Maybe quit diving all over the ice every other play while being rats and the refs might pay attention more

Favorite moment of the game: the ref hauling Marchand down to the ice and him very visibly saying "Fuck you!" to the ref. Hi-larious!

As a Leafs fan, I have to admit Swayman is definitely underrated, such a fantastic goaltender. I have a feeling he’ll be in Boston for a long time.

There are massive tv and ad contracts to lose, and if it’d be possible to extend the series, it might be worth paying out some kind of a “game 6 bonus” or something. The bruins are at no risk, they’ll win when they need to, so just maybe they were more interested in another profitable game than on winning this one.

As a Bruins fan, I was at the game last night. The Leafs were gutsy and played like it was an elimination game, and the B's were on their heels all night. The better team won last night

You briefly touched on the most important thing. We are finally nearing the end of Jack Edwards. No matter which team advances, it's a win for hockey fans.
I'm just glad that the Leafs didn't just roll over because they were down 3-1. It's the playoffs, you keep going, until you can't or you win the Cup.
That's all us Leaf fans ask for. Show some heart, show some effort and if they lose, so be it. If they play like they did the last game in Toronto, then I give up. Woll definitely has to start.

As a Boston fan I had a bad feeling about this game after the seasons performance and our inability to close. 3rd period losses, OT losses. Then I saw Beecher was out and Gryz in and my bad feeling got worse.
I don't know what it is with Montgomery, he is a great coach, but makes some seriously eyebrow raising decisions at KEY times. He did the same last year against the Panthers, we were up 3-1 and then he starts doing lineup changes.
We went in to the series and were told there would be goalie rotation, now it's Sway in net even though Ullmark stood on his head game two. They guy NEEDS to stop messing with things when they are working.
The whole Boston team looked off tonight. I have to say I thought the officiating was rubbish, the call at the end of the First to put Toronto on the PP was incredibly poor but I think it goes for any team in the league to win the cup you not only have to beat the opposing team but the zebras too, have seen some horrendous calls across every series so far. ie. those against Rempe especially his first shift game 1, the goaltender interference calls in multiple games and multiple series the last of which bolts v cats. Just makes it all hard to watch in the regard.
Anyway, GG Leafs. They deserved the win on this one, I have that feeling the momentum from this game as well as the Boston 3-1 lead/game 5 loss repeat will give them a win in game 6 and it will be a game 7 in Boston with Toronto full of life and Boston full of anxiety.

you mean with Woll in net and not samsonov? If sammy is in net bruins win in regulation. Sammy has never let in less than 2 goals this entire playoffs.
They do that. They step up when he's out. They did the same when mo was out too. If only they can keep that mentality when they're playing.

Watching the game as a bruins fan was infuriating. They played with little to no urgency and the amount of times the whiffed of the puck or failed to clear it was crazy. Montgomery needs to change something fast because relying on swayman is not a reliable strategy

Personally, as a Stars fan, I'm kinda hyped to see if the Leafs parade is on. But then off by Game 7.
Not gonna lie, I think the Leafs looked more dangerous on the PP this time compared to previous games. Also Nylander managed to gain the ozone quite often this game and he did some great moves too. But also, I agree that it felt like the Bruins were gonna score eventually

First half was all Leafs we only stood because of Swayman. Rest of the game was kinda guided by terrible officiating. It was frustrating to watch so many missed calls which were called against us before. But that happens. Bruins have to be stronger in the offense next game and Pasta needs to step up.

The Leafs are a very good team. But they have run into the very best goalie in the playoffs - Swayman, who will make advancing very difficult.
