Great work, the car looks almost like new. Also, the Mk4 Golf is a timeless car. 24 years old but wouldn't have looked out of place if they released it 15 years ago.
I used to have a MKIV Golf, for many years in this same colour. I’ve owned BMWs for a long time since then, but this is still my favourite car and the one I hold closest to my heart. Absolutely beautiful! Always wanted the GTI but never ended up getting one.
My grandmother had one new in Reflex Silver, this took me straight back there, almost 20yrs ago. What a transformation, they're still nice looking cars today, they've aged well.
Had mine for 21 years. Flash Red cleaned up beautifully. Great job on this one. Make sure you remove the wheel arch liners from time to time and blast out the debris , of which there’ll be loads!
Very cool. I like that there is no music and talking. Just making an old car looking good again. The only thing is, that all the stuff just goes into the ground 🫠
You gave a second life to this Golf! Great job! The Mk4 Golf was my first car. Now I have 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium and it’s definitely not so cool as Golf was.
Another great one, I got out yesterday for a maintenance wash after getting the itch watching your videos. When I can't detail because of weather these are the next best thing.
Like a lot of folk on here, I am an aficionado of the Mk 4 Golf, having owned a lovely V5 170bhp & the V6 4Motion, both in Reflex Silver. Like to see an old girl like this being kept mint, brilliant video, thanks for posting!
Crazy how it went from dark blue to a slightly light purple, loving it! Great job once again, I quite enjoy watching this, it's pretty satisfying and relaxing. I wish I could go to your shop and leave you my Z for hours and just look at you to learn and enjoy even more! Is there anybody knowing where's that shop at?
I have one, 2002 1.9 Tdi 130hp, what an amazing car. Amazing push from this "tiny" engine and stability (shame that the chassis is really weak). Design that never looks old and cheap spare parts.
The last of the "proper" VW Golfs. MkV was totally different with electric power steering rather than hydraulic for instance - it didn't feel how a Golf should to drive. Mk4 are a lovely drive. Great video, thank you.
MK 4 best Golf type ever:) It was a milestone back in the 90`s. Everybody wants a the new Golf with blue dash light inside. When i see this car get the same feeling like 24years ago, driving in a brand new one 110pk TDI (red i )
You are king of marketing. The white shoes to dirty job, every microfiber in the plastic bag. Slowly movements every stage... xD Yes, that`s amazing...
Golf Mk 4 have grown to super fine modern classic. I think the main reason that makes them such a cool modern classic is those curved lines. Rear end specialy.
A car rarely looks good when it's dirty. Many people are attracted to newer cars, because they're advertised CLEAN. People often don't like older cars because they are usually not clean and in a good shape. ... but if a car is in a good shape and clean, even if it's 50 years old, it will look good.
I have a MK4 Jetta (Bora, depending on the country). It's 18 years old and I'm as picky as this Golf's owner, talking about maintenance. Unfortunately, there's no one as professional as the guy on this video around where I live. They think everything depends on putting all of your weight on the polishing machine, at top speed.
@Vermijl, I'm a professional detailer in Atlanta, GA and have been detailing full time for almost a year, part time about a year before that. I'm always trying to hone in which chemicals and processes/methods to use, but was actually curious about length of time it takes you per vehicle roughly. For instance, how long did this VW in this video take from start to finish (accounting for recording the video as well). Thank you! P.S. Also thank you for turning me onto Carpro products as well, super cool stuff!
Watching detailing old dirty cars is more interesting than detailing cleaner cars.
@@kevinb7058 oh ya he is good. Whose wash process you like the most? I give huge importance to wash process.

Agreed
Oh yes, better than the new Mercedes!
For the video, yes. For the detailer, I wouldn't even touch some cars 🤢
Sometimes I forget how much of a timeless masterpiece the Golf 4 was.

A masterpiece? How exactly?

I still think the mk4 has the best quality paintwork, and interiors. A lovely car when kept stock, and serviced correctly. Really nice to drive.

It’s not timeless it looks out of the late 90s early 00 clearly

Maybe mid 2000s if you are lucky, but you can tell it’s an older design compared to the newer golfs
This is the first car detailing channel that does not have annoying music in the background. Glad that I clicked on this video 👍
It’s clear the production value that’s gone into making these is incredibly high.
My hat goes off to you - that’s an incredible job sir!!
I much prefer these kinds of videos of everyday cars getting pampered, rather than super cars. Great work, you made it look better than new!
I had a 1999 MK4 Jetta, it's hard to believe these cars are that old now. They've aged exceptionally well.
Have a 93 Subaru Impreza, another car that has aged like fine wine. Both cars still look great compared to newer cars in traffic today.

Hell, it´s like you´ve walked into a showroom back in ´99 and saw this car being displayed for the first time. Looks incredible. Nice job.
There’s no trick here…this golf was already in phenomenally good shape for its age.

A car close to my heart. I've got a 25th Anniversary Golf GTI and wished it looked this good. Amazing work 👏
Wasn‘t the 25th anniversary one the "Jubi GTI"? If yes, you got a serious gem in your possesion!
