Some of the most important values we could have: Kindness and Appreciation. Lacking so much nowadays.
The act of kindness, then the appreciation of that act. If more people were like this, the world would be an infinitely better place. Love it!
Never underestimate how much a small act of kindness could help someone. bravo!
Yes , one never know , and I guess we don’t know how long a simple kind word have gone.
Face like an angel and heart like an angel, Extremely rare these days. Bless her and the kind hearted gentleman who still remembered it after all the glory.

No wonder why he won a gold medal, both are kind individuals.
That's a dangerous statement, there might be naive kids (and grown ups) who think because they are kind they're entitled to something of a glorious magnitude
This is a beautiful story. Great athlete and wonderful volunteer! She helped a stranger, and he won the gold medal! That is what Olympic all about!
I live in the United States. And there was a saying many years ago that the French people were not very nice to the visitors if their English had American accent. I visited France about 12 years ago and found that was totally nonsense. No matter my wife and I got lost in the airport terminal, or needed directions in the train station, or even looking for a bus stop in the raining evening, the friendly locals always helped us out. We love France and we love its people! ❤
The guy was raised right , parents need to be proud.
Salute the PARENTS AND THIS YOUNG YOUNG MAN!
Salute to her parents also tho

A small act of kindness and care can change a person's life😊👍
That’s a good dude right there. And good on her for helping an athlete when he was in most need!
I think its one of the best news i have ever saw. Some people are so kind that they just won your heart in a moment of time❤️
God bless the athlete and the kind woman. Love to hear stories like this.
It's the greatest moment of the Olympics... helping a hand to an athletes who incidentally got a Olympic medal a Gold...an athlete of it's class...
Awwwwwww so kind!!!! And so lovely that the runner remembered her and went back to thank her.
Finally we see respect, kindness, gratitude and thoughtfulness all wrapped up in one nice story.
