    Henning, you really didn't need to make a video to prove you could help me build my own studio desk-just asking would've been enough! But now that I've seen it, you definitely get my seal of approval. Consider yourself the chosen one to make the trip from Germany to Sevilla to help me do the same. Truly grateful for your friendship, mate. You're the best!

    nice work :)
    the holesaws get dull because they get to hot. And they get hot because there is no way for the sawdust to go. So you can drill a hole on the inside of the circle to give the sawdust a place to eject, gives you longer lifetime of the holesaw and probably a faster cutting speed ;)
    And in my opinion you can get rid of the center foot if you put a squaretube oder angle iron across the racks and bolt it to the countertop. Maybe somthing for future builds :D

    • @EytschPi42
      @EytschPi42  Год назад

      I thought about the bar connecting the racks to not have a foot, but the foot was so much easier and doesn’t bother me.
      Great tip for the hole saw… I‘ll try that next time.

    For height I buy adjustable legs to screw them under the cabinets. I also screw legs to planks and made movable shelves on top of my table. But I prefer cabinets on wheels so I can relocate them as needed (and put my feet on top lol). Loved the TV holders - cheaper then Arctic, less flexible though. I love the USB hub hole, I've never seen one before! Hinged boards! Velcro! Clever stuff! Great video, loved the builds and I learned a trick or two for myself too! Thank you! :)

    Fantastic video on a great project!
    I know you said (paraphrasing) that there was no point in a parts list because your installation was custom. I disagree. I would ask nicely for one! I would include all hardware store miscellany. Starting with the rack units, add spacers, then countertops WITH bracing/brackets. Counting brackets can be the key! All of the different ones you chose. Include those two large truss braces to hold the back tabletop. Include the rear trim board that keeps pencils from rolling off the back edge. Now, count all the different types of holes you cut into the top, all sizes. Give a sample part description for all the ports from Amazon for each different type. Include the Gravity lamps, but nothing more technical. No cabling or connectors. Obviously, no consoles or computers. No Alexa units. I should probably have put this in an email, but I also cannot be the only viewer who wants this info. Anyway, I will assemble this info to a document for you if you wish.
