Just use a mild dishsoap and a sponge. Clean whole shoe unless you want water spots when drying. Fill toes with something hard to keep the rise. Im on year 10 of my pairs. Still looks brand new and i do swedish winters here so they are on half the year. Be sure to waterproof regularly.
Hello, I just got my first pair of timberland boots. As a new user, do I have to waterproof spray it on the new boot which I just got and haven’t worn, or should I waterproof spray it after I have worn it for a long time?
Also why they keep switching between two different pairs throughout the cleaning process. At 0:12 they use one with a very light embossing of the timberand logo, and then at 0:32 they switch to one with much darker embossing
My dude, got the same shoes. I have some dark stains on them because of the thing that's sprayed on the streets by the council to prevent frost. Tried with vinegar, special solutions, soap and so on - but the stains just keep like moving from one side to the other. How can I remove them for good?
What if the boot is brand new out the box and all u want to do is spray it with the Balm Proofer is that going to be a problem or mess the boots up in any way ???
No, you’re supposed to pre spray the boots with stain / water repellent when you buy them new because they don’t spray boots before selling because I’d assume it’d hurt the presentation quality for selling
Eu tenho esses produtos. Mas antes de aplicar eles e tirar as manchas, é melhor usar uma bicha de louça na parte amarela, usa com detergente. Depois de seco, usa a borracha e o spray
I tried to clean a tiny dirt spot by rubbing it a bit with a wet towel, there's a bit of a water stain on it and besides I wiped off a tiny bit of colour. Can I fix this with this cleaning kit? I just bought one.
I have an issue. I just bought this on timberland website. The foaming cleaner doesn’t have the pump spray cap. It just has a top like a hand sanitizer. So it comes out as a liquid. 🤔
@@Michelle-ez9hs another good point. The issue I have is they show this same exact video on their website as an advertisement for this product. So they are actually misleading you. I will read the label. Thanks
@@NorthJerseyFooter I agree. I was confused when I opened the packaging. I even directly put solutions on my microfiber before I read the label. Hope everything is resolved.
What do you immediately see in a Timberland shoe? That he has heels! A huge leap stands out; the shoe does not have a flat platform like your foot is. Heels or unevenness in footwear emerged as a fashion with the King of France Louis XV who wanted to look taller than he was. Any unevenness in shoes, no matter how small, will cause future trauma to your ankle, knee, hip and spine joints. And it is shocking that a brand that promotes walking uses the infamous heel in its shoes. Shoemakers and quack doctors invented that sports shoes must have a "shock absorber" on the ankle when stepping on hard ground. Well, let them do it, as long as it doesn't cause an unevenness in the body's natural posture. Often the heel is on the inside of the shoe and the best way to feel it is by trying it on. So don't go along with marketers and quack doctors, use common sense: look and discard immediately, you will soon acquire beneficial nausea from heels.
@@just_maceo4445 There's no point in saying "no" or offending. That's not an argument! You didn't say anything, you didn't present anything new, you just said "no." This true comment about the damage caused by heels is obviously not restricted to Timberland, it applies to anyone who produces a shoe with a heel. How does Timberland, which sets out to make comfortable walking shoes, make shoes with heels and internal unevenness that damages tendons and ligaments?

Could you use A towel?
I don't know about dish soap. They left a light mark on mines after scrubbing lightly. I had to apply to the whole boot so it can be a even color
What do you use to fill the toes to avoid creasing?
Did you use a brush?

You can usually find them in shoes stores like Journey’s or at a Timberland store. You just have to ask for them.

Cleaning brand new boots. Nice
The balm proofer clearly states to use a hair dryer for best results...
so natural drying or quick heat drying, which is best?
that doesn’t make sense to me because heat dries out leather. but what do i know, i didn’t make the boots lol
Keep in mind most hair dryers can do air without heat. Maybe that's best?

Read the back of the bottle. You’re supposed to mix one cap full of the solution with 4 caps of water
