- Trying out the new TSM 4.x map and Heavy Trailer pack I pick up a 48t Panzer tank and take it from Africa to Portugal in a brand new Majestic truck. It will be interesting to see how the Majestic copes with this load which has a similar weight to the Boabab tree I pulled with the Volvo. The biggest enemy however, seems to be the AI.

Paul, I'd like to say thanks for putting the time in to make these videos. You aswell as stockoglaws inspired me to make my own Euro truck lets play. I uploaded my 1st video today and overall it took me from about 11am to 6pm to record it, render, upload etc. People don't realise how hard it is to make these videos on a regular basis. Thanks for putting in the time for your subscribers :)

Wow, I remember this like yesterday lol. Feels weird.
When climbing hills try split shifting through each gear, that way there is more chance of finding a gear that can keep your revs in the power band and your foot flat on the pedal (instead of having to hold back and go slower)p.s it was a Renault that pulled out on you at around 22 minutes

Just to let you know about some stuff. TSM has another version in the works already, likely to go along with Going East and definitely into their own version of Scandinavia. To clarify a bit on the tsm mods. The heavy trailer pack works with any map, but you might think of dialing the income back as these loads are profit makers. Its the just play mod that is strictly tsm map. But thank you for the pointer on installing updated map mods. Its appreciated. Keep the videos coming.

Funnily enough red and green do go together, just like orange and blue. Just look up a colour wheel :)

hi squirell, here is a trucker from the netherlands and i drive a scania 143 500 v8 with all ready 2,5 millions kilometers and i still drive every week 5 days all around europe. go on with your videos and i will keep watching in the weekend. greetz from holland!
In the US the general rule of thumb for going down hills, with the retarder on, is one gear lower than the one you climbed the hill in.

Red and Green definitely work together. They are complimentary colours like Blue & Orange, Yellow & Violet. They are opposite on the colour wheel and opposite colours create a sense of tension, while harmonic colours (those along side each other on colour wheel are peaceful or harmonic feel. I'm an artist and they are used always like that. :p lol
I think a darker green would have looked better... But it's not as bad as he made it out to be.
Sarah Snyder Yeh trick with colour matching is to always match the chroma (ie the same amount of saturation (greyness). Get that right n colours always work.
There were a few videos with a tree that weighed 70 tonnes. It was called the "Seventy Tonne Volvo"

Most of these trailers in the pack are great fun, as you can see in the video. Especially in tight slip roads like in France and Britain. Or going in, to deliver at Trameri. Super super difficult. but great fun.
This going to be an interesting series of videos. Keep up the good work!

Thinking that the Vlog/setup vid for 100k subs is a great idea.
when you change gear give it a quick rev so that it raises the revs once you have changed down the gear

I wish you would downshift to a lower gear up those hills instead of being content with 14 kpm lol
I've not driven it much, but I do like the Majestic. The biggest downside though is that there's no integral GPS in the premium dash. I really like driving without the overlay these days and unfortunately the Majestic makes this hard. :P

Paul, I think you need to start using all your gears (odd & even) when pulling a load as heavy as this.
"beacons cuz we gonna need them" like always you put them on trucks but always forgot about them :P
I often drove Majestic trucks before, but i stopped driving them because i had to refuel every time i saw a gas station.

Might I suggest configuring your H-shifter to 3, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12.
In my opinion it works most perfectly. At least with the Volvo. =)

You may pick a tank up from a farm yard, it may have been found there and now on it's way to a new owner or may have lived there through restoration, where better to restore a tank.
And yes the vehicle that forced him onto opposite side is a Megane estate.

Don't know if you've mentioned it .. but .. ETS2 is on sale at steam 66% off until Sept 2 (greenlight sale). I will try and get it now, but I will need to get something better than my crunchy keyboard for steerage. .. my last delivery was 28% and 8% damaged

with a load like that, you shouldnt use the 6x4 but the 6x2, 6x4 is only good for snow and sand and other rough terrain

how to use this mod maps? I tried to use but it all does not work well, but all the mod that I had been removed, I use a version 1.4.12s
In Euro Truck Simulator 2, you drive slower than real life, it's hard to pull 48 tonne trailer, but in real life you can easily pull a 70-80 tonnes trailer.
do a 100k V-log!!! And ArmA3 will have a singleplayer mode, so you could post s.player missions or the campaign on YT. If you are actually into all that military stuff that is.
The tree was 48 tonnes but with the volvo it added to about 70 tonnes. So 70 tonnes in all.
What do the different transmissions do to the overall performance of the truck?
What does a more expensive transmission add that a cheaper one doesn't?
