Among the five here I clearly prefer Anthony Warlow and Colm Wilkinson for the most different reasons: - Anthony Warlow has such a beautiful lyrical baritone that is so wonderful for operetta and I see that he is making it so suitable for the phantom that I was just melting away. - The other is Colm Wilkinson, the purity of his voice shows a certain vulnerability inside the phantom I really adore. It shows so splendidly that the phantom actually is a wounded soul. The wounded soul of an artist.
Colm is a legend and spectacular. John Owen is wonderful. Ramin (no one can hold a candle to him). Sarah, there are not enough hand movements out there to make you sing better. You had your time. Please pass your torch to Sierra.
I'm so glad someone else said it first. I've never, ever liked Sarah. I don't get why people were/ are so enchanted by her. I'm not sure she could ever control her vibrato. Now it's so slow, she literally gets behind the music. Though, honestly, some people do love her, so good on them, if they can enjoy her
After I listened to this show from youtube 2 years ago.i begin to search video with keyword “John Owen Jones.”A All his video are with not good quality but so emotional and now I follow him. Very beautiful hand ,nice acting and wonderful voice. So i begin to search Colm and Antony warlow. I love antony warlow too. Colm is with very powerful voice i love his voice but his hand wave is not for me. Now I follow John owen Jones.God send him to this world to be an angel of music. Today I listen again.Thank you to post again and I love john owen jones most.I hope in the future ,I have a chance to join his live.
My favorite musical forever and always. Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman pulled me in and I enjoy all and any performers who sing those intoxicating songs. Thank you Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice.
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT PETER?? HE IS BY FAR MY FAVOURITE HIS VOICE IS SO PRETTY My guy is a swedish gay man who played the phantom until like 2018 and I love that yet no one seems to care
Sadly he is one of the most unliked phantoms because of his voice. For me, I really like the difference he brings to Erik and he seems to really love his character, while I love Ramin and JOJ, and some others, I think Peter does a Phantom with more fears and sadness than rage, and for me it works... sad that there is no studio recording of the songs in swedish, of hia version
My friend was a west end phantom at the end of the 80s - sadly it came a little too late in his career as his voice couldn’t meet the constant demands of the role RIP Martin 💔
She has always been like that. The only music of hers that I have listened to was her time to say goodbye, duet with Andrea Bocelli. She sounded normal and it was beautiful
@@startrekmaniac1701 she did always have a crazy vibrato, but it was not always unpleasant like this. In my opinion when she was young the weird qualities of her voice were charming because her voice was very angelic and haunting, but she doesn’t have that haunting quality in this performance so the vibrato is just annoying. Oh well, it happens to a lot of singers with age. And I’m not really criticizing this performance. It’s awesome to see the original Christine up there, even if her voice is not what it was.
JOJ should done 25th,was crime he didn't ,Ramin ok but tends to rush his words ,Sarah not same anymore which understandable with amount of concerts she's done worldwide ,warlow still has it thou he's amazing phantom he was
She was nearing 60 here and I believe recently had some vocal surgery. Her later performances were at least better than this, but i agree, she doesn’t sound too great now unless she’s singing very soft music.
@@startrekmaniac1701 even though she wasn't the best Christine she still was better when she was younger. I've noticed theater singing has better singers today that in the past.
Mostly the mens’ voices do not blend well together. The two on the right are great together, and Colm Wilkinson’s voice is gorgeous as always. I’m sure the youngest has his fans, but he sounds so untrained when put with the others. 😬
No matter how many times I've watched this beautiful moment with The Phantoms, I just break down in tears. So beautiful and haunting. ❤🌹😢
Me too ✋️ love it. Never get old
My only complaint is that they didn’t let Michael Crawford perform.
@@darthkurlandhe didn't want to 😊
Colm Wilkinson was and always will be the definitive Phantom.
I can't be the only one who loves the harmony when they say only then in music of the night
Had the priviledge of seeing Colm Wilkinson when he played the Phantom in Toronto in the early 90's. Absolutely superb.
Tears tears and tissues. Simply spectacular!
I love them all but Michael Crawford was my 1st Phantom on Broadway
He was my first Phantom, period.
I'm going to London to watch Phantom tomorrow, so excited!!
Speechless, absolutely amazed, tears, just tears, wonderful performance, thank you for sharing.
what a wonderful and moving moment when all the artists are together on stage!
What a awesome performance by the greats!!
Always my favourite opera!🌹

Ugh. Anthony Warlow 😍 yes to both!
The whole thing gives me the chills!

Best phantom is Michael Crawford
Why to Sierra?

Colm slides into the notes far too much. He has little control over his pitch.
@@leaarinwarkentine agreed. Some of her music is okay but I don't like her as Christine by any means

Não canso de ver, ouvir essa música tão linda! Ver a peça, foi o maior presente da vida! Gratidão meu Deus!

Tim Rice? U mean John Hurt?

Michael Crawford always.❤
After all this time, the phantoms can still belt those numbers!
Absolutely love this❤
Softest spot in my heart for Colm but oh just wow wow wow for all that talent and emotional provocations🥰🥰
I think my favorite part for Colm will always be Les Mis....
Love Sarah ❤️
My friend was a west end phantom at the end of the 80s - sadly it came a little too late in his career as his voice couldn’t meet the constant demands of the role
RIP Martin 💔
No shade to Sarah. Loved her in Repo. I just melt listening to Nicole’s version with the four 🥵🥵
Fantastic musical, amazing singer with great backup singers. !
It's rock-opera!
Colm Wilkinson and Michael ball don’t age ,it’s not fair
Michael Ball is not here!
Aight show of hands, who all's here after the announcement of the end of the Broadway run and sobbing like a baby?
I love colm in les miserable but my favorite stage phantom will always be michael crawford.
Beautiful 😍
I love you Andrew ❤️🥰🌹
Грядут сильнейшие, те четверо что связанные - при великой реки Ефрат.
anyone else thought it was weird they didn't bright the other christine's out with their respective phantoms instead of JUST Sarah Brightman?
No. She was the original and the best
@@SJHUE I'm not disputing that, I'm just saying as they've invited all the phantoms, it's just manners to involve the other christine's too
@@8belleangel8 Fair enough! 👍

Colm is still by far the best phantom. Only cause he was the Canadian version.
ok but when they brought out ramin I was like WHAT. then they brought out michael crawford and I was...yeah i got emotional
I can’t remember why didn’t Michael Crawford sing again?
He had a performance later that night
JOJ should done 25th,was crime he didn't ,Ramin ok but tends to rush his words ,Sarah not same anymore which understandable with amount of concerts she's done worldwide ,warlow still has it thou he's amazing phantom he was
I read once that JOJ was the first choice for 25th anniversary but rejected to play in Les Mis
I love Sarah but her singing is not the best now, especially in this presentation
Her singing was never that great. Her vibrato is annoying and she is to nasally

I remember owning the original cast recording on cassette. She was at her best then and set the bar high, but all good things must come to an end.

I expected way more from the girl

They repost like crazy, I guess because theaters opened back up but they still want to make money from this account lol.
This is lazy and lacking passion and some parts sang out of tune and timing is missing at parts
