A lot of you guys have been asking about how I clean door jambs, so here it is! What do you think about this method? Do you prefer a different method? I'm interested to know!
Same way I clean the jambs 💯👈🏾👍🏾....I even spray a quick sealant wax on the jambs treating the jambs same as the body of the car so next time easy to clean....man you bad ass 💯
next..show us your detailing equipment..your garage tour..what product your'e using..what water gun your'e using..vacuum cleaner..bLower.. etc..thanks in advanced..cheers mate
I have to admit, I cut corners sometimes on the almost daily washes ( I like to drive Uber in my 535) but on occasion really dive in deep like this video, Just like to see how “ clean” I can make it look. Comments from friends, clients and riders are priceless when they find out its a 2016 model. It has lead to a lot of new detail clients as well. Never though of using that small woolie in that door jam though. Good idea. My little trick on drying all the door jams, inside hood and trunk is to use TW spray ceramic or spray graphene on the microfiber towel as a drying aid, and keep layering protection in those spots. Great video and reminder
OMG ,Thank you !!! I always struggled to clean between the door and the body frame and I never thought using a wheel whoolie ! Amazing work as always 👌
I have seen several but I think this video is the most amazing one with a brush wow I love doing this since I was a Lil child I love doing carwash leaving the clients car looking good so the client can go home satisfied n happy lots of blessings from down south pharr Texas I been doing carwash since I was 12 till right now I'm 37 years old
My method is very similar to yours. I like to make sure whatever paint protection is on the exterior is also on the door jambs. Especially if it is a ceramic coating. That has helped to keep them clean (and also with scratch protection) as time goes on. Great video my bru.
Great video! I really enjoy focused details like wheels off detail or seals and jambs, engine details etc. It's a nice change of pace sometimes. Thanks for the fantastic quality video and amazing content!
I like this method a lot. One other method I use is similar to this but I clay and ceramic coat the door jams just so it’s easier to clean for next time. I love the videos!
Great job. A few months ago i was watching a detailer here in the US had a nasty farm truck to clean. He cleaned the interior and exterior and waxed the truck. He said the owner didnt ask him to clean the door jambs so he didnt. In all the years i have had my car detailed have i ever been asked if i wanted my door jambs clean, it has always been cleaned each and everytime without having to ask for it.
''DETAILer'' and he doesn't clean the doorjamb, i guess he doesn't know the definition of going through details. There's some people that do the work with passion like virmijl and other that want an extra pennie for something that doesn't take much time.
Great video ✌🏼 next time tell us please how many Greenstar? 1:10? 1:20? In Your first videos u share for example: brake buster wheel cleaner (1:5). Write to the descreption please😃
Awesome vid thanks for posting! Where in the US or could I get the low flow flooding nozzle you used to rinse out the trunk channels with your pressure washer? I never knew they made such a nozzle. I need this in my life🙂🙂
Wait a US SLO-MARO in Europe? Didn’t think you guys liked our crappy cars…??? Great video BTW, dirty jambs drive me nuts and are always overlooked. Oh and I love how you just work your videos .. not a lot of talking.
I appreciate your attention to detail in all your videos, but I do have a question: when it comes to the GS, do you use it diluted or undiluted? Keep up the great work! 😅
I see you using Avlonking products. It’s so many people out say bad stuff but I don’t listen when I see you and other great retailers using it. I want to put the coating on my mom SUV will 1 bottle be enough. Do I really need to buy their booster for it?
Hi 👋 Comme d'habitude superbe vidéo 👍 Bravo . Une question peux tu nous faire voire le lavage de moteur ? Si tu le fais aussi ? Merci a toi 👍 Je kiff ton boulot bravo 🙏👋
I have to ask a stupid question but are you using a lower power pressure washer. Mine cranks out 3000 psi. I think. Even with the 40 degree fan setting, I think the back spray would get into my interior, big time.
Do you use a different nozzle for this, or can change the power output of your pressure washer? I have a kranzel which only has 1 power output and doing this with the nozzle i have would carpet me and the interior with water lol
Next sir..show us your detailing equipment..what kind of detailing products did you use..water gun your'e using..bLower..vacuum cLeaner..Your garage tour..etc..Thanks in advanced..cheers mate
I usually like doing the jambs first with the hose before I hook up the pressure washer, probably because I'm a wuss 🤷. Decent results with just that, 4:1 APC, and a detail brush..
Hi sir, myself Derick from India , Kerala..God's own country....inspired from you sir, I am starting detailling garage in my own home premises. But financially am down...could you please sponsor me your old polishing machine or any other detailling equipments that being not used now or equipments that you don't use or need ? Doesn't make any sense to leave all these nooks and crannies at the end. These can be done right after the prewash and then, at the end, you can just dry all the surfaces, including these ones, as you risk getting water spots the way you've shown. Also, using such a brush is incorrect as you will leave swirls. Even though these parts aren't visible, this would bother me if I brought my Camaro for a details and got swirls where I haven't had before. At least use a soft synthetic brush that will minimize the scratches.

Awesome video......I have a question, I don't see much of cleaning in the trunk itself, would you possibly do one in the near future?
You just did it again. .thanks for responding to the question for this vid. .

It's irrelevant. It depends on your specific shape, more dirty more products. If you do this often, you could dilute the product even more.
Macht sehr viel Spaß, dir bei der Arbeit zuzusehen!😉
Very good video, one question: you do this cleaning part before or after washing the car? I love your videos, greetings :)
I think either is fine. You will probably have to do a quick wipe down anyway 😉

Question here: Is it cold water from the pressure washer?

What dilution ratio do you use with Koch Chemie GS for cleaning all the door jambs? Awesome video as always, big love from Australia 🇦🇺🙌
1 to 10 is good👍🏼

Did you use diluted Green Star?
Hey vermijl car detail can you show us how to clean a roof liner? 🙏
do you always do this alone or with your team?
What ratio have you got green star at there?
What pressure washer do you use, you linked 2 different ones in the desc.
I detailed a Vauxhall corsa once which was covered in tar spots in the door Jams. How did it get there? Love the vids btw
You should tell your customer to close the door while driving. Haha, honestly I have no idea.
I clean my door jams everytime I wash me cars. I use carpro hydro2 lite as protection. Mist reaches every part of jams.
Great way of adding some protection!
Awesome. What dilution do you use for Gs?
Thanks! I used it 1:10 here
