to max Squirrel. The delivery points are getting more and more packed. So it will be harder to deliver. But that's just one example. I've only seen Level 53, but I can't even imagine what Level 90 is. And until you haven't seen 100% Map, you haven't seen everything. There's always a little road, that is worth discovering. So you still got months of play in this one and more. And Dijon is known for Mustard.

don't know if this has been said or not so sorry if it has. when you first pull into the factory, the white part of the trailer is where you connect with the kingpin. then when your pulling around to back up to hook up, you'll notice in the mirror the colors flip flopped in the mirror as well.... yellow to white :)

Great episode with excellent commentary as usual. You have some very interesting thoughts about the game. I'm sure lots and lots of players share your opinion, including me. An achievement system would be really cool indeed. I hope mr. Pavel watched this too... well, I'm pretty sure he did :)
I'm buying every DLC they come up with, just to support them. I really like the Halloween DLC. Great paintjobs and the price is perfect I think. Can't wait for the next update too.
to me sometimes the AI helps me watch out for my speed as when they slowdown means the limit is lower and sometimes i didnt see a sign that said the limit at so e areas

If world of trucks was made into a game I would love to see Australia and New Zealand included for a few reasons. Australia for its big open roads and trailer trains. New Zealand because I live there and my mum owns a freight company, so Ive experienced what its like to truck around NZ from a passenger perspective. What I'm saying is, add B-trains, maybe add freight trucks so you don't need a lorry to have work. Thats what I would personally want to see in World of Trucks. Btw keep up the good vids Squirrel

Its funny how even though its meant to be a milkshake trailer it still has the hazardous tags on it
Take in mind that in train sim you also get new maps with the train you buy. Which are pretty big, but prices are still to high.

You shoud try and get the trailer weight mod. I got that. And pulling a digger up a sand pit takes a while because af the load. Really nice mod.

i think they should add non articulated trucks aswell - so you could do a small multi-drop around the area you are in. Also i think the new mercedes actros should be added in that thing looks amazing!

Relax, SCS are just 30 guys, and they are working in 2 new games, and also still improving Euro Truck Simulator 2.

A tip for reversing try to position the truck on the left side of the docking point then its alot esier reversing.

the volvo fh is good as for the scania but for interier and looks scania looks better
about the facelifts, there are two companies that changed they're appearance lately: MAN came up with the new MAN TGX facelift and DAF with the new DAF XF facelift. maybe they are talking about them...
You can get the interior in this color too, but dark grey-ish is the standard colour.
