I think this is probably a great video. but if it's possible for you to re-record the audio it would help a lot. I have very slight hearing loss (but it's way below hearing aid necessity) and with my volume all the way to max, in a quiet room, I struggled to hear you. TBH, I left after about 2 minutes. I applaud your efforts to introduce this software to us newbies, though. Thanks.
I use inkscape and lazer grbl and a sculpfun s9 engraver when i go to make a circle in inkscape all is well BUT when it shows up in grbl the circle is NOT closed it leaves abut 1/8 open and un cut on s9 any ideas would be well appreciated 99% of circle is perfict just wont cut all the way and i can see the open in grbl thanks
thanks for the video. One question, I have a cnc3018 machine with laser and spindle, when I use laserGRBL and I want to use the laser, the spindle also turns on, how can I disable the spindle?
I think everything connected to the device with LaserGRBL on it will moved you might need to find a way to unplug the spindle from the device I don't know anyways to do that on the software

Hi in laser grbl software when I attempt to jog the y axsis the x axsis moves in stead I've checked aii wiring is correct any ideas as to why this would be happening
@@kernowcoinringscornishcoin3999 you can try reinstalling the software but then you’ll have to re-enter your settings I could try to find another fix for you
how can you remove an image if you decide not to us it and want to change it to a different image? when i uploaded a new one it just went overtop of the original one
I am trying to engrave wood model airplane ribs to the actual size . What i been doing is taking a pic of my part and sending it to my email, i then move it to my desktop and then move it to the GRBL screen. This has been working so far for other projects. But i need to engrave the exact size of the original. Any suggestions?
I have a problem that sometimes the board is disconnected, I don't know how to resume because after I connect the board, it lost it's zero position. Anyone have this experience please help!
@@LaserEngravingProfessor Thank you, I actually found out the cause, the PCB just overheated, so I use fan to cool it down while engraving and it's all good now.

I cant get my laser to connect to my computer but i see it in the port in device manager.
Make Sure everything plugged in and Connected Well
com port 3 appears when I plug in the laser I set the baud to what it is in divice manager and still no connection.

i suggest using befunky.com and importing to LaserGRBL for text

You probably dont have a hearing condition like @ieeejo has, he says he has VERY SLIGHT HEARING, so needs volume to be HIGH.

Ny volume is at 50 on my phone... and i can hear him fine. You may want to watch a tutorial on how to adjust volume on your device
